Tarik's boat makes it's way through the Carribean islands to Cancun. They look for a place to weigh anchor to go ashore. They will need to hike into the jungle for the stone.
Tarik gives the compass to the Sargent so that he could lead a party to cut a path through the thick jungle to get to the stone.

she got to her feet, unconcienceness doesn't usually help the uncoordinated. she rubbed the tender spot on the ack of her head she had hit it when they crashed.
"First of all Owwwwww! and second of all i dont think you will believe me but I’m your daughter, from the future of course. Princess Sky Slayer. doesn't exactly roll off the tongue but good choice on my name" she told him still rubbing the back of her head from getting knocked out. she kept walking by him looking at the empire.

Slayer looks at the Women " You are my child.... It cant be.. They said you died when you where young. I cant believe they would lie to me... I am so happy i get to see you "
He rushed to her and gave Sky a big hug. He felt the emotions coming back and could not hold back the tears of joy . He kissed her head and looked at her
" Wow you have grown up to be a beautiful women. Just like your mother . I Am so happy to see you. So are you alright ?. nobody touched or harm your right ? "
A recruit walks into the tent " Mi lord. The Front lines have reported and increase of troops . The Crusaders are launching a full blow attack. What are your orders ? "
He looks back at the recruit " Move them back towards the town. We will have a full out retreat and head back to Egypt. "
The recruit nods and heads off

Sasori steers the boat to a cove, hidden away from Tarik's ships. She anchors the boat and ties down the sails. "So, now what? He seems to have people cutting a path through the jungle. Should we just wait and follow? They have the compass."

"We move... with our small numbers we should be able to make it through. Onyx, hate to do it, but can you follow them?" From the looks of things the guardians were rather behind, they would need to pull out all the stops this time, so that they could end it as soon as possible. An odd thought came to mind as he whispered under his breath to summon a dove. He whispered in its ear a message to Deliver to Skurai. If there were going to make this the final fight they were going to need more help even if it meant a fight between the two.

Sasori tells Eiji, "Ok we will follow the path Tarik took. Should try to keep towards the sides so we won't be seen. Let's go."
Sasori grabs her katana and a machetti to cut through the jungle with.

"I'll take a faster route," he said quietly, as if he didn't care one way or another. He leaped up and out of the boat, shooting up and over the small beachfront and vanished into the trees. Roarke watched the young man vanish into the trees. "He's an odd one," he muttered as he followed Sasori and Eiji, drawing his own katanas out to use.

Tarik's scouting crew cuts through the jungle until they find a small road. They follow the compass down the road 20 miles until they come to a village with a small pyramid in the middle. It is obvious they are strangers, the warriors from the village come and surround Tarik's small scouting party.
They take his crew captive and bring them to a long narrow courtyard area of the village. Tarik decides not to fight the warriors until he learns more about the village and what number and arms they have. He can always call in his army from the boats if he needs. He sends a bird to the boat to tell the crew to stand ready. On the way to the courtyard, he sees the pyramid and the compass seems to indicate that the stone is nearby, but it is moving. Hmm...someone must have it.
Tarik and his scouting party stand in the middle of the courtyard. There seems to be a king and shaman up on a ledge above them at the end of the courtyard.

Onyx moved quickly and skillfully through the trees, half aware he was moving much faster than was normal; he also knew Acos was close by. "That friend of yours is slightly disturbing at times; he is inhumanly fast," he said quietly. Roarke was starting to find Onyx disturbing with his unusual talents and skills.

She notices that they might have some company.

One of Acos's wings hit a tree branch, and she fell into what seemed to be a village. Meggie ran through the trees, ahead of the others.

Acos, hold on, Onyx thought, vanishing before he even realized it and catching her about eight feet above the ground. He paused a few houses in with shock. Okay, that was just weird, he thought in dazed surprise.

Owch...my stupid wing... Acos thought as soldiers surrounded them. Meggie stopped as she stared at the soldiers.
