Hi. My name is Fiona. I was born 8-5-85...hehe very easy to remember ar wink that makes me 19 turning 20 in a few months. I live in Scarborough and attend U of Waterloo...so I live there too. hehe. My parents are both from HK and I came to Canada when I was 2. But I can still speak cantonese fluently. Not too good with reading and writing though. sad hehe um what else?? I have a little sister that was born in Canada and she reads and writes Chinese better than me. sweatdrop hehe. I like anime. *bwhahaha* My name is Lillian Chang, I'm a 14 year old, full-blooded cantonese girl born in Maryland (US) attending Watkins Mill High. I've moved around the east coast alot, but its only when I've moved to Montgomery Village (MD) where I met fellow asians. (which, I'm friends with none! xd )
My favorite foods are apple cider, and vegetable chow fun. I'm a lacto-vegetarian, (I just recently removed eggs from my diet, but I've been a vegetarian for well over a year. ) I'm a complete internet and music freak, and you would find me in the music forums often. My favorite bands are Christian Death, Tragic Black, Bauhaus, Nine Inch Nails, Nitzer Ebb, Nurse with Wound, UK Decay, Depeche Mode, and Sex Gang Children. I love going to the China Town in DC, but the town about 15 min. away from us, (Rockville) is good enough for me. 3nodding I can speak cantonese, but I'm sad to say that I'm loosing it - I hear cantonese quite well though. My parents are from Southern China, somewhere in between Gaung Dong (however you spell it) and Hong Kong, they moved to America right after they got married in their late and early 30's to have us. I have 4 other siblings, only one other goes on Gaia (tawapanda_san). I cannot read and write chinese, pathetic as hell. xd I know a few words, but its less than 15. I used to be able to read this sort of mandarin using syllables songs like "ma, ba, yu" but I forgot it all. I love watching cantonese videos though, Chow Yun Fat is my favorite when he does chinese videos. I have vacationed to Southern China in '99, where I visited my parent's neighborhood and my uncles. (one of them is living in Virgina now, and the other is in China and is coming to america soon. ) We had a visit to Guilin, but we got in some trouble with out little brother. ahhhahaha. Thats nice. Its funny how the chinese call us americans and the americans call us chinese. *bwhahhaha*
