Night grinned as he swung Tybalt and his joined hands, looking around. Man look at the stacks of books. LOOK AT ALL THE PLACES HE COULD CLIMB.

"What no, we're getting split off into groups! Might as well stick with me pup, I don't know anyone else around here." Nope, except Jericho. That was cause they had been in the same DREAM. he wondered if the dragon remembered him?

Amphi had been to the library a lot, it was one of her fave places. Somewhere along the walk, she had lost False and instead saw Avery.
And much like Selene, Amphi had held the small Avery minipet form for a long time. it's why he was one of her favorite people.
"MISTER AVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY." Amphi held her arms out as he came right towards her, herded there by the snake teacher.

Stumbling through the portal, the wolf ghoul looked up to find herself in.... the library. Course she'd never been here before, so she could only assume, but still. Lots of books, one could make a fair assumption that it was indeed the library. But why where they here? She caught the tail end of the conversation of how students didn't have permission to come through the portal and her ears flattened slightly. Just got here and already in trouble, greeeeeat. However, their teacher was able to step in and resolve that. And just as quickly as that relief washed over her, it disappeared as they were told to group up, choose a book and research. How was she going to 'chose a group' when she.... didn't really know anyone. Huh.
The werewolf pondered what to do as she glanced around at the different boils and ghouls, looking for someone to group with. Last thing she wanted to do was get the teacher angry again. Snake bites were painful and she didn't relish the thought at all. It seemed best to let the teacher stay in her happy place.

The roc sighed with relief as Andrew quickly decided she would be in his group. He also called over to AJ. Fiona smiled and gave a small wave to the boil. "Ok so what book do you think we should pick?" Fiona asked brightly and glanced at the quickly retreating form of the librarian. "We could always ask for suggestions?" The roc quickly began scanning for titles running her fingers lightly over book spines.

Selene said that she wanted them to work in a group. Hmm...
Kettil pretty much looked toward the grouping he'd been hanging around with since class started and just beamed a large smile, "Partners?"
Needless to say he was probably going to follow them around regardless, but he doubted there would be any real issue since there was really no animosity amongst them. They had pleasant conversations and there was a good vibe! Maybe they would work well together. Quote: 1 Opening left if you want in. The catboil tilted his head toward the professor as she showed up and then announced they would be making groups. He gazed questioningly at Ren and then at the other figure called 'Demi' that he had been speaking with. "Hmm? Groupings?"

 "Psst." A purpled hair man, standing off to the side ushered the boil over to where he stood, careful as to not alert others of his presence.

Selene hadn't realized that Avery paused to give someone a detention slip. She hadn't realized that Amphi stood on the other end, causing Avery to be caught between a snake and a hard mermaid. So when she realized she was about to run into the librarian, she slammed right into him, her nose smushing hard against his shoulder. Her arms had still been held out, but they straightened in surprise, and she went rigid, falling like a wooden board backwards. Sufficed to say, it was not the kind of interaction she was expecting.

"Rex" was really hoping he could just find a quiet spot and make himself scarce for a bit. Reading was really boring, even when it was in the library of a perceived enemy. He sidled as incognito as he could away from the bulk of the group and flopped dismally into one of the reading chairs. He had been hoping for a fun little outing rather than an actual class with books and words.
The golem was looking pretty frazzled by this point, and he swept some of the dust off the feathered cloak with a curl of his ********' books." he hissed.

Research? Em, he loves to get more knowledges, but he was afraid he might fall asleep when reading it, no guarantee. " W-What do you mean you are mine?.....Oh! Grouping! S-Sure!" AJ startled a bit when Andrew "claimed" him and then gave a normal smile after realized he was talking about the grouping. " Hiya Fiona, you attend this funny class, too?" There was a short question as a greeting to the Roc. " Excuse me, I will be back in a few minutes" The serpent-dragon boil ran off somewhere else. Seeing how interesting Avery was being surrounded, AJ decided to join. " Hello Sir, your voice sounds so familiar to me, have we meet somewhere before?" There came another wall-like obstacle for the poor Avery. Then, accident happened. " Do you need help?"

Amphi's arms stayed outstretched even if Avery was coming at full speed. And then he was in her arms and she realized that this was not the same adorable little pom but a MAN.
A LARGER MAN THAN HER.
A LARGER STRONGER MAN WHO JUST WHEELED RIGHT INTO HER. And she barely registered the ground with her butt till she was looking up at Avery who had Selene crushed right behind him.
............ Q A Q...........
"I'M SORRY MISTER AVERY AND MISS SELENEEEEEEEE." The mermaid flushed and wiped little droplet of tears away. WHERE WAS HER CUTE ADORABLE LITTLE AVERY!!?!!?

A curious question indeed. There were several ideas that came to Olivia's mind about what they could be doing in the library; some as simple as reading and others as building natural form sculptures out of the books (she was honestly hoping for that one a bit, especially since they had already played with crayons).
The mission became clear when Selene spoke to them again - was she eying the librarian? So, they were in the library to read a book on natural forms, well it did make sense but some of the other ideas did seem a little more exciting. And she was a slow reader herself, so it made her frown for a moment. This was going to be tough. And they had to be in a group, even more tough. The ghoul's eyes scanned the other students, all her friends scattered and unlikely to probably work in the same group. And they were already collecting together as it was.
A little awkwardly, Olivia looked up at Efflo, "would you like to make a group together?" Hopefully.

More relief took over Maple as her attentions turned to Selene. Reading. She loved reading, it was a natural process for her. And in the group, less possibility for her to screw everything up if others were involved to make everything go alright.
Maple scooted a little closer to Willow, unsure of who else would be included. Hopefully Willow knew some of the others.

Dear Jack! There were three of them now! Avery tried to skid to a halt, but it was too late. First Selene slammed into him from behind, which caused him to fall against Amphi. Suffice to say, all three of them crashed to the ground.
"I have no idea what you're talking about..." He grumbled out towards serpent dragon student, while rubbing the back of his head. Though in truth he did. As for the other two... "Its fine its fin--"
He realized this was the perfect chance to escape.

Enzo's brows raised curiously as he whirled around to face the older creature that had snuck up behind him, sending a few roaches scrambling from his pantlegs and up into the bookshelves. "Fifty seeds you say? That's pretty steep, bubs. Especially when I got no proof you got the goods." He missed his hat. This was the point he would have tipped it conspiratorially. Millie went bounding after Avery. She had no idea what was going on, but if others were playing "tacklehug" in the library of all places, she wanted in on the game too!

Until Avery got up, Selene was a squished pancake snake on the floor, hissing in distress. When he finally rose, her hands flailed, and she turned around, red as an apple in embarrassment. She could distantly hear Amphi apologizing, and Avery's gruffer voice brushing the incident off, but she felt just terrible. Selene finally pushed herself up to a sitting position, pulled her hood up tightly over her head, and hid her face within the shadows of it.
A student started to worry, and she let out a soft whine, shaking her head. She remained on the floor though.
"I'm okay. Just.. everyone.. focus on finding a good book. Please everyone, back to work.."
She reached down and pulled the layers of her wrap down over her legs completely, hiding them, and then slunk away, sliding backwards, while on the floor.
"Back to work.."
