Zarel had been propped up on his elbow, so landry has to force him back to the mat for the pin attempt
one...two...
Zarel gets his shoulder off the mat and sits up this time, beginning to push himself back to his feet

Landry wasn't going down that easily, and he was ready to fight just like Zarel was. The Champion would rise to his feet, wait for Zarel, before attempting a high dropkick to the Rumble winner.

Brantley was starting to get ready to tear some stuff up. He wobbled around a bit watching the in ring action, little by little making his way closer to the ring. He would walk along the apron until he got to the stairs. Once at the stairs, he would sit down on the stairs at pull out a flask. He unscrewed the top and took a quick swig, going back to his days as a pirate of the seas, and put the flask away before shaking his head and walking up the steps.

Landry was starting to get back on his roll, and he decided to go high risk. Landry began ascending the turnbuckle, smiling as the crowd was getting louder and louder, waiting for the big move. He would sit sturdy on the top, waiting for Zarel to stand, and if he got that far, he'd try to execute an Overcastle!

Zarel rises again, looking for landry. when he turns to the corner, the champion is flying off the turnbuckle and catches him with the overdrive maneuver, dropping the large man to the mat again. The momentum has switched repeatedly in this match, and clearly after both brantley and Zarel have had a turn with it, landry was taking his

I don't know what match most of these people were watching, but from his point of view, Brantley had been getting his a** kicked almost the whole match. Maybe able to bring in one move due to his lackadazical attempts and laid back approach. He knew he needed to get back in the match so he gave his flask to a kid in the front row, who immediately began to drink out of it, and walked up the stairs. Brantley led himself into the ring and entered looking at the two men being laid out in front of him. He thought to himself that a good opportunity had arisen, but he didn't want to just take the win so easily. Brantley wanted to look like a winner to feed his own ego and selfish pride.
Brantley glared down both men and though he had a certain, disdain for the whole Damone clan, he couldn't help but see a tired, beaten Landry in front of him. Brantley would attempt to pick Landry up and place him in a front headlock, after which, he'd attempt to lift Landry into a Suplex like position before dropping him and hitting a neckbreaker. Whether the move was successful or not, Brantley looked as if he didn't have any intent on stopping.

Landry was right in the middle of standing up but Summers had other ideas, and Landry was lifted up and dropped harshly on his neck from the creative neckbreaker, stopping his momentum cold.

Brantley stood above Landry after getting to his feet. He tilted his head slightly to the side and a grin creeped upon his face. With that, Brantley would attempt to stomp on the face of Landry and if successful, Brantley would try to deliver a standing knee drop onto the face of the 'Innovator', the current Undisputed Champion, Mike Landry.

Landry's face gets to taste the bottom of Summers' boot...right before he gets smashed in the face with his knee. Landry holds his cheek, rolling around on the mat in pain.

Brantley, being ever the opportunist, saw the opportunity to give himself the opportunity to win the match. Brantley would go over to Landry and attempt to pick him up by the head. Brantley then try to stick Landry between his knees and pick up both Landry's arms. With Landry's elbows bent on his arm, Brantley would try to jump and give Landry the move, only known as, the Pedigree. The move never worked before, but Brantley was feeling lucky.

Maybe Landry was still a little dizzy from the previous neckbreaker, combined with the repeated blows to the head throughout the match (and his career,) but for some reason, the Champion was unable to find a counter to the Pedigree in time, and was planted face first into the mat as the crowd went quiet, unable to really process what they were seeing at the moment.

Brantley was in shock and awe after actually nailing the Pedigree, on Mike Landry none the less. He would sit there for a second before pushing Landry away from him and flipping him over. It was at this point that Brantley finally realized that his chances of winning in this match were not as slim as he thought. Brantley would attempt to pin Mike Landry quickly enough for Zarel not to react.

The audience sat in shock as they saw the seemingly unconscious Champion Mike Landry pinned beneath Brantley Summers of all people.
"1...2...thr"NO! Landry was still alive and he shot a shoulder up right before the referee could smack the canvas one more time. This match was still under way.

Zarel rises to his feet at this point. realizing he'd nearly lost his shot, he waits for Brantley to stand again. As soon as Brantley stands, Zarel would attempt to catch him by the throat and nail him with a chokeslam
