That odd blush returned with a vengeance at Roch's compliment. What had Nuk told her earlier...? Ahhh, no, best to not think about it. He was just being nice, that was all. "Th-thank you, I like this body." So far, with the exception of her boobs. But other than that, she loved this new body! "Ah, that's true...but when she does, don't forget, okay?" She was very, very concerned with his academic well-being.
Amrita squeaked when there was a Sudden Charlie-face right up in hers. Both gray eyes were open wide as saucers as he scrutinized her, nearly going cross-eyed when he poked her nose. "A-ah! But..! But I am Amrita, Charlie!" She pleaded with a very unhappy whimper, somewhat upset that the young Demon didn't recognize her.
She was too busy with the boils to notice the ghoul she'd smashed with a textbook, though. Nor did she notice the other plethora of faces she recognized.

Riley, as usual, was completely ignorant of Christof's situation, save that he seemed more comfortable. That, and now that he was slumped over, her wasn't in danger of being hurt by her wings. All around, it was a good position, and she used it to rest her arms on as she bent in towards Malodore and Jericho. All the while, she had this funny little wing in front of her, and she toyed with it noncommittally.
She looked pleased with herself, though. Amrita looks wonderful, don't you think, Jericho? Malodore and Christof did an amazing job on her body. I'm so proud of her for managing it.

"If you say so.." he murmured in response.
Shun couldn't help but shrug some at the question Mitsu had asked. It was something he was curious of as well, but given the booth at Open House and how damn leaky this class room was, he had a slight feeling water was going to be involved one way or another.
Then again, the professor was a Leviathan.
He just hoped no swimming would be needed. Ever.

Jericho continued to stare at the patchwork girl for another moment or so, until he heard one of the Reapers shouting out to her. Wait, so that was Amrita!
Confusion gone for the moment, he grinned and waved back to the vetala. However, that confusion came back as he didn't recall her having a patchwork body before. So how...?
The question was soon answered by his best friend, who explained a little of what went down.
"New body?" he remarked, "Well damn. You guys did a pretty good job of it! She looks great."
Hearing an odd noise nearby, his focus shifted to Christof who was acting rather strangely. Was ... Riley doing that to him?
"... What..?"

Okay, this was becoming awkward. Watching the purple ghoul with the crystal wings toy with Christofs wing, Johan began to feel like he was seeing something that ought to be reserved for the pumpkin patch. With a cough, he turned and finally noticed Haddiya beside him, gesturing towards to unoccupied seats.
Flustered, he didn't even greet her, merely moving to the seat. Once there, it was easy enough to get into the routine of setting out his studying materials, and ignoring whatever was happening a few seats over. He wondered idly if they would be making more little boats this time, as he fished out a small glass jar from his robe.

The strange creature blinked at the light, and tried to chase after the drops of water falling from the ceiling. Giving it an exasperated look, he shoved the jar to the corner of his desk, right beneath a persistent leak, and let it enjoy itself.

The jikininki had actually thought Junko wasn't going to be making it to this particular class and had settled in for the long haul without her. Dark eyes staring off towards those around him who'd returned from their summers with some very notable differences. There was a lot of wings.. He was a little distracted by Christof's gimpy little appendage when a sudden kiss on the cheek drew his attention around to the ghoul that had just taken a seat beside him. Smiling immediately there after and returning the fond peck. "Oh good, you made it."
Another ghoul was approaching the pair of them, and he raised a brow at her one bare foot before she sidled close to his ghoul friend to... He had to assume that was whispering but the subtle bits he could hear were rather harsh on the ear.
It dawned on him after a moment that he'd met this ghoul before. At the open house in the library, she'd been with Aislin and Cat when he'd showed up. "Hey, I didn't know you got accepted tot he academy, congratulations."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Happily the djinn slipped into the chair between the two boils and rested her elbows on the desktop before her, delicate chin coming to rest on folded hands. She was watching Johan has he pulled the jar from his robes and set it before him. It was one of the creatures they'd both gotten in their last Human Studies class. She had one herself, but it was back in her room in a fish tank beside her desk. She hadn't thought to bring it, but perhaps she should of, then the two could have had each other to play with. Johan's seemed content with chasing droplets though.
It seemed as though the entire ceiling was leaking, and although there was water on her desk suggesting there had been a steady stream of drops falling upon it none seemed to be landing anywhere near it or the ghoul seated behind it. And should either boil beside her care to really pay attention, none were hitting them either.
After a moment she turned to West, leaning a little closer to the demon. "Did you have a good visit with your parents?"

