rose smiled even wider."it's been a while that i seen our race,all i been running into were hunters."rose as she felt spirit nudge her,rose petted his muzzle,and spirit walked to kimi.

Hiskue sighed and unconsiously ran his hand over one of his bigger scars, "Yea hunters are a real problem, I've had more than a few run-ins with them myself."

"yeah hats how i met spiritwalker he was injured by hunters."rose saw that spirit walked to kimi."i think spirit likes kimi maybe cause she's female."rose looked at hiskue and she was staring at his body,little bit of red showed up on her cheeks.

Hiskue looked up at the sky again, "You where lucky to have someone with you, I always had to take care of myself, and everytime I always thought that was it, that would be the day I died. When I met Kimi over there I swore to protect her from ever having to feel like that."

"oh thats kind of sweet of you to do that."rose turned to the water,she looked at her reflection."will i very find someone to protect me and maybe love me."she said in her mind.

Hiskue turned his gaze toward Kimi, "Look at her, she's so sweet and innocent, it would be a shame for a hunter to take that away from her. In a way I kinda envy her, and I'll miss her when I move on in a few weeks. I never stay in one area to long, I like to keep on the move."

rose looked at hiskue."so your like me then,always on the move."rose looked at spirit and whistled for him to come back.spirit turned and troted back to rose,he glared at hiskue and grabbed his tail.

Hiskue yelped in suprise as his tail was grabbed and tugged it out of Spirits grasp, "Is that a good thing or not?" he asked Rose, then continued "It's a hard life but it's safer than setting up a permanent home."

"thats spirit's way that's he's warming up to you."rose reached for hiskue tail and looked at it."hmm well he pulled out some of the fur so ,yeah that's not a good sign hiskue."rose looked to see that spirit was glaring at him."spirit don't even think about it."rose said as she petted hiskue's tail fur down and let go of it.

A chill ran down Hiskue's spine as Rose pet his tail, "Umm...whats he thinking of doing? Nothing painful I hope..."

"he was going to pull your tail again."rose said as she took out a brush from a small brown bag she had,she handed to hiskue."how bout you brush him,he'll love it and maybe he'll warm up to you."rose smiled.

"Ah...well I like to keep my tail intact and fluffy so sure." Hiskue stepped out of the river and cautiously began to brush Spirit. "Like this?" He asked Rose.

"yeah thats it"rose smiled and dig into the bag,she brought out some oats and fed them to spirit.after spirit finished the oats he shook his head.he turn his neck and nudged hiskue.
