Amara looked at Demios hugging him back and smiled. "You know I'm not going to die anytime soon" she said to him. She then heard the noise and looked at him with a sigh. "I'm guessing that means it's time to head out" she said with him. "I'm ready when you are " she said with a smile. "but first rest for a second you don't want to die of exhaustion" she said.

Demios nodded and did as asked. He took a moment to compose himself. He walked to his room and frowned. On his table sat a deck of Tarot cards. He quickly layed out a basic reading and frowned. The card of death sat on the space for his future. He shook his head ignoring it before walking out of his room and walked up to Amara "Alright lets go" He said as they stepped out into the night. He didn't want to worry her with his reading so he decided not to tell her about it.

Amara looked over to Demios as they began to walk towards the mountains. She said nothing as she knew something was bothering Demios but she tried not to pry his mind with her abilities. "Demios...what's wrong" she asked as they were at the base of the mountain as she looked upwards, it was going to be a journey and who knew what lied at the end.

Demios turned to Amara and frowned although he tried to hide his worry he knew Amara would pick up on it. "I'm just scared thats all...I guess every time we face something new I'm afraid that one of us wont make it back" He said. He looked to the path ahead "I fear what would happen if you were to get hurt and not be able to recover like you did last time" He said.

Amara listened to Demios as he spoke. The mountain air was fresh and crisp, taking it in was relaxing. "You know that's life though Demios...it's a cycle...we're born, live, die,....rebirth" she said referring to herself. Running her fingers through her hair she looked over him. "Just make sure we cover each other...that's all" she told him with a smile.

Demios looked at her and smiled he was glad to see her optimism even when things seemed dark. He nodded in agreement he had lost her once and didn't plan on it happening again. He looked to the sky again. "Do you remember so long ago when I said that poem...do think it's true about the two beings of light and dark?" He asked.

Amara looked at Demios and nodded. "Yes I do remember" she said having a flashback of what had happened. When he asked his question she shrugged. "I mean it's possible...I do have these new powers...and one of it seems to be fire...so..." she said trailing off as she began to climb up a ledge of the mountain.

Demios looked at Amara and smiled although what she said worried him. He didn't want to think that it was a cosmic entity that saved her life. He shook his head deciding to brush the thoughts aside. He looked ahead and in the distance saw the temple "There it is...be on your guard you never know if it saw us coming" He said.

Amara nodded as they reached the summit of the mountain. They had climbed a high altitude as the air was thing and brisk. Looking around she saw the temple in the distance. "Searching" for a presence it was kind of hard to read. "Do you want to go in first or shall I?" she asked Demios.

Demios looked at Amara and frowned he defiantly didn't want to send her in first. He then nodded "I'll go first" He said. He then walked towards the temple. "Be careful" He said as he neared the temple.

Amara followed behind Demios. To be honest she was kind of nervous but didn't let it show. As they entered the temple she then activated her pyrokinesis illuminating it slightly for them to be able to see. It was damp and cool inside. She then moved to the side of Demios to offer comfort to him by that. She kept her mind defensive as to fight.

Demios held Amara close as they walked. Something didn't seemed right about the place. "It's quiet" He said. He looked down and picked up a loose rock. He then threw it across the long hall. It made a clattering sound as it hit the floor and bounced. "I don't like it I think we're being toyed with" He said. There were statues throughout the hall most of which were of birds and humans and some were even a mixture. The statue's eyes seemed to glare at them as they walked.

Amara nodded. "I"m sure we'll be fine" she told him as they continued to make their way through the long and dark corridors. She looked at the statues and shook the eerie feeling off. They soon came to an opening as she looked at Demios. "Maybe its here" she said lowly.

Demios looked at her and gave her a small attempt at a reassuring smile. Once they stepped into the opening Demios realized it was the alter room. Suddenly the room glowed an eerie purple color. "Who dares enter my domain!" A dark voice rang. Demios frowned but raised his fists. Suddenly a dark laugh could be herd "Two people...they sent two measly people to face me" He said. Demios frowned but focused "We're here to put an end to your chaos" He said. He held his hand out making a bow like gesture "Holy Shooter!" He said as he pulled one of his hands back and fired a bright arrow. The attack hit the area the voice came from, but from the looks of things it had little effect. "Is that the best you got let me show you what I can do" The voice said. Suddenly four large purple lightning bolts flew at them. "Amara watch out" He yelled as he dove and tackled her out of the way.(Sorry it took so long to post sweatdrop )

When she was tackled she looked at Demios. "I'm alright" she said as she squeented her eyes, creating telekinetic pressure causing a shockwave explosion towards the beast. Kissing her hand, she activated her cryokinesis causing the air around the beast to freeze as ice began to form.
