Johnathan Hartman I had been drifting away thinking about what might be at the end of this investigation, justice, a small measure of peace, a killer behind bars, maybe the traces of mafia connections, when the question directed at me yanked me back to earth. "Not that I know of. Of the few suits I have they all fit fine, and I don't really have enough cash for a new one." Also that you probably wouldn't like the fact that I'm carrying a gun that you'd no doubt find in your sizing and that Mr.Shreck wouldn't much care to find out that I'm a cop.

Shayla Fagan "As you wish." She said as she took a card of her desk. "If you ever change your mind you know where to find me." She said holding one out to Shreck as well. "Drive safely this city will kill you in a thousand ways, and it wouldn't do for potential clients to end up in a pine box, even if I provided the suit." Shayla said giving them a sidelong wink. To her nothing was serious anymore and she said and did what she wanted. With her father and brothers avenged and her mother and sisters living with her aunt in Boston she had precious little to care about now.

SIC VIS PACEMPARA BELLVM "Ach, gut idea." Gerulf stops to take the card. He then reaches into his coat and hands Shayla a card that reads "Schreck Imports, Light Machines, & Appliances." "If you need an Appliance, come to me, ja?"

Shayla Fagan "If I have need of such a thing I will let you know." She said with a pleasant smile. However her thought was Appliances? I won't be playing house and there is no way such things would fit in my little sardine can apartment. Their business concluded she took a seat at her desk and began to attempt putting the mish-mash of papers, notes and other assorted bits of paper into order.

Johnathan Hartman "If I ever need a suit I'll be sure to come back here." I gave her a tip of my hat and turned back to Mr.Shreck. "Now how about we head back to your store?" With any luck I'd get the answers I need and without incident. If I had it my way, I wouldn't need a fitted suit for many years to come.

Janine V. Bentolo Ever since the day after the funeral it had been weeks of struggling to trying to find a new job, the expense of the funeral almost made Janine completely broke, and she knew there was going to be a time where she needed to provide for her family, however she soon realized she wasn't the only one who thought so, as she was about to head out through the door for an interview with a Seamstress, she saw her brother who was well dressed and heading out to find a job himself. Telling her about how much he wanted to provide for her, as sweet as it was for him, Janine didn't want to bother Jesse, but she let him go off to this interview as she grabbed her purse and waited a while until she was sure Jesse was out of the apartment as she went out the door to get to her own interview, which was only a couple of blocks away, making the chore of walking less for a hassle, she would however have to give her new manager the heads up about the baby. Walking inside it seemed like a spiffy place as she walked up to the counter and saw a bell as she tapped it lightly twice, the first time was barely a ring and the second tap to try ti make it more noticeable was a bit loud and made Janine jump a bit from feeling startled, two men who walked by just so happened to notice her as they chuckled, making Janine look over at them and flash an awkward smile before turning back to the counter as she awaited assistance.

Shayla Fagan Shayla stood behind her new assitant and gave the men a frigid stare. Her reputation as the ice queen was well established and for her work they men were seemingly willing to play along. "Do the men need any assistance or do you have this?" She asked the Janine as she made her way directly to her side. Shayla had seen the obituary for her husband and figured the wise guys may know who she was, but if they knew what was good for them they wouldn't say anything in front of Shayla.

Janine V. Bentolo When Shayla gave the men that fridgid glare they were sure to look away as they stopped staring at Janine, which left her a bit bewildered before looking over at Shayla with a smile on her face when she asked her if she was able to assist the men, it being her first day of work, Janine simply nodded. "Oh don't worry about those boys, I just came in today so I'm up and ready for my first day od work!" Janine replied with a cheery smile on her face as she walked behind the counter and signed herself in before grabbing measuring tape and walking over to the two men that had walked in earlier, with Shayla around they were sure to behave themselves as they watched Janine approaching them. "How are you fine gentleman doing today?" she asked sweetly as the men gave her a welcoming smile. "We're doing good, in fact I was wondering if you could help me find the right sized suite that I need.." one of the men replied as Janine simply nodded, "Why of course, let me measure you real quick and I'll get you what you need." Janine replied as she did a quick measure up as she wrote down the man's measurements before going off to get the variety of suites that may interest the man, as she collected some of the suites, placing them on a rolling rack she was passing by Shayla. "Thank you again for hiring me at the shop Ms.Fagan, I wouldn't know what I would do without your help." Janine implied as she was looking through racks and finding another suite to place on the rolling rack.

Shayla Fagan "I know what it is to be a down and out after this city took from you all you held dear. So don't worry, as long as you door your job you will have a place." She said reassuringly before she went back to sit at her roll top desk to continue straightening out the mess Esperanza had left when she disappeared so suddenly. Shayla had gotten a good chunk of it done and now it was the finer details of copying it all down in her books and updating the address book she had for deliveries to her clients.

Janine V. Bentolo Hearing her boss say those words to her made her feel like her day was made as she smiled up at Shayla, "Thank you Ms.Fagan, your so kind..." Janine replied as he got the rolling rack full of the suites in the sizes that the man had been sized for as she rolled it over to the two gentlemen standing and waiting for her. "Here you go sir." Janine implied before she looked over at the other gentleman. "Sir, are you looking of anything as well? I'll be happy to size you up real quick and get you what you need." Janine asked as the man shook his head and waved dismissively, "Oh no worries miss, I'm just tagging along with my pal here, but thank you for suggesting doll." The man replied as Janine simply smiled before walking over to the rolling rack as she watched the other man picking out a couple of suites that he liked as he then looked up at her, as he opened his mouth, before he was able to say anything Janine pointed over at the dressing rooms, "If you need to try on the threads there dressing rooms are available over there." Janine replied as the man smiled at her as he was mused that she was able to beat him to the question as he nodded, "Thank you ma'am." He replied as he walked to the dressing room, Janine just smiled, "You're very welcome sir, if wither of you need me I'll be at the counter." she told the gentlemen as she walked back to the front counter, looking out to make sure if there was anyone who needed help and looking outside the window to see if anyone were to walk in

Shayla Fagan Shayla was glad to have Janine around, the extra hands meant she could help the customers while she sorted through the mountain fof paper, back orders and chicken scratch from Esperanza. Esperanza was a nice girl but she was running from something or someone and when she ran off again she left a mess in the shop. A mess added to when what ever was looking for her had tossed the shop one night. Now after three weeks of constant pen to paper she had it all straightened out, all the excess papers tossed and her books back to a neat precise order. The few remaining back orders would be sent out shortly and her books showed them in the black. For the time being things at least slightly were looking up.

Janine V. Bentolo Standing where she was for a while before taking a seat on a stool that was at the desk, Janine looked through the list of stuff that had to be done today that she had made for herself before coming into work today, it wasn't long until she herd the small bell ring as Janine looked up to see who has walked in. Janine saw an elder man of Asian decent walk in along with two escorts who were younger and of also Asian decent, Janine placed her list away as she got up from her stool and stood at the front counter with a warm smile as the younger Asian man asked if Fagan was in. Janine smiled as she nodded. "Yes, Mis. Fagan is in today, I'll see that she will be right with you." Janine replied as she made her way to the back where she found the woman handling some papers and messes that were left behind by the other workers. "Ms. Fagan, there are some people out there that need your assistance..." Janine spoke out in a meek like manner.

Shayla Fagan Fagan walked to the front and smiled. "Mr. Yu it is very nice to see you again, I trust you are well?" She asked the elderly Chinese man who had finally come to visit her shop after the several trips she had made down to his restaurant for advice on cloth. She was not sure who the younger people were but she figured they were probably his servants, or something on that order.
