"Wowza ... three times and he didn't totally obliterate an entire continent? Huh, John all your talks must be finally getting through to him," Sam chuckled, ignoring a small glare Khan sent their way and kept working, 'posing' a little for the watching guards. Never too early to start 'friendly negotiations'. "Oi, Arron! Don't go calling all the hot guys already!" she laughed over at the Koreans when she heard the familiar voices, though Fox was quite the 'silver fox' with his matured looks when compared to most of their age ranges, though he hardly had any wrinkles. The only real show of 'aging' was the silver peppered in his dark hair, otherwise he could pass for any doctor in his prime. He quickly put Arron to work helping him carry one unconscious comrade to one of the free undamaged pods for refreezing, despite any of Arron's sighs about having to do muscle work.

Khan was looking over the working groups and doing a quick count of now-open pods and those that still needed shuffling out of malfunctioning pods when he heard the familiar feminine squealing and looked over to see the little bundle of blond in John's arms that was soon running over towards him. "Mm. Maybe," he replied with an odd softness down at her before she scurried off to go sit near Kyle and Van, the short male somehow still managing to let out a stream of scientific thoughts and hypothesis about what the year was and whether or not the guards around them were pod people. Then, he got back to work with John, though with most of the awake crew helping it took hardly any time at all to empty the malfunctioning pods and fill the working ones. Well, all the malfunctioning pods except for one.

Khan walked over to John's side, and let the other open it only for Hamish, yes, the real Hamish because the young man still had the same speech patterns as he had when he'd been younger, and was grabbing at the both of them too strongly for it to not be the real Hamish. How Hamish got away ... how he got here, answers to that could wait until they were behind closed doors and not surrounded by men with guns. Oh, it was hard enough keeping just John safe but now to have so many to worry about-- Khan gave Kirk a rather long, coldy burning stare that promised many, many, horrible things should the Captain decide anything foolish ... before looking back down at Hamish and helping the boy up and out of the cryotube. "They say a lot of things, Hamish," Khan said with hardly-hidden bitterness over all the things he'd been told one time or another himself. "What's important is that we're together, and 'they' tend to lie more often than not."

Khan decided in the interest of not having the temptation to say something threatening or noting on Kirk's barely-noticeable ruffled appearance, to let John do the talking, as the other had been since John had woken up.

Van had blinked when the little girl came over, but not reacted beyond a: "Hello, Amy. Been awhile," while continuing to listen to Kyle's stream of conscious thought, ignoring the rest of what was going on in favor of keeping his thoughts on the comforting things around him instead of the discomforting things.

Bones collected his equipment back once everything was said and done, trying not to grimace when he was hit on by the 'Sam' that looked kind like a curvy male with a slightly womanly voice and no breasts but also having no adam's apple. Though he was a bit more chatty with Lana than any of the others before packing up his kit and walking over to where Jim was standing, Spock close to the Captain now, and sighed, looking at the gaggle of odd ducks, kids, and almost-normal people now gathered in their cargo bay. "Damn it Jim ... I sure hope you know what you're doing," the doctor said very quietly. It would be ... interesting getting all these folks to the quarantined hall, but hopefully once they got 'em all there Bones hoped things would be nice and quiet on the ship until they got the advice they needed on New Vulcan.

John helped Hamish as well, watching Khan carefully, he had a feeling that Khan was feeling quite a few pressure points at the moment and he was starting to think it was a very good idea that they had only let out eleven people. "People do lie but thankfully we are in a slightly better than usual situation. The man over there in the gold is Jim, he is the captain of the ship we are on, and he has been nice enough not to turn us into the authorities yet." John looked Hamish over to see if he was injured and was very glad to see that he was in fact alright. The boy leaned on John though, finding it easier to lean on the shorter male than his taller father, and he sighed. Hamish was quick to take things in, analyzing who was there and what was going on, it took very little time before he was standing up completely straight and running a hand through his hair.

Johns heart broke a little at the sight because this was no longer his little boy. Hamish had been barely twelve when they had lost him, they had thought he had been killed, that was years it seemed where he had time to grow up. Hamish smoothed out his shirt in a very John like fashion, very soldier like, then he looked back to the group that had been awoken. "So we are in a good place? This is not some fabricated lie? Have you made sure that this isn't some game the captain is playing at to see exactly how we react?" John nodded his head then ruffled Hamishes hair much to the boys displeasure. "Yes, yes I have, believe it or not I do have good sense about people Hamish and I sense that Jim is a good person and his crew will not be trying to run us off quite yet." John sighed as Hamish fixed his hair, whatever child like tendencies that they may have been there now gone.

