Well yes i would cut myself if i was depressed enough. i have cut in past and i just cut myself recently because of my parents disapproval of me and lack of a love life. (pretty stupid reasons, i know) i also just like to bleed.. eek yes i am that kind of person

its just getting adicted 2 something thats painful is a lot harder that getting adicted 2 drugs or alcohol(not saying its not harmful)

Ive gotten close to cutting myself at times cause i felt so depressed and just didnt care anymore. I didnt cut...just got very close, i dont drink alcohol at all (i did ONCE). But again with the cutting...i got close to doing it just like i got close to go heavily drinking at my cousin's house.

So dont be afraid to say something...yes there are posers, but there are also others that handle their lives differently from others. Ive noticed alot of people say "dont cut yourselves, just f*cking grow up!"
Yeah well that doesnt exactly make alot of people happy and stop cutting themselves...it just makes them pissed off and then people fight or argue.

Still, you should say whats on your mind and i would like to encourage you to say so. I mean if everyone just read and didnt post anything there would be a lot of one way conversations and whatnot.

There are people who cut for different reasons, not everyone that cuts is emo, and yes there are posers, my brother for example isnt per say an emo poser but he is a big poser >.<

Not to be nosey im just curious is all...but what did your parents disapprove of? And i dont think those are too stupid reasons...i myself have gotten close to cutting with problems with love problems amongst other things.
Some people do like to bleed, some people like to light a match and place the hot ember on their arm or others like to get stung by bees so youre not a freak or anything dont worry smile

Yeah, I'd cut. Have before, but made the mistake of cutting too deep, and requiring stitches. Now I'm not allowed to have sharp objects. Or anything that can make fire, but that's a different story.

But now, in my town cutting isn't on ur wrists, we have to wear school uniforms, no wrist bands..and no way to hide the cuts, so we find other places of teh body to do so. Yes I have, not for like 2 months, it's hard to quit, but I used to cut my ankles, cause of my mom so yeah.

Cutting yourself is, I think, a matter of courage. Basically meaning if you hurt enough to cut. There have been so many times that I had a razor but I never slid it across.
