Ray grinned broadly down at the Eevee that had been let out of the Ball, young indeed, still quite small. "Well hey there Fluffster! Its nice to meet you." Ray said, kneeling down to properly greet the Eevee. "You know you ended up with the best trainer right? This girl here? she's going places, and you're going to be there with her the whole way, ain't ya?"
grinning back at Yuri Ray tilted her head "Mmmore like someone who isn't registered with the League having a ball, of any kind, is illegal. Any trainer could have those balls if they wanted. heck I've been given a few before." She flicked a bug off of her arm "Never used them, whats the fun in that?" making a click with her tongue she winked again.
Dove's apparent oblivious notice to Ray's teasing earner her another one of Ray's wide, uncomfortable smirks, girl needed a sense of humor.
Looking back to Yuri when he claimed that the ball wasn't empty, though also claimed then he didn't know what was in it. "Woh... okay hold on. Yuri, how do you know there's something in it, if you haven't even opened it to look inside?" An actual frown crossed the women's lips at Yuri claiming that it held a Legendary. "You do know that just becasue Dove has a Masterball with a Mew in it, doesn't mean that they all do. In fact before now, before Kodo, owning a Legendary was reserved for stories passed around among trainers. It was unheard of." The tall women crossed her arms, arching her eyebrow at Yuri, not thinking he was the kind of person to just say that kind of thing without having a legitimate suspicion, leaving her more reason to worry, for more than one reason. "Do you have a reason to think its got a Legendary in it?"

Fluffster skittered back, yipped, and did a strange shuffle-walk forward, curiously, as the tall woman kneeled. She seemed to take on a puzzled frown for a moment, then yipped one more time.
Henrietta added another few marshmallows to their dinner. She was wide-eyed, looking from Ray, to Yuri, to Dove. "Oh man! Mystery pokémon?! You totally gotta open it!" Even if there wasn't a pokémon inside, it was a pretty cool ball- not blue and yellow, but a pretty awesome colour anyway. And, besides the excitement of Yuri's possible-pokémon-that-might-be-a-legendary, Hen' remembered to regard Dove curiously for a bit longer than the others. "You have a Mew?! That's awesome! How come it's never out?!" The 'Ditto' connection didn't even cross her mind for the moment. Talk of legality and illegality was mostly ignored by the girl- pokéballs went to trainers; that was what she knew, and she knew she had to register to be a trainer, but it didn't seem like the League would be totally harsh to anyone (her mindset a little naive and simplistic on the issue) who treated their pokémon with respect, registered or not.

Defenses high, Dove refused to take Ray's 'know-it-all correction' as a friendly tease, and instead shook her head, gasping a little as she realized what Henrietta was adding to their meal. Quietly trying to preserve what she could, she stowed the marshmallows away beside her, hoping to gently put them out of reach for now as she listened to the conversation, freezing at Yuri's mention of Trill.
Shoot.
Jace's pichu had quickly waved and approached Breezychu, pleased to make acquaintance with another electric type and offered a loud and chipper 'chuuuu!'
The young male trainer, however, now sat in silence, staring at the ball in Yuri's hand and listening to the talk that came with it's appearance, his eyes widened as far as they could go and his jaw slackened. Setting Lovey aside and rising to his feet, he jumped up and down next to Yuri, his eyes trapped on the ball. "What, no way!!!! That's SO COOL-- you just found it laying there?!? Where did you get it?! That's so awesome-- That's so cool!!!!!!!!"
At Henrietta's question, Dove turned to look at the girl, moving the food from the fire so it wouldn't stick and burn as she fought for words. She had been keeping it a secret for a reason, hoping that Henrietta wouldn't get caught up in the mess behind it's creation, were their suspicions correct. With an apologetic look, she nodded, then pointed to the masterball on her belt. "That pokemon that I keep in there... It's not exactly a ditto." She had never said it was, though... she had never clarified that it wasn't.
Jace's young voice called out over the rest--or attempted to at least. "Yuri, you gotta open it! What if there's a Lugia in there?! Or Palika!?"
Dove turned her eyes back to the young boy, apprehension clear in her expression. Though she, too, was curious about the ball's contents, she wasn't sure releasing the pokemon inside-- if there was one-- was best here at their campsite... If it did, indeed, contain a pokemon of legend, there was no telling what it's disposition would be. "Maybe not... right here..."

Yuri definitely agreed with Ray but it was easy to see Dove's frustration.
"Hey, don't worry about it," he told her, though he doubted his word would help much.
Regardless, Yuri took a few steps away just. He had no idea what a Lugia or a Palkia were though.
In the next moment, the man triggered the release on the ball. Sure enough a blast of energy shot from the ball. The Pokemon quickly taking form.
It got larger and larger, Yuri's dark eyes tilting upward. A pair of wings then suddenly spread out and a loud shriek erupted from what was obviously a very big bird. The campfire suddenly flared, causing Astal to yelp in surprise and jump back. It's body shape unmistakably a Ho-oh but it's feathers were a mix of black, beige, reds, oranges, and yellows. The Pokemon the. Looking down and training it's fierce grey and white eyes on the humans.
Yuri stared up at the Pokemon with wide eyes, then deadpanned. "That's a big boy."

The moment the fire flared, Dove gasped and fell back, putting up an arm to avoid the spray of spark and flame, her own masterball still in hand. Thierry reared, letting out a surprised cry.
Jace watched, all his attention on the flash of light--though he did jump at the flare as well-- and the Pokemon that appeared, his eyes huge. "Whoa, that's a HO-OH!!!!" Legends of Ho-oh had begun and spread throughout Johto, and he had been raised with every tale. "Yuri, you got a Ho-oh!"
Dove stared at the massive bird, her eyes just as wide. Lovey stood frozen in place, just beside Jace and Rona darted back to her boy, hiding behind his leg and peering cautiously out. Aurora let out a soft growl of warning.

As the ball opened, Ray's visible eye widened lightly with a soft hum when it turned out that there was in fact a pokemon in the ball. Though as the Pokemon pulled into its full height, a massive dark bird towering over the group, its cry trembling the air. BreezyChu hopped up onto his trainers shoulder as the women stood with her arms crossed, watching the even unflinchingly, though with a growing frown of genuine concern of her face
Another Legendary, another Legendary in the wrong colors. she said it before, but this was not helping in proving her wrong. There was something bad going on on this Island, and it was involving these Legendary.
Unfolding her arms the tall women took a step forward toward the large Legendary. "Hello there, Can you talk?" She spoke up to it in a raise voice, so it could hear.
Double Stripe glanced around when he heard a soft growl from a pokemon, his green eyes rolling lightly he hissed sarcastically

Like Jace, Henrietta had lived her life in Johto, and Ho-oh was a familiar Legendary to her, at least in stories anyway. She looked at the huge bird with wide eyes, but unlike Jace, she couldn't quite get out the words to say anything about it.
She mumbled something incomprehensible.
A baby, Fluffster didn't know about legends yet either; she scooted behind Ray, peeked around and growled at the giant bird too, then decided she'd rather be near her trainer and did a quick shuffle run in that direction.
Gummy turned his head, blinked at one of the wings of the Ho-oh, then returned to his original position again, expression unchanged.