Lana quite liked the doctor Bones that seemed to want to talk to her, he was quite ruggedly handsome, so when he walked she tailed a little behind him. Misha and Aaron talked quickly with each other in Korean as they tried to figure out what exactly was going on. Kyle held onto Amy as he babbled away, the little girl sitting in his lap, and Amy just played with his hair for a few moments. Everyone of them were on high alert, ready to jump at the drop of a hat, but it seemed that things were relativly calm. Amy pushed her way out of Kyls lap and ran over to John, Khan, and Hamish before pulling on Johns hand.

"Papa I am hungry." John chuckled and nodded grabbing her hand. "Look we will all need to talk when we get to our rooms but for now lets just… gather ourselves and go." John walked over with Amy to Jim and the others then smiled. "So this is some of the crew. All of them are doctors and scientists, well mostly doctors, and then mine and Khans kids." John ruffled Amys hair and she smiled up at him before looking at the others. "I am hungry. Can I have something to eat please?"

Jim, who was silently hoping they were right, crouched down in front of Amy so he was on her level and smiled. "Sure, what would you like?" Amy shifted a little then bit her lip before smiling widely "Can I have some veggies? Lots and lots! Papa used to make me soup some times with veggies but I don't think he will anymore…" Amy looked up to John hopefully then John just sighed. "Yeah okay I can another time." Amy nodded then looked to Jim. "And a grilled cheese… can I have that? I like those a lot!" Jim chuckled and nodded, knowing this was all very dooable, then motioned to someone to get everything ready for when John and Khan went back to their rooms.

Lana stepped closer, all blond hair and those big green eyes, before she smiled at them. "The pods should stay good for a long while but with Khans tampering they might start failing again. I know it is troublesome but I will have Kyle fix the problem before that happens so you do not have to worry about any of the others waking up at the moment." Lana pet Amys hair as she stood behind her, watching Jim stand back up and straighten out, before she guided the girl back to her father so that Jim and John could talk.

"We have enough rooms for all your people if they are willing to double up. Is there anything that you want to tell me about them before we do this?" John nodded and explained certain quirks in each person before he motioned to Aaron, Sam, and Misha. "The biggest worry for those three is their sex drive. Misha wont have sex, she has a partner in our tube, but she will flirt. Aaron… if it is attractive enough and a man he'll do it. End of story. Sam.. well Sam likes the men to so yeah. I will try to keep them in line but I can't promise they wont get out and have sex with any of your crew..." John shifted a bit then rubbed the back of his neck. "Also I need… I really need some help with Amy. More from your science officer and Bones here. She has super fast growth, too fast, we put her in that tube because… she's actually only three years old. I just need a way to stop it… just get her ageing normally." John gave Jim a slightly hopeful look.

(I wish I could see Khan with a baby... that would be so freaking adorable. Big scary Khan suddenly all squishy because of a baby.)

Khan watched Hamish interact with John, taking in the changes that had taken place since the last time they'd seen the boy. They'd never thought they'd see Hamish again, let alone see the boy grow up enough to act like such a little John; straightening himself up even after John ruffled his hair. It was interesting to hear Hamish's suspicious, ones Khan could imagine himself having if he'd been woken in such circumstances. As John took Amy's hand and walked over to where the Captain and his doctor and a**l half-alien were standing, Khan looked around to make sure none of the possibly 'problematic' of their number were doing anything foolish, before looking back at Hamish. He looked around the same age of the Russian he'd had the rather unfortunate confrontation with; the soldier-like precision wasn't something just inherited from John though. So Hamish must have had quite the ... experience, before eventually being frozen.

Where Hamish had been abd who he'd been around before going into his cryotube would likely give a big clue as to how he'd ended up amongst them, but for now Khan kept his questions to himself and instead filled Hamish in one some of the smaller details. Khan and John would likely tell the information multiple times to the different awakened crewmates, but Khan did not mind giving their son a completer picture of the situation. The year, starship name, how he himself had been, well, used as usual with the cryopods as leverage. Nothing very new, to be frank. And Khan was still keeping the more sensitive details to himself, though he stopped as Lana came back with Amy in tow.

