Siren notcied his grip tightened and looked up at him, seeing his expression turning distant.
"What are you thinking about" she asked softly looking up at him, worry in her eyes.

Draco shook his head slightly and looked down at her "Nothing you need to worry about..." He sighed slightly when he looked up at the school clock tower and saw the time "We should probably start heading back inside..."

Siren looekd at the clock and then nodded in agreement.
"yeah your right " she sighed, she tried to hide the worry from her face and did, pushing it to the back of her mind but a part of her was still worried.

Draco sighed slightly and dropped his arm from her shoulders and turned slightly "Come on then..." He started walking, keeping his strides small so she could keep up.

She nodded and walked beside him, she knew he was walking slower so she could keep up and was greatful for that but her mind was else where, deep in thought but she could have sworn she just heard something or someone back at the lake. She shook it off, thinking she was just being paranoid as she walked.

Draco frowned slightly when he heard a light ripple in the lake water.Keeping silent about it he continued walking, then reaching the main entrance, he opened the door for her to enter first.He kept his eyes on the lake, watching for any sign of movement.

Siren heard it again, the same noise except this time whatever it was, was in the lake. She walked in, as Draco held the door for her tryign to think what it could be . The shadow darted across the shore, disappearing into the depths of the lake from where it came.

Draco frowned slightly "Siren...You head on back to the dorm...I wanna check something out, okay?" He Kept his eyes on the area where the shadow jumped back into the lake.

Siren nodded hesitantly. She hoped he was'nt going go to see what it was back at the lake but she knew thats exactly where he was going. She sighed slightly
"ok...see you later" she said and turned wlaking back toward the dorm, worrying.

Draco nodded and smiled slightly "Don't worry.I'll be careful." He closed the door quietly and started walking back towards the lake, his hand already in his pocket, gripping his wand lightly.

Siren entered the commone room and went to her room from there. She took off the coat and also the boots. She sat on the edge of her bed, thinking for a few moments before lying down and pulling the covers over herself. The water's surface rippled slightly though nothing could be seen as its surface was as dark as oil. though something did linger under its surface, deep within the depths of the lake.

Draco stopped at the edge of the lake, his wand at his side.Watching the water he muttered quietly "I know your there...There's no point in hiding from me.."

The water's surface began to stir though nothing came forth until everything went silent. Even the wind seemed to stop and a new chill creeped into the air. Something then burst from the lake with a large splash but instead of darting for him, it stood on the surface of the water as if it were solid. Thoguh the shape of the creature was translucent and hazy it was very much real. It watched Draco intently.

Draco looked at the creature and raised an eyebrow slightly "What the bloody hell are you supposed to be?"

It said nothing but began to solidify, turning black. The large cape like thing shrouded it, no legs and a hood now covered its face. It was still silent but the water now really did ice over. The creature was a Demonter.