Xiu's attention had drifted away for a bit, distracted by a ghoul who had entered who was...familiar, and yet not familiar at the same time. Just like some of the others in the class, she was having a hard time believing that the ghoul was Amrita. She looked so much more...mature, albeit as sweet as ever if her interaction with Roch and Charlie were any indication. Smiling, she gave a little shake of her head before turning to return the wave to Sheridan.
With so many students here, this was going to be an interesting class.
Turning back to Shun and Mitsu, she furrowed her brows thoughtfully at the latter's question. "Human studies, hmm?" Honestly, Xiu knew...nothing about humans, really, so she wasn't sure what the focus of the class would be. "Maybe just...the basics? What humans are afraid of and such?" Whatever they were learning, she just hoped that it would help her with the scariness factor.

Was she late?
It was difficult to tell, since the class was already filling up, but it seemed to her that nothing was going on... Which probably meant that she was not late at all. However, the fact that class was starting soon meant that she had no right to be picky with her seat; not that she had to be, really, with so many familiar faces around.
"Tess!" She hugged the ghoul tightly from behind before taking a seat beside her, pushing in her chair. Turning to face her again, Lizzy started to stare, a frown tugging at the edges of her lips as she tilted her head; there was something different about Tess today, but she just couldn't put her finger on it... New haircut? Different hairstyle? Change of clothing?
... Wait. WAIT!
"Tess! You... Your legs!" She squealed softly, her eyes widened as she blinked, a grin on her face, "You found them?"
[Lizzy is attending.]

Ghosts. The itching in the back of his head (as he described it) started up again, or maybe Roch had only just noticed it when he woke up.He was starting to think it had something to do with ghosts. He glanced over to the boxy ghoul that was talking to Junko, then looked away again almost as quickly. So he expected that sort of thing in all his classes now, y'know... the ghosts. But they weren't talkin' to him, so he was okay.
Okay. The image of his dad pointing and laughing at him flashed through his mind and his expression darkened for a second. He would, too, Roch thought irritably. If his dad knew how pathetic he was when it came to ghosts he'd laugh his a** off at him, and Roch wouldn't even be able to talk back. Big bad reaper, hah.
He started looking around for something to distract himself with, only to find himself staring up at the ceiling as another ice cold drip hit his head. "That is definitely going to mess up my hair for the day," he complained.

Had Tess known of her fellow student's reactions to her no-longer-missing legs, she would have given them a wry smile and mentioned something about being careful what you wished for. And maybe make a backhanded compliment about trickster genies granting wishes just not the way you intended. She did notice Herryk (and honestly HOW does one miss a student of his impressive size? Someone, somewhere, please take your mind out of the gutters >C) sit behind her. "Herryk, good to see you again," she greeted and as she attempted to turn her torso around to face him (while leaving her lower half sitting forward, hooray for severed body parts), Lizzy arrived and vocalized her surprise.
"A-ah, n-no, Christof did," she explained with a small, anxious smile. It was still awkward for her to be in such close proximity to the patchwork Igor. "I-I'll tell you more after class."
Meanwhile, Legs was content at taking in the sights of such a wide variety of students. Oh the people she would meet! The things she could learn! The experiences she could have with them! It was all she could do not to jump out of her seat and hop onto some random student's desk to introduce herself. Thankfully, with Tess' full weight bearing down on her, she was hard pressed to do just that.
----------------------------------------
Petro noticed Levi take a seat beside Mot. Ah, the ghoul from the arm wrestling booth (Tro couldn't help but frown at the memory of his failed bouts with no thanks to those candlejacking gnomes) as well as from Floresctival. From the corner of his eye he saw Sheridan sit nearby and he greeted the celestial dragon with a good-natured clap on the back. "Sheridan! Glad to see y' here, too! Dunno if y've met Mot and Arm-wrestling-ghoul, but this 's Sheridan."
He was going to ask about the strange creature on the dragon's desk when he saw Charlie stick his tongue out at him. Did he really? DID HE REALLY?
Yes, yes, the fallen did. "'Scuse me," he muttered to Sheridan, Mot, and Levi before he promptly marched his way towards the pink-haired boil with full intentions of making his knuckles well acquainted with Charlie's jaw.
He was radiating anger and contempt for the fallen, ever since their little train ride Tro had never quite forgiven the slight Charlie made against his Clan's customs. "Y' don't learn very good, do y'?" he growled at Charlie in warning. The only reason he hadn't already gone and tried to put the beat down on the other boil was one: Charlie was very near a ghoul he didn't know (sorry Roch, as a boil, Tro assumed you'll be able to fend for yourself should a brawl break out). And two: Lizzy had arrived and with her presence, Tro had to keep his promise to her.
But really, Tro was itching for the pink-haired boil to try and provoke him again.