Khan knelt down, and asked her if the Captain had been nice to her. Partially in mock-seriousness and partly in real-seriousness, because Khan was more than willing to find a way to get back at Kirk if the man upset their little girl. Though he doubted Kirk would be the kind of man what would upset a child, even one with such parents as him and John.

Bone's eyes widened a bit hearing the young girl was technically only three, but was already nodding before Jim replied. "That was a common problem with artificial-created kids a ways back; shouldn't be impossible to fix. Depending on what the scans show we'll either just need to fix her pituitary gland or give her full body some tissue therapy to slow down the rate of tissue growth and decay." The doctor spoke as if the processes he'd just mentioned would be straightforward procedures; never mind that the pituitary gland was smack-dab in the center of the brain, or that altering how a body's tissues worked sounded more something in the realm of impossible rather than possible. "If I can get her on a bio-bed and fully scanned, I'd say we could fix her growth rate ... on the outside of an hour. Less if it's just the pituitary gland that needs fixing."

Spock didn't comment, though he did look a bit fascinated; out of all the scenarios he never would've thought that some of the pods would hold children. Especially not, well, children so obvious belonging to Khan and John. John, John Spock could easily see as a family man. But Khan ...? It seemed almost ludicrous, and yet here they were.

Van was frowning, looking from where Sam, Aaron, and Misha looked to be eyeballing some uncomfortable guards over to where John was speaking with the captain. He was starting to feel antsy in this ... not-so-nice location with so many eyes on them from the security personnel. Van was not fond of having so much attention; at least not unless he was working on finding something. Then he didn't care who was looking at him or not. The thin man was jittery, beginning to drum his fingers on his legs as he sat. "t's cold 'n here," he commented to Kyle, voice unhappy but also slightly tense, "floor's hard too."

Hamish listened to his father and nodded along with the information, a simple tell to show he was listening even though his eyes seemed to be everywhere else, it was all very interesting to hear and slightly rage inducing. Hamish didn't like to know that he and his family were used against his father, even the family he had not yet known he had, Hamish just let it all roll off his shoulders though. There was no reason to dwell on what was already sorted, even less so because Khan had sorted it himself, so instead he just smiled when Amy came back over holding Lana's hand. The little girl grabbed onto Khan like she was keen to do, her mind and habits were still that of a three year old most of the time, and she nodded with a big smile.

"He got me veggies and a grilled cheese. Lana brought he back over here because they are talking about grown up things." Amy looked over at Hamish and Hamish crouched down next to his father so he could introduce himself to his little sister for the first time. "Hello Amy. My name is Hamish… do you know who I am?" Amy blinked, looked to Khan then back to Hamish, and then she hugged him. "You’re my big brother!" She giggled as she pulled away then bounced on her toes as Hamish smiled at her. Lana chuckled to herself at the sight, missing the way the family had interacted, she had been there when Amy was first brought back and to see big Khan carrying the tiny two year old had been… almost comical. Sweet but comical because Khan hadn't, at the time, known how to care for something so small. Thankfully John was always there to help so Khan had a good support system that made him a great dad to the little girl and Hamish at one point.

Kyle was chattering away when Van spoke and he went completely silent, always able to turn himself off on the drop of a dime when Van said something quietly, Kyle just smiled at the other with a slightly devious glint then attached himself to the other. It was easy for Kyle to do it, unlike others, because he had gotten Van used to all his touching a long time ago. While Kyle had been one of the very last experiments and Van one of the first Kyle knew he had a bit of a calming effect on the man even if most people found Kyle irritating.

"Don't think about the people, they aren't there, I already turned them to dust a while ago." Kyle chuckled and used as much of his tiny body as he could to wrap around Van to try and keep him warm.

Jim was a bit surprised to hear how easy Bones could solve Johns problem and it seemed that John was surprised as well. John seemed very glad though that they could stop Amys exponential growth so that they didn't have to worry about her being in so much pain all the time. Jim counted how many people were awake and then looked to John. "You can take care of that after everyone is settled. For now we should get you all moved and in proper clothes. Ill have some cots brought to your room, extra pillows and blankets, I am sure Khan would like to stay there with whatever system he had set up. Whoever wants' to stay with who is fine, I am sure you won't need eleven rooms, get your people ready and we will go."

