Alrighty then... well... can you think of any other character we can bring in?
Oooor... y'know, Sokka could just continue to take care of him for a little while and then they could start traveling again when Zuko recovers and when he trusts him enough tell him.. or maybe not ever tell him, but have Zhao mention it next time they meet? Or I dunno... hm..
The way I see it, he probably won't say anything for like a super long time... (knowing you mrs. stubborn a**.) (must be a reflection of character... ^_~ ) So they'd probably have to go on trying to get home(find the boat) together... erm, and Sokka would probably be a little nicer but I dunno about Zuko being nice... :/
I dunno... you got anything? ))

Mmmm... only characters in the general area would be the characters from Kyoshi Island... but there's no benders there. But there is Suki. <3
And well... Sokka isn't an idiot... I mean... couldn't he figure out what happened if he just took the time to think about it? XD;; Because Zuko sure as hell ain't saying nothing and Zhao will only give suggestive remarks at best.
Buuut... I'm thinking that the best way to move on might just be to have the ship return. That will force the two to have a change of pace from Zuko just angsting and Sokka being clueless.))

No, Sokka isn't an idiot... buuut most people wouldn't assume rape, ya know. I mean, maybe he'd assume that Zhao did something, yea, but he probably would be clueless as to what it was. I mean... remember what happened with my roommate? I had no idea, no idea at all... even though she was acting all funky, I never ever would have imagined that... something like THAT would've happened.
I mean... he might get it eventually... but I'm gonna say that nothing like that has ever happened to him or anybody he knows so it'd definitely going to take a little while. I dunno. If you want it to work like that... then maybe... I could... but iono yet... I have to see how things play out.
Erm, yea, guess the ship works too... X3;;

Ah, I see your point. It does make sense that Sokka wouldn't understand such 'mature' things so easily, considering he's lived in a small village his entire life. XD;;
Hmmm... well then, I guess it's going to be a while until Sokka finds out then... because if Sokka finds out on his own, that will certainly take a while, and same with if Zuko ends up speaking up about what happened. Oooh, but it could be interesting is Iroh found out? o.o I mean, he knows his nephew very well, he's a lot wiser than Sokka, and he'd probably sense if anything was wrong.
But okay then. ^^ We can have the ship return.))

((Yea, I dunno if Sokka know much about sex. Haha, I know he helps the women...but it's usually not on intimate levels. That's Katara's job. Liiiike, when he saw that lady give child birth and passed out... XD; I'm not even sure if he knows that it can happen between 2 guys... loool. Naive little fool. ^^;
Oh yea, maybe Iroh would work.
Oo and I wanted to ask you, what were Zhao's motives?
Sorry that sounds dumb, but ya know, just wondering. In my rape stories I try to give the one doing it some reason... like beyond... just because they can. I dunno. Like for power, control, or a specific reason? Like when I have Malik's dad do it to him or Rishid, he punishes them because of defiance. Needs to show the kids whose in charge and the penalty of misbehaving and breaking the rules/traditions/whatever.

Ah, don't worry, I like motives too. XD Zhao's motives were pretty much to humiliate Zuko. He wanted to show him that even though he was a prince, he wasn't worth anything more than a cheap ********. Not to mention he wanted to see what the other's reaction would be, because he loves tormenting people. <3 So pretty much he wanted: to humiliate/bring down Zuko's pride, show his power and dominance over the prince, freak the other out, and get a cheap ********. Hurray! <3))

Sokka stared off wearily at the horizon. Today... had been such a day, hadn't it? If only he could figure out what had happened to make Zuko act so weird...
... and to feel that bad for him? Why couldn't he just be mean to the prince!? After all Zuko was cruel to him ever since they'd met! He'd kidnapped his sister! He was part of the Fire Nation, who'd made the whole world suffer! And yet, here he was, a water tribesman feeling bad for the prince of the Fire Nation.
"I'm so... stupid." Sokka muttered, hitting a nearby tree with his boomerang as Hawky groomed himself on a perch nearby.
He pulled the boomerang out of the tree and then flung it into the distance, towards the setting sun that painted the clouds along the horizon shades of red, orange and purple. He watched a flock of birds scurry over the sparkling water. A small school of fish scattered in panic as one of birds splashed into the water and the other's followed in sync. Then came his boomerang, right back over that horizon, right in front of some Fire Nation boat, it was --
Wait. Fire Nation... boat?
No.. that's not any boat... that's... Zuko's boat!
"WE'RE SAVED!" Sokka exclaimed, jumping into the air rather gracelessly as the boomerang nearly came hammering back into his head. When he was done jumping, he grabbed the weapon off the ground and sprinted back towards the inn, screaming, "We're saved! We're saved!"

