Reginer Audo Reginer nodded ' People die younger than me...my death is no big deal." he said and opened his mouth to say no when the phone rang. He walked over to the phone and answered " Hello?" he asked and listened to the hysterical voice on the other line with a frown " I had no idea the doctor would call you." he said " W-Well yeah I was....O-Okay." he said " I'll talk to the doctor maybe we can try and fight this thing to buy me more time mother." he said and listened before hanging up " Okay now I have no choice but to accept yuor deal...my mother is quite the sign." he said " But unless your in my home your not allowed to be in angel form..I'd rather someone was around if their watching me..a.t least this way we can talk." he said and sat down.

Melanie | Jane | Cross No matter what it takes, I'll find a way to save you Melanie frowned slighty at his words and as he turned to answer the phone, she mumbled, "Well, it's a big deal for me." Melanie couldn't help the small smirk that appeared across her face as she heard the muffled sounds of a hysterical voice come through the phone, obviously, the doctor had called his mother. When Reginer said he'd accept her deal, she smiled even more and stretched her legs out in front of her. "I was hoping you'd say that, or at the very least your mother freaking out about you would change your mind. Who else would tell the doctor to call her?" Melanie said with a small wink. Realizing that she was being quite rude, she sighed a little and leaned her head against the wall for a second. "Listen, I'm not trying to be. . . what you humans would call and a** here. Us angels are just used to getting our way is all, and we never come in contact with other humans usually so I don't have any experience on the earth plane. . . at least not while I'm visible anyway," she said to him as she frowned at small spider crawling on the cieling, not having a particular liking toward the creature.
"And I guess staying visible to you while I'm in your house won't be too much of a bother to me," she said to him as she flicked a peice of her long, dark hair out of her eyes. "It'll actually make my job easier, I won't have to worry about accidentally bumping into you or making noises or something. Remember the couch incident last night? I almost laughed at that one," she said, smiling slightly though there was an uneasiness to her smile. Despite her brave facade, she was nervous of the potential consequences of saving him might be.

Reginer Audo Reginer nodded " Then do what you can." he said " I'm just gonna have to pretend I'm still sick or something...but I also have to go to school tomorrow...you can stay here...no need to follow me to school...its boring anyway." he shrugged " Or I'll pretend I just had a cold but there is a chance the doctor will email the nurse of my condition....but I'm tired...just allow me to sleep." he said and laid back on the couch and closed his eyes burying his face in the cushions and tried to fall asleep peacefully though he was uncomfortable with it all but since his mother had called he had no choice...he didn't like her to be sad or anything so he was willing to go through with it even thought he knew she set him up now.

Melanie | Jane | Cross No matter what it takes, I'll find a way to save you Melanie smiled sadly. "Sorry, I must follow you even if it's boring," she said to him. "But I'll remain invisible and won't bother you in anyway. It'll be like I'm not even there," she said to him as she watched him go lie down on the couch. Melanie pushed away the guilt that threatened to press on her heart over what she'd done as she watched him slowly trying to go to sleep. "Sorry, Reginer," she whispered softly as she walked faded to invisible and walked outside of his house for a bit. Enjoying the fresh air the feeling of the warm sunshine on her skin. "What have you done, Mel?" she whispered to herself with a shake of her head. "If I save him and as soon as the other angels find out, I'll be a fallen angel," she said sadly as she pressed herself up against a tree in his yard. "If I would just let him die, things would be much simpler," she said quietly, though she knew that she wouldn't allow that to happen.

Reginer Audo Reginer had already thought the same thing she was but he was in no position to argue anymore beacuse even at his age his mother was still a factor and she influenced almost everything he did. He slept all through the night however it wasn't easy at all. The next morning he woke up and got dressed but of course he looked terrible. He gathered everything he needed for school including the 10 separate and labeled USB's for each class report that was due. He had done some early so he could have left those but Reginer liked to get things done early when he knew he could especially for the classes he didn't like. He ran downstairs and only grabbed a banana for breakfast and he was already out the door. He didn't care whether Melanie was there or not he wasn't going to be late to school and that was a very long run from his house. He had pretty much forgotten about this whole Cancer healing...demon hunt business. He was only concerned with school beacuse if he was going to die soon he wasn't going to be lazy about it no matter what even if he died at school which he doubted as that cancer hadn't spread that far.

