The chef shook his head. "No, you're not," he said. He sighed. "Milady, I know this isn't what you want to hear, but you will have to get used to them fighting. They have always fought like that. And they always will. Because they're vampires, they're prone to fighting more... violently and surviving, and dealing, a lot more damage."

Elizabeth's gaze went over to the door as she listened to the chef's words. "Thats why I dislike vampires so much." Fighting, violence, blood, thats what vampires were only for wasn't it? They even fight with family, which happens to almost everyone, but nothing like this. Thats why humans thought of vampires as monsters, cause they really were. And if they weren't monsters, then she is going to need a lot of proof otherwise.

The chef smiled weakly. "You will get used to it," he told her. "Hopefully they'll calm down after Theo becomes king." Though he highly doubted it. Donovan was not going to take that sitting down.

Elizabeth flinched slightly at the chef's words. She sighed. At least after the wedding she wouldn't have to do much with the brothers, which she was thankful for. "Is there another exit out of here other than the death door?" she asked motioning to the kitchen door that lead out to the fighting brothers.

Just then, the chef noticed it was silent. Well, silent save for the sound of food cooking and dishes being moved. The brothers had either stopped or moved on. "Uh, yes," the chef said, turning to look over at a door in the corner of the room. It was hidden in shadows. "That door leads out to the garden so you would have to walk around to either the front or back doors to reenter."

Elizabeth found herself smiling at the mention of a garden. She always loved gardens. "Thank you." she said going straight to the door and went out to the lush garden. It smelled wonderful outside. She inhaled deeply and exhaled with a sigh. She walked through the garden, missing the beautiful plants. She found a tree and she went over to it. She dropped her jacket down onto the ground and she climbed up the tree. She slipped onto a large branch. She laid her legs on either side of the branch as she leaned against the bark behind her, looking up at the blue sky that was dotted with white clouds. "It's so wounderful out here." she said to herself.

The chef smiled before going back to work. Outside, the night sky was clear though starting to lighten with the approaching dawn. Of course, being vampires, everything had to be done at night. The palace workers were starting to get ready to retire to bed, all except the nurse who worked tirelessly on the twin males who were still glaring at each other.

Elizabeth had fallen asleep on the tree branch. The heat of the sun beating down on her face startled her awake. She yawned and looked around her, almost forgetting were she was. She shook her head and climbed down the tree. She grabbed her jacket and walked up to the front door that was opened by a servent she guessed. She instantly walked up the stairs and to her room. She closed the door and let her jacket fall from her hands. She ripped her boots off and then her pants, leaving everything else on. She climbed up on the bed and ripped the covers up and over her body. The sheets fell gently onto her body, framing it. She laid on her stomach, placing her face away from the curtained window. She then tried to fall back asleep.

By the time she was in bed, so was the rest of the palace. Everything had shut down and all was silent. There was no sound of footsteps, no quiet conversations, nothing. The sun rose over the horizon, bathing the world in its golden light of dawn. Theo was fast asleep in his chambers, windows closed tightly and curtains drawn, both sets of them. His jaw was tied shut and in place while he was covered in bandages.

After what she thought was only just a few hours of sleep she woke up. She glanced at the clock, noticing that she had slept most of the day. It was 6:42pm in the day. She was very surprised at the time. She got up and went to the bathroom to bath and such. She returned to her room and dressed a a simply black grown that fell and dragged a little on the ground, covering her feet. She put her slightly still wet her into a clip. She then left her room and walked down the stairs to the kitchen. Sleeping all day made her hungry. She woundered if the cooks were awake by now or not.
((I coundn't think of anyother way to pass the time so I just made her sleep alot. ^^))

When Elizabeth arrived at the kitchen, the cooks were not the only ones in there. Theo was in there, leaning against a counter, casually taking a sip from a wine glass. Of course, it did not hold red wine, but something much thicker, darker and more nutritious. He glanced over at her, his jaw still tied in place but no longer tied shut. He had a bandage wrapped around his forehead and had stitches along the long cut going down the side of his face.

Elizabeth stopped at the entrance and stared a Theo's wounds for a moment. "Shesh, you look horrible." she said as she finally broke her trance from staring at him. She looked at the cooks and then around the kitchen, not really hungry any more suddenly.

Theo glared at her. "You know, I could have just let Donovan do what he wanted with you," he hissed. "I didn't have to fight him." He wasn't completely as horrible as she might have thought. He didn't fight his brother for no reason.

Elizabeth flinched at his harsh words. She glared at him angerly. "Well that would have been fine with me. At least I would be away from you!" she then turned and slamed the door opened and speed walked a few feet before she stopped and leaned against the wall, tears threating to fall. 'Why am I crying!' she yelled at herself in her head as she wipped harshly at her eyes.

Theo let out an angry snarl and downed the rest of his drink. Stupid woman, he thought. Can't even be grateful that I saved her neck, literally. Fine. Next time, I'll let Donovan have at her. That'll teach her. ((g2g))
