"Two little precious', sittings in a tree.." Freya, still walking towards the forest, with her two boils in tow, teased Molan and Olivia because they were just s o damned cute. She pinched Olivia's cheek and kept walking. "S E - oooo I sees an owl!" And she was gone.

Aaah, so many people! Had she still been a first year, Xiu probably would have fallen silent and skittered to hide behind the closest person, but she had luckily outgrown that shy phase fairly quickly. Now, she seemed fairly content and relaxed to be standing among the quickly growing group, her tail wagging behind her as she dipped her head in silent greeting to those who were joining them.
She turned her attention to Serafina when the other ghoul introduced herself, her lips curving into another smile. "What a pretty name! It's nice to meet you, Sera. How are you finding Amity so far?"
And then there were suddenly two new faces there. This was...oh, Danny's cousin, was it? Beaming, she lifted a hand to wave, her expression warm as she regarded the fire demon and his friend. When Danny did the introductions, she gave the boil a small bow of her head. "It's nice to meet you, Andrew! My name is Xiu." The smile was still on her face as her gaze slid over towards the Roc ghoul who had followed him, "And you are? Ah--and welcome to Amity, both of you!"

The day when the actual expedition would happen finally arrived. With a couple introductions done the last day, Xiu was quite pleased to find that she had names to go with some of these faces now. The bus ride had been fun--the baku had enjoyed chatting with Danny, stifling her giggles as she slyly glanced at the back of Gene and Mot's heads throughout the ride. To say that she was pleased about her friends getting together would have been an understatement.
When they finally arrived, the ghoul listened to the professor's instructions before dropping off her bag, moving to join with the rest of her friends who had gathered. "This seems like it'll be fun! And--oh, AJ!" She perked up when the boil appeared, greeting him with a smile and a wave. Gaze flickering down to his tail, she knelt down a little, her expression apologetic. "Sorry, I didn't think to bring any with me today. But um...after we're back at Amity, I'll deliver a batch for you, okay?"
She straightened up and turned back to look at the others. Danny's challenge was met with a chuckle, and she clasped her hands behind her back before giving a little shrug. "Sounds good to me! A little competition never hurt anyone, right? So...whoever finds the biggest dragon of the previously unseen colors." Hopefully it wouldn't be too difficult to find any, though she had a feeling that a lot of patience would definitely be important for this particular task.
...Just how big could these little guys get though? Hopefully not too big.

An idea struck Gene just then, and she approached Professor Walker with a curious look and a bowed head, hands behind her back. "Excuse me, professor? Which enchantments would you recommend? Some of the students are fairly new to the Scarefari, and may need a teensy bit of help?"

One long bus ride with a rather talkative bunch of people, and sitting next to one of the few other people who knew how to keep their mouth shut mostly, later and he was the scarefari. A place filled with wilds and a lot of less than tame things. Hopefully small things. To be perfectly honest, he was going t be borrowing equipment for the most part because he hadn't been sure what all to bring. He could have gotten some, buthe wasn't sure what was best, so figured the lent items would be a good learning point. If he had further classes in the future he'd know. So he was just starting somewhere really.
After a fulfilling ride of learning and discussing about how lovely rocks they passed were he found something rather unimpressed with the lodging. Well no, it wasn't a trip to a five store scare resort, but, that many people that close? He'd... never be able to sleep around so many strangers. Absolutely not. But he was at least going to keep his things away from potentially getting singed. His mind went to around the same thought pattern of choosing a place opposite the burning things, sort of edging to a corner to set down his own bag. Which was essentially a few changes of clothes, some bells, a brush, and really just proper grooming things. He was practical, but still a bit spoiled in the long run.
He sighed as he set things in their place making a mental note of the times and comment. Any deaths? ...why did the fact his father repeatedly said the school was very special seem to keep meaning other.. rather interesting things.
Very special indeed. Well, he'd be sure to follow the timing rules as closely as possible, best to get started. He was about to head out himself when he noticed the quiet ghoul was still near him, seeming to look at him a bit expectantly? Though he didn't have long to question as a ghoul lightly toyed with the ghoul's cheek while chiming along in a sing song voice. A tune only used in a scareling rhyme as she wandered off to be distracted. Still, he'd sort of backed off from the girl with that, obvious embarrassment written all over his face as he cast Olivia a look, not sure what to do. Really, it had been sort of obvious she wanted to probably try to work together to... try this. As neither seemed to know where to begin, but that was-
Well, it was just a joke. "I... guess we should go." Before someone else got a bright idea and started singing again. Right. He rubbed at his cheek a bit, trying to brush off the fact he was still a bit bothered by the childish little act and gathered up the supplied provided to them before wandering out.
There was a peak or something right? It'd be nice and cold over there perhaps, he'd liked that idea.Chirigami Let us go find some quiet corner of the scarefari to try and catch a hopefully small dragon thing before someone else starts talking crazy. Nio Love Freya your obvious shipping is obvious. And going to make kids stop talking XD