John nodded, thanking Bones quickly, then shuffled over to the group that was milling around. "Alright we are moving to rooms now so let's go. Kyle can you keep your hold on Van? I told them not to let anyone touch him but some people are idiots. Van just…keep calm yes?" Lana chuckled at that while Misha and Aaron seemed excited to just get closer to the guards. Aaron popped up next to John grinned "I'll get a chance to talk to some of the guys right? It's been a while since I had a good tumble!" John shook his head and looked to Misha "Keep your brother under control. No sexual harassment." Misha pouted and then they were all moving to be escorted out of the cargo bay, most of them in their pajamas thanks to how they woke up, Kyle kept hold of Van though and guided the man between the group so that it was just the crew around them instead of the guards.

Khan gave a little smile to Amy as she correctly identified who Hamish had to be and gave her brother a big hug too, taking her hand as John came back over to explain they were going to move to the rooms now. Khan was just relived they could soon get everyone settled in the less-open location of the housing area where the less-stable of them could calm down a bit (aka Van) and the rest could get used to 'tomorrow's technology' ... hopefully without finding some poor unfortunate guard and jumping his bones in the meantime. Though with the way Khan saw Aaron and Sam going at it, it was clear they would not be contained. At least not without some stress-reliving tosses around in some of the ship's janitorial closets first.

Van blinked at Kyle's devious smile, knowing what that look meant, and just sighed as the shorter male then proceeded to cling to him as much as possible. The thin man looked vagule uncomforatable at first, but blinked and slowly nodded at Kyle's comforting words, closing his eyes and trying to close out the rest of the world besides the simple warm feeling of the familiar mad scientist at his side. He knew if he looked he could simply find the guards with his eyes, but the option if just pretending them all turned to dust thanks to one of Kyle's crazy lasers or other experiments was more comforting, so he embraced the fiction. Until he heard John's voice, telling them they were leaving. Van blinked his eyes open and held back a slightly disressed whine in leu of simply nodding at John's command for him and got to his feet, sticking as close as was possible to Kyle. However when Kyle started pulling him right into the middle of the group Van dig his heels in a little, clearly not really wanting to be that close to everyone else at this moment in time because his personal bubble was a rather large one. But he reluctantly let Kyle dragon him along to the spot with Khan and his little family up front, Misha and Aaron close to the guards on the left, and Sam with Fox strolling beside her trying to get one hunk-in-uniform's attention on their right. Daniel and Vincent took up the rear, pointing out observations about the ship build and arguing over whether the architecture was an improvement or downgrade compared to their previous ship.

Van shivered at how rather TOO CLOSE everything and everyone was while in the 'cramped' conditions of a hallway after the open space of the cargo hold, forcing his eyes downward and just staring at his nighttime slippers he had on his feet and just clinging to Kyle like a drowning man would to a life raft. Really it was lucky Van wasn't as strong as most of the others; otherwise the poor shorter male would've had his bones snapped thanks to this quick trip from cargo hold to the set-aside housing area.

Once there Khan paused as Bones approached John and his group, clearing his throat to get their attention. "I've let the guards know to let you pass when she's ready for the check-up," he said with a nod towards Amy. "Shouldn't be much trouble for you to head to the med bay, I trust. So far as the crew at-large is concerned, the only face they know out of your entire crew is your Captain. So if anyone else of your number needs any medical care, just have a guard escort them on over. I'll be on-call." Well, wasn't Bones being civil. But hey, even if he sure as hell didn't like the situation he wasn't about to take is aggression out on a little kid or on people who'd done nothing more than be flash frozen and found in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was a doctor, and that meant helping keep people healthy was important to him whether they (or Jim) liked it or not.

Van was just relived to have the chance to quickly get guided into a room where there were suddenly significantly less people around and even a bed and what looked to be a television-type object hanging on a wall! Van slowly de-tensed with a long sigh, cautiously going over to the screen and poking at it until some sort of playing video came one. Satisfied, Van found a couch and curled himself up on it, eyes on the screen as he watched some trash-tv film. The same way he liked Kyle's goings on and on while talking, Van could sit down and be left to his own devices to just de-stress in front of a television, so long as he had a comfortable place to sit and wasn't being observed by strangers.

