maybe its time to add a poll, if only one character would be added, who would be the most, and just list our current top 10.
my money is on megaman winning, a true blue nintendo original, he left for sony once, but he came back, he ALWAYS comes back.
though now hes kind of a whore since hes on XBL

Matthew didn't give me a "Hero" Feeling. I'd prefer Sveta over him. Oh and I know Isaac is in brawl, as an assist trophy right? That makes him all the more likely an idea for a character.

Alright, let me actually come up with a list of characters I want to see.
Knuckles (Sonic)
Isaac (Golden Sun)
Travis Touchdown (No More Heroes)
Jack (Madworld)
Lloyd (Tales of Symphonia)
Well, there's a bunch of others, but I think those are the ones I want to see the most. I don't think I'm demanding too much. >>

Personally I'd like to see some characters from Brawl taken out for redundancy (my opinion, of course), such as Wolf and Diddy Kong; I'd also take out R.O.B. and probably Olimar, not necessarily though. Again, personally I didn't find King DeDeDe necessary for another kirby character, and I didn't like the addition of Mr. Game & Watch in the first place. And we have to admit, Lucas IS a clone of Ness.
Sounds like a lot of complaining but basically just make less characters that are better instead of a bunch of crappy ones; that said I think that Sonic and Pit should be ever so slightly more powerful although they're supposed to be balanced.
I love the idea of adding in Isaac from Golden Sun as well; Chrono and/or another character from Chrono Trigger; it would be amazing/amazingly controversial to be able to put in some sort of Final Fantasy character, whether just a class or an actual character. I'd love to see megaman as well, with a Zero costume option. It would be pretty cool to see an Okami character! I could pass most of those up though, being mostly 3rd party.
I could think of a few more I'm sure, but like I said less amount, higher quality. What I'd most like to see is some items taken out (Smash balls being no. 1, probably Golden Hammers and some useless items too) and the pokemon from pokeballs actually do something tangible. That way the game could go back to a skill focused style instead of all this "let's make it easy for everyone" stuff. My opinion smile
