While I was attending MegaCon, last weekend, I had
the pleasure of going to the Gaia panel, too.

There were sketches of monthly collectibles, various
monsters and NPCs, a piece from the battle system's
soundtrack, as well as the promise of Gaian pinball,
in our not- so- distant future.

Sounds like there's a lot of work on the battle system as of late. Qixter pointed out they've even started talking to the press about it.

Qixter points out a couple pointers of what will happen when the game first starts and the MMO's items in the market place.

He also indicates that he updates his profile more often then anything else.

I believe the beta- testing's presently taking place,
so the official release of the battle system should
occur sometime in the fall or early winter, of 2008.

For the ones, who've been around for a long while,
this is a special occasion that's certainly worth the
wait. Have patience, my friends; it's almost here.
