Sunday Stealing: The Very Late Meme

1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up:
- My camera
- The cat that my friend made me for Birthday/Christmas/Birthday *laughs* ((It took her awhile to complete it... sweatdrop ))
- The cougar plush I bought awhile ago from my school's Bookstore

2. How do you style your hair?
On the weekdays, I pull the top layer of my hair back into a ponytail ((think Sailor Venus but without the bow)). On the weekends, I let my hair hang down. In all, I just brush my hair and let it air dry.

3. What are you wearing now?
My "Feline Sleepy" pajamas...

4. What's your occupation?
Child Care - Babysitter

5. What do you hear right now?
"Hearts Collide" by Little Boots... and my Mom on the treadmill in the office next door

6. Who was the last person you hugged?
Dad

7. What is/was for dinner?
I'll find out when it's dinnertime.

8. What did you do today?
So far I've ate the buttermilk pancakes Mom made us. Took care of my Facebook apps. And been doing various memes here. About to head off and take a shower when I'm done with this meme.

9. Dog person or cat person?
Cat person for sure. I may get along with dogs, but I've always been a cat lover.

10. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
The only time I'll change my name is when I get married and take on my future husband's surname. Unless he wants to take my surname, then I won't have to change my name.

11. What was the last thing that you bought?
Dinner at school: grilled cheese sandwich, Chai Spice Black Tea and a chocolate chip cookie.

12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
The U.K., especially London.

13. Where do you see yourself in five years?
Working happily. Possibly in a happy relationship. Maybe in my own place? *shrugs*

14. Where's your birthmark?
I don't have one...

15. What are you doing this weekend?
Today is Sunday. Weekend's almost over.

16. Which book are you reading at the moment?
For school, I'm reading "When Borne Across." For personal interest, I've finally gotten back around to continuing my reading of Volume 2 of the Sherlock Holmes collection set I have.

17. The last movie you've seen?
No Greater Love. It's an alright movie. The religious preachy atmosphere sort of ruined the experience a bit for me.

18. What are you doing tomorrow?
School.

As I stated in one of my responses, I'm off to take a shower. And because of the time, I'll probably be eating lunch as well as soon as I'm done getting dressed and what not. So... be back in awhile.

Sunday Stealing: The Sunset Meme

1. What is your favorite Mexican dish?
Um... Mexican Mac? *laughs* I don't even know if that would technically count, since the only Mexican thing about it is the Taco Seasoning. Anyway, I'm not much of a fan of Mexican food.

2. When you were a kid, did you get started on your homework right away after school, or did you procrastinate?
I always started my homework as soon as I got home from school. Still do today.

3. What is your favorite store for home furnishings?
Um... JCPenny? I don't know. We rarely have to get any home furnishings for our house.

4. When you were young, did you like school lunches?
I probably didn't actually start liking school lunches until high school and onwards. The lunches before that were alright... sometimes the lunches were a little weird and we often made fun of it. Like the chicken nuggets... they bounced.

5. Is religion a crutch?
In a way, it can be. Some people can get so immersed in their religion that they can't make a decision for themselves without it being dictated by what their religious book says to do or not do.

6. In your region, what is the “big” high school sport?
Football.

7. Do you consider yourself rich?
Since starting school at the university, and the recent downfall of the economy, not so much.

8. Which of these would you have the best chance administering:
A) CPR
B) Heimlich Maneuver
C) Changing a flat tire
Either the CPR or changing a flat tire.

9. Which dance would you prefer to learn & why:
A) Salsa
B) Hip Hop
C) Waltz
D) Swing
I've already sort of learned a little bit of all of those through the dance classes I've taken. But if I had to further my knowledge in one of the dances, I would go with the waltz. I love the waltz.

10. What’s the worst news you’ve ever delivered to someone?
Um... that I wanted to break up with the guy I had been dating at the time? *shrugs* Informing my Mom that her brother had been in a car accident and was at the hospital? ((He's okay, by the way; just a slight concussion and few bumps and bruises; can't say the same for the car though))

11. Name something you learned in college that had nothing to do with classes or academics.
Getting involved with the Queer community. Befriending someone who gave me hope in love again. *shrugs* There's probably a lot of things I could list.

12. New variation on an old question: If there’s a song in your head that just won’t get out, what is your favorite (or most repeated) line in that song?
The recent song that's been stuck in my head, because I've been listening to it non-stop, is Little Boots' "Hearts Collide." My favorite line would have to be "Feet kept firm on the ground / But my head got lost in the clouds" because it describes me perfectly. I've been considered to be a down-to-earth person, but I'm also quite the daydreamer. xd

1. ONE OF YOUR SCARS, HOW DID YOU GET IT?
I have no scars.

2. WHAT IS ON THE WALLS IN YOUR ROOM?
Pictures of cats, a 3-D picture of a horse, a shelf of collectible horses, a bulletin board with various stuff on it, a wall scroll that says "Cats Rule Dogs Drool"; and a shelf of water globes and other knick-knacks.

No

Basically anything except rap, metal, screamo, and music like that. The most common music genres I'll listen to is Pop, Country and Rock.

8:31 pm... if I remember correctly...

Money. A relationship - not just any relationship, but one that is long and happy. *sighs*
