"Yeah well Poe is famous for his stories." She said smiling glad that she could intrest him in a book. She pulled out another paper and set the book down, pulling out another book and sketching wildly again. This time it was just a random picture, not from a story.

"He did stories too?" That had surprised him, he only thought that Edgar had done poems. "Well, cool. I'll have to check some out, sometime." Seeing that she was starting to sketch again, he let her be. Going back to his own book, he began to read the last chapter for the day.

Doll had finished her story and then looked down at the picture confused. It looked so familiar... but why?

Glancing back up at her from the last short chapter, he noticed the confusion on her face. What was wrong? Did she draw something different than she thought she would draw? Finishing the last few pages, he closed the book and set it down in an empty spot on the table. Taking hold of another book, he stopped. "Are you alright?"

"I don't know..." she said still staring at the drawing. It was of a white, dead tree in the middle of the flourishing forest. There was a small girl stading at the base, frozen with shock as she stared at the tree.

"Oh." Well what else could he say? "Well.. It looks amazing." He guessed would be appropriate. Thinking quietly, he added one last thing. "I hope you figure out what wrong." How could he help her if he didn't know what was wrong?

Doll put the picture down. "I usually draw things that I think I remember but it's all just poppycock." she said shrugging.

Lysander tried his very best to hold back a smile at the word 'poppycock' it was.. One he had never heard of, but it was obvious of what it meant in the sentence she used. "Well, maybe that's in your subconscious mind?" He pointed out, it seemed logical. Maybe the tree was dead and her mind had made it look more than that.

"The subconscious mind is a great mystery." He had read a little bit on it for one of his psychology classes his dad had made him take. "Every dream comes from your subconscious, it's trying to tell you something that you may not be paying any mind to while you're conscious. Which is why it's good to keep a journal of your dreams.." Noticing that he had been going on a little bit to much about it, he laughed quietly, but nervously. "That's if you want to.."

Lysander frowned, looking at her sadly. She had lost her memory? "Well then, all I can do is help you then." He couldn't just not help her? That would be the rudest thing to do. "I've got some friends who would probably like to help you too." He smiled, knowing Phoebe and Meggie would jump into something like this. "But first, before we get to far ahead. You should do that, to give us something to go off of. Start writing your dreams down, maybe you'll have a dream about a place that we can start off looking at." For some reason, he felt like he needed to do this. "I mean, that is if you want to."

"Well I still do have a suitcase full of my art work. I mostly draw a part of my dream or a random picture I drew that seems strange everytime I look at it." She said looking down at her backpack then back up at him. "I also have some strange things I found in my stuff."

"Some strange things? Hm.." Thinking, he put his book down onto the table that he had been holding onto. "Would you rather do this in my room?" In fact maybe Jade would want to help too. "I've got a friend in there who might be of great help too."
