Shiki instinctively wanted to jump back when the plants started growing, but he kept himself positioned there. He silently waited for this to end.

Sandra paused for a moment to make sure he wasn't going to flinch and hurt himself. Then she had the thorns pierce his skin and inject their sap into him.

(My posting is going to be little for the rest of the night. I got a load of studying to do)

Shiki made a small cry when the thorns broke his flesh, but he remained as still as he could. He could feel the sap entering his bloodstream.

Sandra let the sap flow into his blood and then pulled the thorns back with her magic and made the plant shrink back into the ground. "All done," she said as the bush disappeared.

Shiki shivered, "I don't think I'll ever get used to that," He said weakly.

"I can't imagine it's a pleasurable experience," Sandra remakred, walking up to him. SHe picked out his jacket where he had dropped it and held it out to him.

"It kinda feels creepy if nothing else," Shiki said and took the jacket.

"So do you want to go shopping now?" Sandra asked.

"Sure," Shiki said and causally pulled his jacket on.

Sandra waited for him to put his jacket on and then grabbed his hand and lead him towards town. She almost said something about this trip going better than the last on but decided against it. She just kept her eyes open for one as they got closer to town.

Shiki followed along silently. He wasn't going to leave Sandra like before. He knew he wasn't.

Sandra walked hand in hand with Shiki without talking. "There," she said when she spotted a store. "We can find something in there." She lead him over to it.

"Alright," Shiki agreed. He let himself be led along.

Sandra pushed the door open and walked inside. When she was inside, she began to feel dizzy and her walking became unsteady.

"Are you okay?" Shiki asked.