Though the tv had no real cable; the Enterprise did have a loop of different movies and shows going on different channels though from a recorder feed inside the ship itself, for those who liked that sort of thing. Not many did though; hence why Scotty's room had no so 'tv'. Most were to busy with their work and hanging out in the rec room to bother paying extra for a large extra screen for their private room.

Sam quickly buddied up with Lana, claiming her as their 'roomie!' with a grin Aaron's way. Sam figured Lana could totally help attract hunks for her in her grand master plan to get laid way before Aaron, because clearly contests like that were the best way to have fun while stuck as 'special guests' on a ship.

Fox just shrugged and took himself and his grizzled good looks into the room Daniel and Vincent were poking their heads into; Vincent loudly deciding the room would 'do'.

Khan was just glad Bones was complying as well as could be expected, and already waiting inside their room was food not just for Amy, but enough to also hand out to the rest of their awake crew. With a diverse choice in foods as well.

*

Very few guards had been left with the remaining cryotubes since they'd been given the a-okay for being in working order. And they were; until a fist punched straight through the top of one, sending the lid flying several yards and nearly nailing one poor guy. The man inside the cryotube heaved himself out, skin slightly tearing and joints audibly popping as he seemed to roar and pull his mostly-frozen body out of the tube be force of will alone. He was only in boxers, but there were light scars visible across his arms and torso.

Hound was not happy to find himself someplace other than he remembered being, not one bit. His cryotube had been functioning alright but ... apparently not enough to keep the Hound down after the commotion of opening and closing tubes around him. He immediately went into hostile mode, seeing a puny group of five surrounding him with guns. Puny men, too. The hound was at least 1/3 bigger than most of them, and as he took a stiff step forward he felt one shot hit him--and warm him. Oh, how lovely. It almost tingled a little. As stun shot after stun shot went into his massive chest (enough to kill any normal person, since all the shots were hitting him at once) Hound shook his head and stiffly kept moving, the hits helping defrost him faster even if they did jolt and slow him down a little as they kept hitting him.

One security officer was tossed bodily at another, and a third was picked up and swung like some impromptu rag-doll weapon before getting tossed at the last guard, who had been yelling on his comm for back up.

Hound sighed at the sudden silence once all the guards were down; unconscious or worse, he didn't care. He shifted his shoulders and cracked his spine with a pleased sigh, feeling much better than he had after first busting out of his cryotube. Alright; on a ship with several other comrades in apparently hostile territory. No problem. Hound cracked his knuckles and headed for the cargo bay doors, intending to simply keep moving forward until he found the puny Captain of this vessel or the manual override for the ship's controls.

Misha, Aaron, and Kyle all decided to share a room once they were down the hall and able to get to the rooms. They had one of the larger rooms just because they wanted the space but soon after they were settled Kyle was running away to go watch over Van and get the man something to eat. He had bruises from the other grip that were quickly healing but he didn't mind so much because Van was able to stay calm with him. Kyle decided to make the other a simple sandwich and was glad to see the food that they had was something he could make into stuff. Kyle set the plate next to Van then sat on the other edge of the couch before leaning back to watch the show as well.

John looked to bones when he said that he could bring Amy by after everyone was settled in. Hamish headed into the room with Amy who was happily eating on what had been left for her already, the little girl very hungry after being flash frozen for so long, before he poked his head back out to watch John talk with Jim, Bones, and Spock. "Thank you very much, I am glad we can finally stop it, I just wish there was a way to reverse it all. She has the mentality of a three year old and it's going to be hard for her to adapt to everything." John sighed and Jim nodded, it was like that for all the kids like her, thankfully though the girl seemed to have parents that cared a great deal for her.

After everyone was set up Jim and the others left to their stations without really knowing what was going on in the cargo bay. John decided to take Amy to the med bay, Hamish following after, they were just rounding the corner when John heard a commotion and ushered Amy into med bay just in time for someone to be thrown bodily down the hall. John blinked then heard the shouting and he pushed Hamish into the med bay as well before hitting his comm. "Jim.. I think there is a problem.. I think.. I think one of our men got out! One of the not friendlies!" John saw another person get thrown and then he dashed down the hall and peaked around the corner before cursing and coming Khan who was back out there room.

