✗ Kari tightened her grip, trying to think of a way out; any way out that they could get. And then she heard a voice, making her heart stop just as Xenmas' had. She turned her head, not able to see anything but knowing who it was just by the tone.


✗ Immediantly she shook her head, vigorously moving it from side to side while she tightened her hand around Sora's arm, closing her eyes as she kept tyring to think of a plan. "Kari? What's the matter?"


✗ She began to panic, her eyes locking onto Sora's; how blue they were, just like Roxas'. What would happen if he was do dissapear? Would Roxas still be alive? "No," Sora had looked directly at her, trying to distinguish her words into a good sentence. "Huh? Kari?" His looks became puzzled but she wasn't questioning anything at all anymore. If Sora dissapeared then so might Roxas, and that was a chance she couldn't take. Kari threw herself at him, clamping on tightly as she wrapped her arms around his torso. "I'm not leaving without Sora! He's important too me!"

✗ Everything went dark and their bodies sort of rose, Kari trying to keep her arms still wrapped around Sora but loosing her own grip somehow. Kari bit her bottom lip, contorting them as she became embarrassed and uncomfortable. She was going to say something, her head turning a bit behind her trying to see something that was there, but nothing came out and she was dropped on the floor with everybody else.


✗ They stood there collectively, although a little far out they were on the steps of the borrough. "Wah! What happened?" Donald's quacks broke her out of her state, her eyes focusing to reality. Sora stood facing the front door of the borrough, rubbing the back of his head while his keyblade dissapeared, turning around slighlty to look back at Kari. For a minute she looked at him, puzzled by his deamenor, but then she remembered what she said and that he probably took it in the wrong context. She just huffed out air, turning her face to the other side and looking at the pavement street.


✗ "Gawrsh, how did we get here?" Goofy scratched his own head, his usual slouch taking place as he looked around. "We should go back," Sora had turned around, facing the three that stood behind him with his fists on his hips before he transfered them into an arm cross. "No." Kari looked back at them, quickly, her eyebrows changing from worry to a fierce sort of look. Sora's own eyebrows raised in curiosity, before he let out a small sigh and put his chin in his hand; closing his eyes and nodding. "Yeah, maybe we shouldn't. But we're going to have to, there is something going on there just like Cid said; and we have to put a stop to it."

They had gathered in Merlin's borrough, sitting around in chairs that he had poofed up. Everyone's face became serious, and the topic was the castle, the Organization and the overall town. They all questioned the Organization's motives, planning up what to do and discussing it.
"Kari says we shouldn't go back," the group looked up at Sora's response, zeroing in on her. Her cheeks became rougue, looking up and waving her hands in the air. "N-No! I just...the whole Organization is there. I don't think rushing in would be good," their gazes directed elsewhere. Leon was the next to speak up, his voice deep and brooding - authorative. "We're just going to have to keep a watch on them, and the town. Sora, you should still check it out; but be secretive. You can't let them know you're there." From her peripheral, Kari could see Sora give a swift nod, making her stomach churn. At that moment she wondered if it would have been better to join the Organization, maybe help give Sora and his friends an advantage on information. But now she was useless.

"I suggest that you stock up on some items, just incase." He stood up, pushing himself out of the circle before he walked out of Merlin's home; which made Yuffie stand up and follow suit.
Merlin adjusted his glasses, nodding at Leon's suggestion. "Yes, I agree. Here, I'll give you somet things as well." He also got out of the circle, going over to his bedding area and rooting for something. Cid sat there, nodding his head while his arms were crossed, eyes closed and thinking. "Yea', you should probably do it now; at night. They're not thinking anything, splitting up in groups would help a lot too."

Kari nodded, taking in the information like a sponge, while she looked around at her 'teammates'. Who would work best to protect Sora?
"Alright, let's get going then." Sora stood up, putting his own hands behind his head while his friends got up too.
Kari swallowed, standing up and holding her hands to her chest while her cheeks became pink and they all began to walk out of the borrough. Leon was no where insight, but Sora just shrugged it off and went to the plaza; stalking up on something and upgrading others.

Kari stood there and watched, thinking about the town and how much the people realied on Sora and his friends to save the day; while the Organization tried to bring it down.
"Ok, we're ready to go now." Kari snapped back to focus, looking at Sora and then at the sky. The colors were grey and black, clouds covering up most of everything and letting the moon peak-a-boo out of its covers.
She swallowed and nodded again, tightening her backpacks straps closer to her shoulders - and then they began their treck.

The castle was large, looming and scary; especially in the night of a half covered moon. And they were just barely entering in it, keeping their steps as quiet as they could. Donald had been instructed not to talk no matter what, Goofy wasn't allowed to be clumsy, and Kari was supposed to stay in the middle.
They made it to the lobby, looking around no one was there right now. "Alright, Donald, you go with Kari and I'll go with Goofy." Everyone nodded, Kari grabbing Donald's feathery hand and dragging him off before he could start his sqwaking.

