Jelly: Lol. I am glad you liked the color combo, and I really love your current avatar. I am still editing this blue avatar, but I was wondering if I add the Fremere's Guard (falling fury-the blue petals) would it work with this avatar? If not, what would? And if it isn't too much trouble I would like you to make me a tektek please. Lately, I have been running low on color combos or avatar ideas and gold x.x So, here's my envi. I'd have to check out Frem guard thing; I'm rather unfamiliar with that item. ^^; But here's a tektek:  I added the santa baby leggings and the blue stockings. On Gaia, they'll layer to be purple. x3 As far as the black goes, I think there's a tad too much on the lower half in that version. D: But I think if you changed it up a bit, it would look great with black. : D

Comments: Your usage of red is excellent, but the other colors seem less organized. Most noticeably, the belt is a different white than the socks and ears. Personally, I would remove it. Second, I would NEVER suggest using elemental wings. I think they throw the balance of avatars way off (top heavy), especially if they're on the side that would weigh the avatar into slouching. I know that sounds weird, because avatars don't slouch, but do you know what I mean? It makes her look sort of hunched? Then I'd suggest holding another gold &/or white item in your empty hand (I'm sure Pico has something if you own one :/ ) I think you should add something white to the face, and maybe try to find another gold item that has your other colors as well, so you could more smoothly integrate it into your outfit. Most of the gold items you're wearing at the moment are accessories, so they look a tad tacked on. But I think with some tweaking, this could make a really strong avatar. :3 <3

Do you already have the class headphones & celestial belt? Those are quite expensive & I'm not sure if they're necessary. ^^; If you remove the gold, and then some of the clutter, you have a really beautiful avatar under there. Try to show off the beauty of the items you're wearing.  I know this doesn't have any gold, but it's also A LOT cheaper than that second one you posted (that one costs over 3.5 times more). I do think that the items you were using are much better than the original, and that you both match more and you're taking advantage of item slots more effectively. Keep revising until you find a look that works. Practice makes perrrfect. C:

and it was the only belt that could show D:
as for the headphones, i actually started my avi with the headphones ahahh
like i looked in the mp and liked them C:
hmm maybe i will do the take out gold thing ahah

@Grace: You can probably tell by my avatar that simplicity is never my first priority. However i think you're adding quite a few items here that you don't need. A few of the layering feats you're attempting don't work. First, I don't think you need the coal bustier. It's not black, it's dark gray, like the gloves. Or sometimes I call it "light black." Anyway, it doesn't match the dress, nor does it layer with the cincher. So ditch it. Also, I think removing the pixie wings would make for a more streamlined look--the ever-appealing triangle shape. Then, take that mustache off your beautiful face! DD: It doesn't seem to fit with your stylish, sexy maid/waitress theme either, so I really don't get it. I still think that you don't need the belt, since the dress has white of it's own on it. Since I already suggested losing the gloves, the pair I'd suggest are the wing-ding gloves. Those things are amazing, and have a fantastic, sleek black color. They also layer under other gloves, so they can come in very handy.
@Clover: Sometimes, when you're dealing with multiple shades of a color, you need to be very careful. You didn't list faded red, for instance, but the skirt and hair don't match the other reds. And then you ought to have some dark green in the middle, to help show that you are regarding olive & emerald as two separate colors, not just mixing up your matching. I'd look for some dark gren socks, and then wear them with the santa baby leggings. And switch to the "red Leather Mini Skirt," which only cost 15 more gold, or the red tennis skirt that Grace has on her tektek. xD And then we meet one of my biggest pet peeves: you have 6 egyptian items equipped to your avatar. Why? We can only see 2 anyway. Remove all but one (or be condemned to the realm on set-avatars) and move on. :< Tektek's not on my side at the moment, so I can't show you what I mean, but I think mainly it. xP I'll try tektek again later. <3

jelly, can you make me an avatar but not from items in my inventory? I want it to be leaning on the cluster side, with several colors. it doesn't matter what hair/eye style or even what colors you use, i just want it to be less than 300k thank you(:

I know this sounds contrary to most, but I'm not a fan of tektek. D: I made one, but I don't know if it'll layer, & it has less than 20 items. *cry* For that, though, I think it came out all right. xD