Oh good, he had noticed she was standing near him. It was a little obvious by the look on his face that Molan was not very pleased with their accommodations, and she had a small worry that it was going to set him off to leave by himself or something. Going alone was not ideal to her, and she kind of didn't like the idea of anyone else having that idea. Especially not someone who had talked to her.
She smiled when he turned, only to be intercepted by another ghoul with an impressive set of wings. -what.. in the what? Waitwhathuh?
Olivia froze when she felt fingers pinch her cheeks and a song fill her ears, wait... what? But the other ghoul was gone before she could question anything, or get her mind going to process what happened. If Molan didn't know what to do, based on the look her gave her (was he blushing? He looked embarrassed), she had less of a clue (she just looked stumped).
"O.. okay," she replied softly, following after him. He didn't seem to be pressing into the subject matter, though she wanted to ask him why that song sounded familiar. And why that other ghoul had called them precious and well, what it kind of meant. It was kind of funny, in an odd way, she admitted to herself as she collected the proper items. But, the look Molan had shot her, he probably didn't think the same.

Kettil now had his ghoulfriend climbing around on him like an adorable winged monkey of adorableness. He pretty much good naturedly took on his ghoulfriend like there was nothing wrong or weird with what she was doing but it was probably obvious that he'd do the exact same thing if roles were reversed.

Kettil pretty much sat on the bus and as she chattered he idly teased her about something or another that she talked about. He even shared a couple of jokes with Muka in between the times when Freya felt the need to take a breath from chattering. Then his ghoulfriend scrambled over him to get out of the bus.
...Yep.
He wandered off of the bus and grinned at her, "Should take you campin' with me then." The boil noted her sad moment and tilted his head a little. Kettil ruffled her bangs and chuckled as she brightened immediately after and followed her. "Yes, we fly. Lead on, Túkut."
Kettil simply followed making sure Muka was still creepin' along.
When his ghoulfriend took a moment to assault some people he only laughed and kept following Freya so she wouldn't get herself all lost. Nio Love Yet. He ain't leavin'. So who is crazier? iloveyouDIE HEYHEYHEY. Oooh~ WON'T YOU. COME SEE ABOUT MEEEE. ((Don't mind me listening to 80's music while I write.))

Siddie was late. Oops. She arrived just in time to get on the bus, and spent the ride catching her breath and trying to get the window to open its mouth and let go of her hood. Luckily, Clove wasn't in said hood to complicate the process; the drutten had been left in Sammy's care, because of a few too many incidents in the scarefari. Once the bus arrived, she gathered up her trapping kit and headed purposefully off towards the beach. ((Anybody who wants to go to the Southern Beach area can feel free to bother Siddie! She doesn't bite, promise~))

Frost had more or less been asleep on the bus. When they arrived, he was also a bit slow to realize that: A) This is not my room B) This smells like car C) Oh there are too many seats D) This is a bus E) An empty bus F) I should probably get off. Yawning, the wolfos made his way off the nap bus and began to look for familiar faces. Which were a few. And a few he didn't know. That didn't matter and Frost had other questions. Like if it would be alright for him to wander in his natural form. Or as an animal. He could do that too. A nudge to Gene, Frost gave a smile before asking the professor, "It is allowed that we might use our natural forms yes?" it was so much easier to hunt that way. Trap. Hunt. They were close enough.

The dragon regarded both the boil and the unusual tail with an amused smile. It appeared he was once again being included in things beyond his understanding. How interesting. It took him way back to his own highschool days. Hadn't Malcolm been a bit like that as well? Turning to the ghost, the professor offered her a smile. "That is a keen question. Pygmy dragons are very curious. With no enchantments at all, you may find more of the creatures you don't want will pay them no mind. Sometimes it is not the presence, but the absence of something that makes the difference." He paused, and tilted his head slightly. "Try setting your traps where you find their tracks, they are small, round, with clearly evident claws." It was like the dragon could see right through him. "If it will faciliate the live capture of pygmy dragons, please use your natural form to the best of it's ability." Professor Walker eyed the wolfos, a hint of an amused smile on his lips. "I expect great things from you, now that you are refreshed and alert."

