Sara blushed lightly when he took her finger into his mouth, "I see..." she watched him as he took care of her cut. She looked away for a moment, "Um...thank you. And what do you mean by a lot can be told from blood? What can you tell from mine?"

He removed her finger from his mouth and it was almost done bleeding. "Well a lot of it are things that I already know but from it, it is easy to tell that you are a witch. Also you can tell parts of a persons personality from it. You are sweet, caring, and always there for people...a strange person but not a bad one." He laughed lightly and smiled at her. "So in general you are the nicest person I have even met."

Sara blushed at the comment, before her expression saddened a little at him, "I see...well, so far I haven't proven to be nice to you, after all, I took you from your home..." she brought her hand back and her finger was already starting to heal, "I am sorry..." she then returned to her cooking and she finished chopping up the vegetables before putting them in a pot, "You are the one who is nice...You're always helping me when you should hate me..."

Nick gave her a at on the back. "Don't worry about it, that place was a pit anyway." He laughed at his terrible pun. "So don't worry, your world is a lot nicer when people aren't asking you to blow up this, or take that, or kill him." He smiled at her and his tone changed, it was really out of character, it was soft and kind. "All in all, you did the nicest thing anyone could do for me, you gave me a new perspective." He showed a soft smile, odd for a demon, it was almost like he was human. Then after showing his soft side he went back and plopped down on the bed.

Sara looked back at him as he patted her back, "It's so strange...I mean, you are a demon. You act almost human...I know that I shouldn't judge on who you are, I mean, most witches are thought to be evil as well, but, demons normally aren't like you. And it makes me wonder why you were even considered a threat in the first place. You are too nice to want to cause destruction..."

Nick smiled at her and puffed out a small fireball again. "Well I was taught that we demons were made not to torture but to punish, to lead those who feel from the path back onto it. The devil never wanted that." He smiled at her calling him nice. "Thank you for the complement but it is still probably as you said, it is because I wanted to take over hell." He laid on his stomach and watched her. "It is all because of my upbringing, my mother actually wasn't a demon."

Sara nodded as he spoke, "I see...I do suppose he wouldn't like that..." she then looked over at him and blinked, "Your Mother wasn't a demon? So, you aren't a full demon either. You are quite large for someone who isn't a full demon in your true form. Or..." her skin paled a bit, "Are full demons even larger?"

Nick laughed and shook his head. "No no no, I am the biggest...it's because my mother was an elder dragon." He smiled and looked at her. "It is all my mother's blood that made me so big." He talked like he was proud to say that. "If the devil didn't always watch me in hell I would be able to stomp on him, I am colossal compared to almost all demons." He winked at her and laughed a little at her being pale.

Sara nodded as she cooked and listened to him speak about his mother, "Well, that is a little relieving...I don't think I could handle a larger demon," she started stirring up the stew she was making, "I don't remember my Mother or Father. I was left here in the forest as a baby and became bonded to it."

Nick nodded as she said she didn't remember her Mother or Father. "Well you have me now, at least, I may not be much but I will try to be as good as I can." The rain was picking up and thunder crashed and Nick jumped under the bed. "What did I do to anger god?" This was not too strange, the only times he had heard thunder was from demons and the angels so it is kind of terrifying to think that god might be trying to kill him.

Sara nodded as he spoke, but when she heard the thunder crash, she flinched when he jumped under the bed. She didn't like storms. Every now and then, lightning would strike one of her trees and it hurt her every time. She looked over at him and bent over to see him, "It's fine, you didn't do anything wrong," she reached out her hand to him giving him a gentle smile, "Come on out, I'll protect you from the storm."

Nick smiled softly, still shaking, it was kind of odd, seeing an archdemon terrified like that. "Thank you." He crawled out from under the bed and took her hand but when the thunder crashed again he jumped and wrapped his arms around her tightly. He held his head right next to hers thinking he was going to get struck. "I'm s-sorry, this is dishonorable for me to act this way but I can't help it."

Sara blushed deeply when he jumped and wrapped his arms around her. Her own arms wrapped around him holding him to her, "It's okay. It won't hurt you so long as you are inside my home. No lightning will strike inside here," she looked at him with soft eyes, "It's okay to be scared sometimes..."

Nick sighed and looked at her, he was blushing but it was hard to tell if it was from embarrassment or because he liked her. "Thank you but for an archdemon, I can't be scared, imagine how it would look to see a demon like me scared or something, it shows weakness, the one thing you avoid in hell." He was still holding onto her pretty tight but his head had gotten close to hers. He wanted to kiss her for being nice to her but he thought it may not be the best time.

Sara's eyes softened as he spoke, "But everyone fears something. And you shouldn't worry about showing your fear around me, I won't tell anyone," she spoke softly to him while her hand stroked his head gently. She held him close to her, "The storm will pass soon. If it makes you feel better, I have many fears. I may not fear the storm, just what it does to trees. My greatest fear is fire."
