Tails1990 Hiro looked over at Armand as he explained this solo mission of his. Fidgeting with his shot glass from the prior round of drinks from the last alcohol happy ninja who walked through the door."Very well Armand, but I want a status report every 48 hours." As the squadmate began to make a little headway on his mission, Hiro glanced around the room looking for both his allies, and potential threats."Pity I couldn't take part in this," Hiro thought thinking back to his sitiation. Although Hiro was one of two rain ninja expected to top the leaderboards, he was also a squad leader, expected to look after the genin who were taking part in the exams. Across the bar was a heated conversation developing, confidently involving X, his partner."Akkari, stay with Zatoshi," Hiro stated as he placed his shot glass on the table and made his way across the bar. As Hiro drew near the crowd began to disperse as one character caught Hiro attention, a girl (Rini) who was kinda cute in an exotic sort of sense. Glance towards her only for a second, Hiro made his way over to X, "hey buddy,everything cool over here?"Hiro asked X looking up at the crowd. They didn't appear to hold a superior amount of skill, but more as if they could hold their ground. One character in particular (Tavian) looked strikingly familiar, as if they had met somewhere before ((little humor there for ya Tavern)) ((Phone post))
((Akkari decided to stay. Though i cannot have both of my RPC's in the same place! That would be breaking a rule! So Saotome is here instead escorting a shinobi that is going to be in the exams.)) |

{{Wrong, you can have two of RPCs in one place now. Or else I would be able to only have on of my characters in the exams because both of my characters are needed within this place. =P}} |

XXXXX Armand nodded at Hiro's instructions. From here on at out, it would be only him. "I'll send clay birds." He said told him. It would have to do. As he started to leave, he gave a sort of "good luck" nod to Zatoshi, but stopped a short ways away, and pulled Akkari aside, gently by her shoulder. "Listen, you don't like me, and I'm not sure if I like you, but I know that Zatoshi is not one to listen to my advice at this point in time, but please, tell him to not do anything stupid or heroic. Make sure he knows that this is a serious matter. I've lost one brother. I'm not going to lose another one." He whispered to her, before departing the building. This was the first, and possibly only thing, he would ever say to her that would make her think that he actually had a soul. He'd survived looking out for himself, and that is how he decided, it would have to continue. But that didn't mean that he couldn't feel. He took one last look at everybody, and with an instinctive tip of the hat to Rini, he left. It would be a long, long time before he saw anybody again. At least, from his village. He made a list of goals. Find those of White. Learn some new genjutsu. And as a few near impossible goals, obtain one of the great seven swords, and learn the legendary Chidori jutsu.
Akkari wouldn't see, but Armand had slipped a note in her pocket. It was a small map. It was pin-pointed to a location in the Earth Country. The Abandoned Shack to be precise. There was also a small message on the bottom. "Whenever you're done seeing Zatoshi off, and if you don't hate me, I'd be glad to have some traveling company. Poor old me will get lonely out in the middle of nowhere." Below that, it was signed "A.T." Which was supposed to be his initials. He had hoped that Akkari would at least read the note.

Red X looked now to Hiro who had just approached him passing through the people there, and answered to him calmly "Yeah dude. Everything's alright. She just mistook me for someone is all, and Tavian is just kinda freaking out about the exams, and Kamina is being who he is. Sit down man. Have a drink. It's all on me bro." he said still with his hands on the back of his head, and his legs atop the table calmly. Rini told the name of the other man there, and Rini had practically introduced Kamina as well as herself. It was now time to chillax for Red X, and he wasn't gonna start a fight until his own fight. He knew it would be a piece of cake for someone who was even challenged by the Mizukage, and was the fastest shinobi in all of the Amegakure.

Eventually, finally, after what seemed like forever, {insert other phrase showing that a heck of a long time had passed}, Kageko had managed to calm down enough to regain control of her motor senses. With one deep breath, her eyes closed, the girl pulled her pitch black mask over the lower half of her pale white face. She never wore it very often, but the cloth mask was always on her, seeing how it was connected to the tight undershirt she wore. Kageko wore it now to help her focus. Focus led to calm, the girl had learned that little trick after becoming a chuunin and starting to teach herself. Whenever she started stressing out over a new skill, she would focus. Concentrating on the unusual feel of the cloth over her mouth and getting used to the sensation, the girl worked her jaw slightly as she opened her eyes and then stood up. Taking one more breath, Kageko slid across the wall, out of her hiding place and in front of the entrance to the cafe. The girl took yet another breath to calm her still-rocketing nerves as she silently opened the door and then slipped in.
Kageko sought to make her entrance as unnoticeable as possible. She opened the door quickly and without a noise and closed it with the same speed and volume. Then, without a pause in her movement, the girl made her way to an empty table and then sat herself down on it. Despite her calm display of movement and the calm demeanor that the mask she wore most likely gave her, Kageko was frantic. She took several sweeping glances around the room, not really taking in anything, before focusing solely on the list of fights. the girl thought after she had read through the poster. Her nervousness kept her from noticing anyone she recognized, even though Tavian was in the room. Her sweeping glances were simply attempts to take in information, even though they took in none, and as soon as she had read the poster, the girl had quietly diverted her gaze to the woodwork of the table she occupied. After studying the patterns for several moments, she rested her head on her hands and closed her eyes, looking as if she was sleeping to anyone who gazed her way.
Within Kageko, Kaminari remained quietly on standby. Unlike the kunoichi, she had managed to observe the other contestants, and had taken detailed notes on what she could analyze. However, she chose to leave the girl at peace, allowing her to rest and relax for the moment.

At Susumu's name, Rini stilled. The smile drained from her face like ice melting on concrete in the height of summer. As Kamina spoke, his adopted mother began to tremble -- not from fear but fury. Her hands curled into fists and her corrupted chakra began to roil and snap about her. In the back of her mind Jashin raged, and his wrath shone through in her eyes that seemed to gaze straight through the teen. "Susumu," she snarled. "That [censored] [censored] -- she's the one that -- bloody [censored] Uchiha. How dare she -- how dare she --" Rini's gaze suddenly sharpened, focusing on her 'son'. "Severe injuries. Pain resistance. She hurt you. Took you and did this to you -- my son -- without my permission! [censored] [censored]! I'll [censored] kill her!"
The fact that these acts were done in order to train and strengthen Kamina was lost in the maelstrom of wrath churning within Rini's chest. Killing intent seemed to roll off of her skin as she whirled and took a step as if to leave the bar -- entirely the mother bear rearing to defend her young -- apparently forgetting why she was there in the first place. She did not get far, however, as she nearly ran into perhaps the last person she expected to see. This time, the blood drained from her face. "S-Saotome!" What was he doing here? Had her father found out about her intent to take part in the exams and sent Saotome to stop her? Her eyes found Elseth, and the tension seeped from her body. No. Saotome was not there for Rini -- he was escorting the genin girl -- Rini's old student -- to the exam.
A tentative smile found its way back onto the High Priestess' face, despite Jashin's continued rant in the back of her mind. "Fancy seeing you here, Saotome, Elseth. Here for the exam?"
