many reasons... my art doesn't have a style yet, so most of the times I pick up a reference picture, such as anime pictures, and make a drawing based on that. Not 100% like it because I can't draw something totally like the other, specially if it's in the computer screen.
In some ways that's cheating, so... I can't charge for my cheating skills u.u"
and and... on very rare occasions I might do something without a reference picture, but it ends up looking weird xD