"Khan guess who woke up from their nap? Hound! And right now he's tarring through the ship right near the med bay! You might want to get the others and get down here!" John pressed against the wall as someone else was thrown with a very unpleasant gash on their throat and then he heard the scream. Right through the comm he still had on and down the hall as Amy screamed from the sight of the poor fool who had gotten in front of the hound. The scream was instantly followed by tears, even as Hamish held onto her, and when the beast came around the corner Amy just screamed again because the hound had a fantastic habit of scaring the crap out of the little girl.

**

Jim got the call from John without much warning, he was sitting in his room hoping to get some sleep now that the disaster had been sorted, when John told him one of the not so nice guys decided to wake up without warning. He heard the conversation with Khan and then he heard the screaming, loud and piercing, and he had a feeling that what ever had just happened involved the little girl he had just seen. Jim jumped off his bed and didn't even bother pulling on the rest of his uniform as he headed for toward the med bay to make sure what ever was going on was taken care of. He was almost barreled down by Lana and the others as they ran to go contain this man. Though the sound of the second scream was much closer and not over the com, as well as followed by the sound of sobbing, Jim just had to wonder how Khan would react to his daughters screaming so he followed but stayed back a bit as the istuation was handled.

Van turned his head when he heard the door open, alert, before calming and looking back to the screen when it was just Kyle. The finder kept watching the odd sitcom-ish show apparently about alien brothers and their human-female flatmate, reaching over and robotically picking up the plate and munching on the sandwich Kyle had made for him. Van enjoyed the familiar taste of the ingredients Kyle was most likely to use, crunchy vegetables with soft bread and the added flare of some of the usual seasonings. Van individually found and identified each flavor until he was sure he'd missed nothing, then settled to finishing his sandwich while watching the familiar antics of people doing nonsense on screen. He quite enjoyed the tv people even if they often made no sense to his fractured mind most of the time; they never tried to touch him. Sure, Kyle touched him, but Kyle was alright. The other had grabbed and held and playfully poked, and sometimes bit him many, many times without the usual horrible things happening, so that meant Kyle was allowed to touch him and be inside his bubble. Very few people were allowed inside the bubble; Amy, Hamish, sometimes others of their crew on good days. On great days one could almost imagine him a nearly fully-functioning human being, if very twitchy and touchy about space.

Van was very much enjoying the peace and now-full stomach when he flinched a little when he heard Khan yelling: "Hound's loose" outside in the hall, likely to get everyone moving as quickly as possible. Van stood, eyes big because Hound was big and tended to ... grab people. But he moved as if to go, because Hound being loose was also not a good thing--

But it would likely be better for Kyle to tell Van to sit and stay because in the mayhem the Hound was unboutably creating Van would loose it and having two of their crew having problems in one place would not be a good thing to happen.

Sam hurried out of her room and Khan waited for them to gather before hurrying towards the med bay, no need to elaborate on the situation. They all knew Hound well enough to know this was a containment mission; trying to get Hound down before the mess got out of hand. Well ... any more out of hand than it already was, and it was far too gone for Khan to be happy. He'd already heard Amy's screaming through the comm and was more than ready to pound the Hound for thoughtlessly scaring his little girl and exposing her to violence unnecessarily.

*

Hound was tossing anyone in his way left and right, shrugging off phaser blasts and keeping his forward momentum. The ship's build was nothing like the one he'd been on with Khan and the others, but he was confident if he kept his progress quick and merciless he'd manage to get to his objectives. He'd been in 'work mode', just pushing forward and hardly caring how damaged the people who dared to get in his way. The first scream blended with the rest, but once he came around the corner and actually saw the little girl that was screaming out and crying he froze because: oh s**t. Oh s**t, because he hadn't seen that girl in years but she was his kid and if he knew Hound had made her cry again--

Then some idiot too a pot shot at him and the hound turned to obliterate the sorry sonofabitch, forgetting a moment and getting back to just trying to push forward when someone hurried and grabbed him around the neck, nimbly having gotten close enough to get onto his back while he'd been distracted.

"I could use a little help here guys!" Sam yelled out, mentally thinking this was not what they'd had in mind when they'd said they wanted to 'ride a hunk' tonight. Of course Hound twisted and smacked at the others as they all tried to gang up on him to bring him down, Khan marched forward and gave Hound a swift kick to the gut, then a very sound knuckle-cracking punch the the temple, ruthlessly hitting the other's soft spots hard enough to get Hound down long enough for the rest to just pile on top of the massive man so he stayed down until he calmed down. Khan hurried over to Hammish and Amy, looking the two over in a quick examination while most people were watching to make sure Hound stayed down and medical personnel were rushing out to aide those that had been taken out by Hound's rampage.

