Squad Two: Waltz

Katsu decided to continue some of his Great Pulse Fist training trying to learn a valuable technique Daidoumyaku – Mimi Senshi (Ear Stab) it was a strong technique that could win him a battle. He started in a dead sprint doing a series of jabs. He was trying to get a good balance for actually purposely missing an attack. His strikes were making small ripples in the air the vibrations were starting to get a little more intense than normal punches. It was pretty cool he could feel the power in them. He saw a new person appear and start talking to there substitute teacher. He laughed a bit before trying to get the jutsu right. It seemed right so he stopped, walking over to Yosei and the other guy with a small sigh.

"You think you could beat me? Now that's the true illusion."

Hachi Hagami

Hachi raised one of his eyebrow as one of the genin came running over to introduce himself. It appeared there was a hyper active one in the group, and his energy wasn't exactly rubbing off on him. "Nice to meet you." He said as he turned to him, and the other student that had made his over. "My name is Hachi, and I'll be taking over as the teacher here." He then let a slow smile smile spread across his face. "I'll try not to get you all killed.'

Yosei's energy began to fade as his new sensei spoke. The man had a strange eeriness about him that slightly disturbed the sound genin. He tried to just move past what the man had just said. "So what should we do now sensei?"

"Katsu..." He said with a slightly annoyed tone, 'Whats with this.. Sadistic.. guess this is going to be fun...' He thought with a small sigh. He gripped his key kinda tightly before turning around. "Great... Another freak... Now we have two of them..." he said mumbling under his breath.

"You think you could beat me? Now that's the true illusion."

Hachi Hagami

"Well first off I'd like to know how far your training has gone." He said and took a good look at both of the genin. "What have you two learned so far?"

“Those nightmares, wont be just nightmares anymore."

Yosei thought back on the training he had been doing for a while. [color = blue]"I've learned six sound ninjutsus, most of which are offensive but some have utility functions. I've also just learned three lightning ninjutsus, all of which are offensive in nature." Yosei felt rather proud of all he had accomplished today now that he looked back on it.

"Got about half of the Great Pulse Fist and some Bloodline training out of the way..." he said, turning his head to somewhat acknowledge the man. He was still keeping his key at the ready, the blade started to sharpen a bit. Without him having to say anything it was quite stealthy. Something about this man made him really uneasy.

Hachi Hagami

Hachi nodded as both of genin recalled what the had learned. "Well the both of you are off to a good start. But it's still a bit lacking, so for now I'll just help you out with your training." He then lowered his bag down onto the ground, and took a good look around the training ground. "So what kind of jutsu's would you two like to learn, and what do you want to specialize in?"

Yosei had no qualms with more training. Getting stronger was always fun for him. "Well I'm definately good with ninjutsu. More of that could never hurt, but I'd like to learn some taijutsu or a weapon style in case I'm forced to fight in melee or I need to reserve chakra." Yosei looked at the man and wondered what kind of fantastic secrets he held in his mind.

Hachi Hagami

Hachi quickly thought over the options he had for the young ninja. He himself was a genjutsu specialist, so he hadn't spent alot of time studying close combat. But that didn't mean there was anything he could teach. "As I recall, the Sound village has two tajutsu styles. Although I personally wouldn't learn the style that requires you to go blind. I can help you learn one of them, and teach you a couple of genjutsu's that will make anyone fighting against you really regret it."

Yosei thought about his options. "Yeah I definately don't want to be blind. I wouldn't mind learning the great pulse fist but my teammate just did that and I think it would be better if we had different techniques to contribute. So I think I'll just wait to learn a different style at a later time. Int he mean time I would love to learn some genjutsu. It might take me a little longer than most students but I can handle a few I think. What have you got for me?" Yosei was slightly dismayed that he couldn't learn any melee techniques quite yet. But all was well when he was told he got to learn some genjutsu from a master.

Hachi Hagami

"Well I think you won't have any trouble learning the ones I'll teach you, since they are both low ranking genjutsu. But even low ranking ones can be a big hindrance to other shinobi." Hachi brought both of his hands up to make sure that Yosei could see them clearly. "The first one is called Double Vision Technique, and as the name suggests, it makes the person see doubles of everything." He then slowly went through the seals and gave Yosei enough time to see which seals he used. Then when he finished the last seal, Yosei's vision would momentarily double for a while before Hachi canceled and return it to normal. "Then next one is called Drunken Sight Technique, and it causes your sight to get blurry." He again went through the seals slowly, and soon Yosei's vision would blur before changing back to normal when Hachi cancelled the jutsu. "By themselves the genjutsu's will make it hard for the opponent to react to you quickly enough, but together they would make it hard for them to even know where you are. Try them out."

Shinri returned, scratching the back of her head, "Sorry about that..." She said kinda sheepishly, feeling a bit bad about just walking out. She saw the new sensei and walked up to him "Shinri Gensou Uchiha, sorry about skipping out on you..." she looked around a moment "I was wondeing if you could maybe teach me the Academy level universal genjutsu when I get through the academy sound genjutsu?"

Yosei listened and watched his sensei teach him the basic genjutsus and felt the strange sensations of being affected the them. Once the instruction had been complete, the sound genin began to practice the hand signs for the double vision as Shinri returned from her leave. It was not long before he completed the jutsu and attempted to affect his sensei with the double vision, and then canceled the effects only a couple of seconds later

Once he was sure that he had completed that technique, Yosei began practicing the hand seals for the drunken sight genjutsu. After a minute or so of practicing, the sound genin felt confident that he had the hand signs down. Yosei focused his chakra and repeated the necessary hand seals to activate the jutsu. He targeted his sensei once more and then quickly canceled it a couple seconds later.

Yosei then waited for his response to the jutsus he had just performed to see he had done them correctly.

Shinri sighed, impatiently, "Hey, I'm going to go train, alone. I'm sure we'll work just as well as squad..." she said, almost grumpily, before leaving.
