I was looking at the event page and I noticed that the Overseer's true form is nothing more than an astral projection emitted by the clam that has taken over Gino's body but I think anyone would have noticed that xD And it got me thinking... the sacrificial missions might have another goal other than providing power to our weapon. Maybe some of the power is also used to get the Overseer's body back to normal.
