Yeah your telling me, and like I said it is a really good series as far as I'm concerned. But have you read the Han Solo trilogy?

Yeah they are, they go all the way back to when Han was a kid, there are only three books and the final book ends with Han meeting Luke and Obi-wan.

Can anyone recommend any good ones? I know the post empire strikes back books are pretty bad.

Thrawn Trilogy, starting with Heir to the Empire. my favorite book series, it's also what sparked the interest in Expanded Universe. We probably wouldn't have half of these books without this series. I'd suggest trying it.