Khan sighed in relief when it looked like his little girl was more scared than really hurt, picking her up and hugging her close and looking around for John ... and, you know, glaring at anyone who was looking at him funny. So much for most of the ship not being let known he was still 'on the loose'. At least the security personnel weren't about to go at him after so many of them had been tossed around already. Khan waited until Amy had calmed a bit and John had turned up, handing her over to the blond before approaching the dogpile and glaring down where Hound's head could be seen.

"Calm now?"

"... yessir," Hound coughed, still not sure on the specifics of exactly why they were apparently on a semi-hostile ship (semi-hostile because he'd been fired upon ... never mind he'd busted out of a cryotube and hadn't listened to whatever the guards had been saying) but not about to argue with Khan on the matter after he'd made the rather dangerous man's little girl cry. Hound was sure he was lucky Khan hadn't torn out his appendix ... yet. He was sure Khan was going to definitely be ... not too gentle with him later for this. Where Amy wouldn't have to see.

"Well then, get up and come on," Khan sighed, not pleased to have such a ... violent member of the crew out, and quickly glaring at Sam and Aaron before those two could get any ideas about sneaking off, and motioned for his crew to march Hound back to their part of the ship. Though Khan paused a moment, glancing towards Lana and the doctors of his crew before glancing at the medics running around, and frowning. But frowning with a loose shrug; Fox read the movement as an open option to help if they wished to.

"Well big boy time for us to clean up your mess," he said 'scolding' up at the Hound before scurrying off and assisting the medical staff, Dan smile while Vincent sighed long and sufferingly, but both also went off.

"You three," Khan said quickly at Sam, Arron, and Misha, "Come with me to get Hound ... settled."

*

Bones was, understandably, now a bit busy and hurrying around assisting with the worst injured, wincing as the broken bones and such that had come from hard throws or falls onto unfortunate stuff. He and the med staff would have their hands full for a while.

"Well, what do you think," Spock said from right behind Kirk, apparently having shown up soon after the Captain but ad also held back to see what Khan would do. Logically, Spock could see that if he'd wished, the superhuman could've easily used this moment to take the ship. But he had not. Spock still did not entirely trust Khan but ... at least it looked like the truse they had was holding, baring unexpected circumstances.

Kyle was minding his own business and watching the show when he heard the noise from Khan saying that hound had broken out. That was great, just fantastic, but the moment he saw Van stand to go and help Kyle shook his head and steered the other back to the couch so that he wouldn’t leave. He sat him down then handed the man a cup of tea he had been brewing and pat the man's head lightly. "Just stay here. You know how the hound is and no one wants you having a break down." Kyle smiled widely then heard Aaron pounding on the door and shouting at him to get out of the room before Hound destroyed the entire ship. Kyle gave Vans shoulder a pat then bounced right out of the room and almost into Aaron who was still at the door. The others were already ahead of them but Aaron and Misha had waited for the red head before they took off after Khan and the other.

Lana was up front with Sam and when the smaller of the two jump Lana got the hound in the back of the legs to try and get him down. Of course the screaming from Amy only fueled Khan who came running and with him help everyone piled on top of the dog except for Lana who knew hound would be held down well enough without her. Instead she took Johns place with a security officer and watched as several men came running out in blue to help get the downed men up while John cleaned the blood off of himself then ran over the Khan and Amy who was easily passed over to him and clung to John like a scared bear cub.

Hamish gently rubbed Amy's back as he glared at Hound, he really didn't like that the man had scared his sister, but then again Amy was only scared of Hound when he got angry. Otherwise the little girl loved to be around the big man, told him to read her stories a few times, most people didn't get that comfortable but Amy saw the softer side in everyone and was able to pull it out with ease. John really wished he had his little toddler though, the little girl she was mentally, he was so worried she would have a hard time adapting to the strange way her body was growing.