They took the upper stairs, being quiet and sluething around. Donald would press his ear on a door, listen and then give the Ok. Together they would creak in, their guards up and weapons ready. The first room was empty, nothing in it but the paint on the walls and a large bay window.

Donald and Kari went in the room anyways, she making her way to the window and pressing herself up against it while Donald just turned his head around. "There's nothing in this room," Kari ignored him, pressing her palms against the window whle the floor squeaked beneath her weight.
"Yeah, I guess we should keep looking for something right?" Kari moved her eyes to the moon, hypnotized by its size and color. It was so bright even though hidden by most of the clouds. "Donald?"

She turned around, jumping at seeing Roxas while her cheeks turned red from his scolding; but she scolded right back. "I had to come back! Sora and everyone needed my help; and they're going to bring down the Organization." She didn't realize how riled up she had gotten, her fists clenching just a bit while she had stepped forward and snatched Donald up by his feathery arm.
"Yeah!" He squawked up, rifling up his feathers while he had pulled his staff out and pointed it at Roxas.

"And--" Her body stopped moving, the floor creaking loudly beaneath her. Kari shook away the thought, clinging to Donald still while she moved a bit again. "A--" The floor gave-away, leaving a medium sized hole where her and Donald stood as they fell through the floor.

"Ugh! Donald get off me!" Kari coughed, trying to move before she felt Roxas lift her up off the floor. She rubbed her face, brushing her hands through her bangs really quickly. "Yeah, I'm fine." Her cheeks turned red at their close proximity before she turned her head over and looked at Donald, seperating herself from Roxas to pick him up.

Donald coughed too, scowling at Roxas before her crossed his arms and looked at Kari. "We better go check on Sora, he might have heard the crash." She nodded her cheeks still pink a bit, as Donald waddled off, storming out the room they fell through.
With a sigh she checked herself, fixing her shoes and hair before looking back at Roxas. "Who's here and...and you have to tell me what the Organization's up too."

Kari sighed, puffing up her cheeks while she listened to him explain where the other members were. Going to see Sora would be a good idea, so she could fill him in on the information. But when Roxas started talking about himself she put up a hand, closing her eyes and sighing.
"You should just stay out of it and keep going along with the Organization." She put her hand down, stepping over some rubble as she made her way to the doorway and walked out; looking for Donald who seemed to be long gone.

"Donald!" She hissed his name out loudly, starting to walk down the hallway and trying to make it back to the lobby where he might have gone.

Kari ran through at least a quarter of the castle, before making it to a small hallway where everyone was. She panted, closing her fist and bopping Donald on the head. "You left me!" She hissed out her words, Sora putting one single finger to his lips and shushing out his own. "Donald told me what happened, are you with the Organization?" Kari's cheeks turned red as she cringed, shaking her head immediantly. "N-No. But we better do something fast, he told me that Xenmas, Axel and Xigabar are here."

She crouched down onto the same level as they were, huddling together as they whispered; but Sora still kept his eyes out. "Cid just wants us to find out what they're planning, so Kari you should look around for something. They must have a computer here right? Or at least some written plans." He put his fingers on his chin, still bent down while he thought a bit. "Goofy will go with you, I'll need Donalds magic to back me up. I'm sure we could lead them to the lobby if we made enough noise, so you too should go now." Goofy and Kari gave a curt nod, looking at each other to confirm their teamwork before looking back at Sora.
"If there were any plans they'd most likely be with Xenmas, but I doubt they'd be here." Sora shook his head, still in thought. "It's better to be save than sorry, right?"

They all stood up, Kari and Goofy spllitting up and heading back upstairs while Sora and Donald went to the front entrance. "Alright, we're going to have to attract as much attention as we can. So we'll need some of your thunder." Donald nodded, fireing himself up as he stabbed his staff in the air and whipped out some magic. "Thundra!"

Kari and Goofy had crept up to the second floor, a door opening which had made her stop and Goofy pull her back. Together their backs were pressed against a side wall, Kari peaking over to make sure they were gone before rushing in a minute later.
The room was clean, as she thought it would be, but if they scowered around they might find something; or not.

They looked around where Xenmas sat, flipping things over and putting them back before the duo both stood up - looking at each other and shaking their heads. Their effort was a lose, nothing was there.
With that they ran back where they came from, jumping down the hole her and Donald created to get back to Sora and Donald.
But they could see that they were in the midst of battle, Kari pressing herself against the wall to make sure not to be seen by Xenmas while Goofy just jumped out there. Sora's eyes darted to Goofy, seeing his sullen expression and taking it as a hint; he let his keyblade go. "Just checking up on you, but we have everything we need now."
The trio still stood forward, slowly stepping back as Kari squirmed, going into a room on the side and opening a window to sneak out of instead of being seen.
