"Ack!" he yelped out in surprise. If the shade of red in his face was best, all the water would be gone. He realized he still had to breath and surfaced quickly. He pulled himself out again, "This keeps up I'll have to grow gills!" he joked.

She smiled brightly at her friend. "You act like you don't want the attention" she said with a smile. "So tomorrow during Trigonometry hiking up to the hot springs" she said with a smile "Hope you don't mind the smell of sulfur Sai" Jenny said smiling.

Sai smiled gently and watched as the boy recived a kiss and then resurfaced. She remembered hearing her uncle say it was a form of affection, like biting someones ear or licking them in wolf society. She walked to the edge of the pool and laughed softly when the boy resurfaced.

Lance was hit hard enough by the comment that he went stiff and fell into the pool, sinking to the bottom.

Jennifer (her real name!) blushed brightly. "I should get him before he drowns" she said diving in and bring him to the surface.

When they arrived at the pool she handed him a swimsuit "here put this on in there." she pointed to the boys locker room.
As she walked to the girls locker room to change.

Fenix stood where he was, looking at the fabric she had handed him. As she hurried off, Fenix looked around, then headed into the boys locker room.
After he was changed, Fenix grabbed a towel from a rack with a sign that pleasantly invited him to take one. By now he could hear whistle blasts, laughter and what sounded like splashing. Walking outside, he blinked at the rectangular hole in the ground that was filled with water. Watching everyone play in it, Fenix stared, very confused, at everyone. The Topside is so strange... Fenix thought to himself. Walking over to some bleachers, Fenix threw his towel on a seat and sat down next to it, wondering what it was used for.
