i've only tried it twice but it's a little confusing with all the different sections. I didn't find the sort option for Lowest Buy Price but I read that it's there...somewhere.

They are supposed to refund the vendor's license so we'll get our 1000 gold back.

The 2% is ok for game or cheap items but it's a lot more for higher priced items like demon horns or devil tail. But if they lower prices I might actually be able to afford them biggrin

guess I'll try it a few more times before I decide if I like it or not.

well with the new announcement, it seems everything we question about the whole 2% thing the guy is making it out to seem like our concerns don't matter and are silly questions compared to what HE thinks will happen. I doubt what he thinks will happen will although it will be nice too see MC's at 4k again.

They should have a limit to prices on the marketplace.

Say, when collectibles first come out, they cannot be sold for over 12k or something. And it remains that way, until the next one comes out.]
I've seen collectibles sold for ridiculous prices, and it annoys the hell out of me.

I can also see the 2% thing now. I hate it. Yes. Because in the long term it'll affect me, as I use the marketplace often.
But it'll take out quite a bit of gold out of the gaian economy. With less gold, people will want cheap things, and will no longer be able to afford really expensive things. Therefore, people will need to start to lower their prices in order to sell off their items. Though it would take ages to get to that stage x.x

since i bought mcs this month, i've had the opportunity to participate in the beta testing of the new marketplace...i don't really like all of the boxes that clutter up the landing page for the marketplace especially the useless boxes "luxury items" and "what you might like"...however, i've spent more time checking out the feedback forum for the beta testing...i haven't posted anything in it though because people have already voiced things that i would say...as for the 2% vending fee, i'm undecided at the moment...in the end, i think what they should do is just place caps on prices that people can sell items for and add a "report price gouging" button in each marketplace listing in order to curb price gouging...i see too many people buy common items and jack the price up real high