Melanie | Jane | Cross No matter what it takes, I'll find a way to save you Melanie had remained outside the whole night, though she'd kept her mind especially atuned to Reginer thoughtout the sleeping hours to make sure that he was alright. When he'd come outside in the morning to go to school, she followed him though her mind was elsewhere as she did so. She had been thinking the whole night on the best way to make him better, the least suspicious way, and the way that would cause the least amount of trouble for them both. The last thing that Melanie wanted was to have to fight, or in the worst case scenario, run away from demons. Reginer liked school, she didn't want to uproot him from that and if she had anything to do about it, she wouldn't let it happen. When he was sitting in his first place, she got an idea that she thought would be the best. If she cured him little by little, then maybe no one would notice it for some time. It would take more effort on Mel's part and on her energy, but she was sure that she could do it. Melanie leaned closer to him and whispered just loud enough for him to hear. "Don't freak out, alright? It's just me," she said to him as placed her index fingers to his temples and closed her eyes, transferring some of her energy into him and fighting the cancer cells in a way that no human medicine could. While she didn't do much, she figured that he'd feel slightly different, she just didn't know in what way.

Reginer Audo Reginer was out of breath when he got to school which wasn't usual but he recovered quickly. He went to first period immediately and sat down as he pulled out everything for class. When he heard her voice he nearly jumped but then he remembered Melanie was his guardian angel. He sighed and just let her do her thing. He suddenly started to feel a little better..his head didn't hurt as much as it did and he was thankful for that. He whispered it having no close how Close or how far she was " Thank you Melanie." he said as class began. He was silent most of the period aside from a few coughing attacks he had but he just brushed those off. He turned in his projects and finished his work early before reviving this weeks and next weeks assignments of course. He really did enjoy school even if it was a lot of work and he had a plan for after so he wanted to get through this with the best grades he was allowed to achieve no matter what it took. He knew however if demons came calling he'd have to leave and he would. He didn't want to put anyone else in danger if they came after him so he'd just leave it all behind and disappear. Once class was over he went out into the hall ways and sat down to talk to his friends for a bit before he went outside to get some fresh air. Somehow he felt like he needed to be outside more than ever as the air inside was making him feel a little dizzy.

Melanie | Jane | Cross No matter what it takes, I'll find a way to save you Melanie didn't say anything back to his thank you, but rather just walked back to an empty seat in the classroom and waited. Sometimes she would tune in on what the teacher was saying just for the fun of it, but most of the times, she blocked the words out and seemed to go off on her own little thought pattern. When class ended, she resumed to following Reginer around again and went outside when he had as well. Looking around for a moment, making sure that no one was close around to hear her voice, she walked closer to Reginer. "So, I've come with an idea. If I start curing you little by little, then maybe it won't attract others attention so quickly," she said before shrugging even though she knew he couldn't see the gesture. "Well, that's the idea anyway. I'm just hoping that it'll work," she was with a small, audible sigh. It was strange to not know the own outcomes of her decisions, she usually had a pretty good idea of things that might happen, but she was unsure of herself. Melane was usually a fairly confident person, even as far as angels went, but she doubted herself in this particular situation it seemed.

Reginer Audo Reginer shook his head " I guess but why delay the inevitable?" he asked " Sooner or alter once enough of my cancer is taken care of they will notice it." he said ' But thank you...I''m sure this puts much more strain on you than me and I appreciate that yuor willing to do it." he shrugged " You don't have to though...It'd be much simpler if you would allow me to die." he cracked his neck and looked back " Gotta go back inside." he said and went in. He spent a few moments talking with his friends before they all went to class. Reginer could hardly keep his eyes open in class but he managed to make it through. He had never been so tired before but he was tired now. The doctor wasn't kidding when he said it would get worse as time went on and the cancer was getting worse pretty quickly despite the small bit of help she gave since cancer continued to grow and grow until one died. He went outside and sat on a bench with his head back and closed his eyes to rest for a moment.

Melanie | Jane | Cross No matter what it takes, I'll find a way to save you Melanie nodded at what he said, even though she knew that je couldn't see the motion. "Yes, they'll notice it, but it's easier for me. To cure it all at once would take quite a bit of power and would leave me weak for quite some time," she said to him. "And, yes, it would much simpler to let you die, but I can't allow it," she said to him as she followed him back to his class. Once sitting in the room once more, though she kept her attention focused on Reginer. She could tell that he was getting worse, despite the small boost that she'd given him and she debated the fact in maybe just healing him completely and getting it over with. It might attract attention much faster, but she didn't think anyone would notice for a few more days at least which she thought she'd be back to almost normal by then. The thought of just getting it over with started appealing to her the more and more she thought about it.