Millie wandered off the bus as the other students were already scattering in all directions. Clearly she slept too long on that bus ride...
Shocked at the 'accommodations' Millie stood there for a few moments with her mouth agape. She had never had to use such... very basic sleeping quarters before. Hopefully none of the others snored too loudly...
This can't be too hard can it? Millie thought cheerfully as she claimed a cot by putting her bag on it. She could always unpack later.
Fetching her trapping kit from her bag, Millie wandered off in the direction of the misty plains.
What better place to start then a wide open field?

Now that the teacher she'd been speaking to had wandered off to begin preparations, Yaya was left to her own devices. It was now, as she turned to look among her fellow students for a familiar face, that she realized their weren't many. It made the soft smile she was wearing falter. This was what came of keeping to yourself for long periods of time, and she felt a sudden surge of annoyance at her boilfriend for having left her in such an anti-social state. Honestly though, he was only half to blame. It was as much her fault, as his, that she didn't know the majority of the students milling about. There were a few, thankfully, that she did. Though she couldn't say she was especially close to any of them. Still.. She did not delight in being on her own. "Freya, It's good to see you again." Not at all certain the Valkyrie would remember her, Yaya made her way towards that little knot of students. The reaper she recognized from prom, but he looked different from the last time she'd seen him. She also couldn't remember his name.. Jack almighty, she felt awkward.

Yes, there was a bit of a rosy hue messing up that usually pale complexion, but not too much. It was partially caused by a concern that everyone ELSE around would misunderstand. They were just acquaintances. Nothing more. Here some girl was essentially proclaiming them to be doing this, that, and maybe everything inbetween. Tsk nothing of the sort had happened at all. He barely knew her name after all.
He'd started off slow enough to at least overhear the bit about using a natural form fine as long as the pet wasn't too harmed in the process spoke to another student and the question answered about enchantments. Well that was good, he didn't know to much about them anyway, and certainly hadn't brought any. Best he didn't really need them. Now he just had to find the right spot. He nodded briefly to the ghoul as she chimed in a quick reply before wandering off in the direction he sort of assumed the peaks were in. He could see some towering above in the distance. Seemed a good idea to start and not many people would be there most likely?
And the Olivia seemed to want to come with, so he'd have a second opinion on their trapping attempts. Maybe she even had a better idea than he did, though from the look of it she was as new to this as he. So it was a tossup.
Still, as soon as they'd walked a bit to get away from the main group in the direction of the Stormstruck Peaks he glanced over his shoulder back at Olivia, raising a brow lightly. "So... how much do you know?" Best to get it out of the way. How in the proverbial clueless hole were the two of them with trying to make this all work.Chirigami ONWARD TO THE WILDERNESS. Sparrow was, for the first time in probably his entire school career, actually late.
He'd almost missed the bus. Almost. How embarrassing.
At any rate, he now stood just outside of it, one hand on the strap of his bag, looking around expectantly for the instructions, which...were somewhat vague, but at the same time he decided well, he liked Professor Walker, even if the last time they'd met he'd strung him up in a net.
"Where to go, where to go..."

Muka probably paid more rapt attention to Freya than anyone did on the long ride. He had no problem staaaaring and listening, head turning occasionally to take in the scenery of the drive. Upon arriving he'd (surprisingly) only brought one bag, some expensive looking scaley skinned designer number. Perhaps Needle had helped him pack and kept it simple? When they finally set off to trap, he looked positively JAZZED. The owl-boil stretched his wings. "Did you all say something about ahh... hrrmm.. flying?" He giggled a bit and gave both Freya and Kettil taloned pokes in the ribs. And just for the record... he'd have loved to have been left in the woods as a babe to fend for himself. Freya's dad sounded like a GOOD TIME. As they set off on their journey he nudged into his companions. "How about aahhh a wager?"

Danny put a hand on her chin. All of the places the teacher listened- hmmm. She knew she didn't want the mountains or the "stormstruck" place. The bog was out. The dark woods sounded incredibly boring, and she was almost positive she would burn them down (not that that was a bad thing). The misty fields were out. The beach had an ocean- no thank you. The bog was a no.
So basically all choices sucked, but the forest sucked the least.
She tugged on Gene's sleeve and said, "Can we go to the forest? I wanna go to the forest ..." Big puppy dog eyes. "Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?"Quote: I don't know who else is with us, if you guys tag along let me know > A < !!