Zuko was lying back in bed, angsting. He had curled up under the covers and was staring at the wall, his legs curled as close to his body as they could be without being completely uncomfortable.
He had hastily redressed himself, but only in the underclothing, not bothering with any add-ons or armor. He just wanted to... sleep... but he couldn't.
Dammit. Dammit all. How could Zhao DO something like that?! How could he...
Zuko closed his eyes tightly, trying to erase the memory from his head... yes... the memory of what had happened was finally returning less-fuzzy now that the drugs had completely worn off... but he didn't want to remember it... it was disgusting... for that horrible man to...
Zuko clenched his fists tightly around the cloth lining of his pillow, gritting his teeth hard enough to damage them. Why couldn't he stop thinking of what happened?! And Why had Sokka discovered him like... LIKE THAT?! He couldn't only hope that the other teenager hadn't caught on to what had happened... he would rather be mistaken for some crazy drug-user who liked to lay around naked than the victim of a rape... damn Zhao to hell...

Galloping back to Inn, and pushing through the small crowds of people that were beginning to form along the shore line, he continued screaming merrily.
Almost there!
Then he remembered Hawky.
Sokka turned around as he was running to see if his friend had followed, and lo and behold the faithful bird was darting behind him through the sky. Sokka made a goofy grin at him and waved, completely ignoring the man with the cabbage cart in front of. Within seconds, the merchant, himself and all of the cabbages were in a pile on the ground. Sokka popped his head out of the cabbages and met eyes with the angry man. "Uh.. I'm sorry! But I gotta go! K! Some money for your inconvenience!" He stated hurriedly, throwing the contents of his pocket at the bitter older man.
"Hey! This is just an acorn and a couple of strings!" The distance voice of the man called as the tribesman darted off again.
"Whooopse...." Sokka said to Hawky with a sheepish grin as he jumped over the Inn stairs and ran into the door, whirled around the corner, and finally made it, completely out of breath to Zuko's room.
"Good. News." He gasped between breaths. "You're boat. Came back. Let's go! Before they leave. Or something."

Zuko quickly sat up, turning to face Sokka. He seemed relatively happy of the news, or as happy as a post-rape Zuko can be at least, but he looked terrible.
There was a dark circle under his good eye, his face looked slightly sunken, and his hair was for-once free of its ponytail, instead a tangled mess seeming to be trying to go back to its familiar ponytail-position, but unable to do so without the support of a hair tie. Not to mention, Zuko also looked far paler than usual, which was pretty damn pale.
"My ship has... returned?" he quickly stood up out of bed, flinching for only a moment before quickly gathering up his things, wanting to get out of this place as soon as possible. Now that he had somewhere else to go... his own room... yes, he just wanted to get away from everyone. He didn't want to look at any person's face right now. He just wanted to be alone. No, he needed to be alone...

"Want me to help you with your things?" Sokka finally asked. After all, standing there waiting and swinging his arms back in forth seemed counter productive.
"I can at least help you with your hair. It's messy." He stated pointedly. "Gotta have a neat pony tail, right? Makes ya more of a man. Yuuup. That's what my dad always taught me!" He bragged, showing off a rather goofy full toothed grin and running on of his hands over his forehead and across his hair.
((WTF is Sokka talking about? *sigh* I don't control him anymore... I swear.))

Zuko quickly snapped his gaze in Sokka's direction, "No, I don't need help!" he said, "Just go meet the ship at port and inform my men that I will be arriving shortly!" he finished, trying to ignore whatever the hell Sokka was talking about with hair. He really, really didn't want to be around this guy right now.