When everyone calmed down Misha decided to help as well with patching up the security gaurds because it was sort of their fault seeing as Hound was one of their men. John on the other wasn't going to stay behind and once the hound was up everyone was guiding him back to a safe place so that he wouldn’t be any trouble to the crew… except John because John needed to stay with Amy and get her problem solved sooner rather than later. John waited though while all the security officers were seen too. He was glad to know Hound hadn't killed them, just injured a few and knocked most of them out, so when Bones was done looking them all over John was sitting there with Amy, and Hamish, waiting.

John set Amy down on the bio bed and smiled down at her. "Were going to fix you right up. No more aches and pains sweety okay? I need you to do what Bones say's though, he's nice, don’t worry okay." Amy nodded then gave Bones a very Sherlockish skeptical look before putting her hands over her eyes. "I'll be very still. I'll go into my castle." Amy smiled and giggled, wiggling a bit, then went still like he was asleep. John sighed and moved her hands to her sides, her eyes still open, there was a specific word to pull her out of her castle. Khan had taught her how to do that a long time ago to escape the pain and she could pull herself out or be pulled out by a word.

Hamish knew the same trick but unlike Amy he didn't shut everything out when he hid away in his mind palace, he was more like his father and used it to his advantage instead of an escape, John stood back and let Bones do what he needed to.

Jim watched the interaction and found it almost refreshing because Khan seemed perfectly keen to keep the crew safe for the sake of his family. Jim leaned against the wall and watched everyone rush about as Spock came up. "It's… truly unique. Khan will do anything for his family, this was all done for family, and he tries to play that John is the only spot he is week for but I can tell that all of these people are something close to him. What he told us in the brig… I don't think that was a lie. I think that was part of who he used to be coming through, showing us he was still human, making clear that Khan was not a monster no matter how much he played to be. He's not a good man but he is not without humanity." Jim pressed a hand to his chest as he spoke, finding it strange that his heart was still pounding after he had finished running so long ago.

Jim only half listened to what ever Spock had to say before he was pushing slightly off the wall. Everyone was moving in and out of the med bay but Bones had gone in with John and Jim was thinking he needed Bones at the moment. Jim went to head that direction and tripped over nothing, his legs not working quite right, his vision was going black and he grabbed Spocks arm for balance before completely crumpling to the ground like a marionette released from it's strings.

Van blinked as Kyle blocked him and herded the older genetically-altered male back to his seat, half-opening his mouth as if to protest, or to look for an answer as to why he couldn't help hunt down the Hound. Sure, Hound was not a very hard individual to find, but finding things was still fun-- Ah. Yes; Van remembered now. Don't want to cause trouble. And he didn't like breakdowns, even if he--thankfully-didn't remember much of what happened during them. Van sighed but took the offered tea and sipped at it while Kyle gave him a pat and grinned at him with at usual cheerful deminor the shorter male had. Van leaned back on the couch and watched Kyle hurry on out before turning his gaze back to the television, sighing to himself. Even if Van did not like people in his personal space, he still liked helping however he could. But after getting defrosted and having the rather rude shock of their new environment Van was feeling tired enough that after he'd finished his tea he only investigated around his room a little bit before flopping onto the bed and curling up on top of the covers. He left the tv on, the background noise of laugh tracks and people talking calming more than silence would have. In complete silence he tended to get paranoid about something or someone possibly sneaking up on him and couldn't properly fall asleep.

*

Khan marched Hound back to the 'quarantine' hall and just pointed to one of the free rooms (sharing space with Hound would hardly be easy for anyone, considering the grizzly man took up so much space) and gestured for Arron and Sam to explain things to the big guy ... and keep him (and in extension the sex-fiends as well) out of trouble. Khan himself went to his own room and sat down with a sigh for a moment, pinching the bridge of his nose. Well at least he he'd been successfully, 100%, not bored for a bit. Though soon he was back flipping through the security feeds, keeping an eye on things.

*

Bones walked into the little private room where John and 'the kids' were waiting, giving Amy a smile as he asked her to lay down on the bio bed for him. The doctor couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the rather sharp skeptical look the girl gave him, almost looking her physical age for a second before doing something very atypical. At least, of most human kids it wasn't normal. Watching the scan data as it was shown across the little screen Bones had, the doctor nodded to himself. "The problem's rapid cell growth and decomposition. Should be simple enough to slow down her tissues; just have to grab something," Bones muttered half to himself, walking to a drawer where he'd put the possibly-necessary supplies earlier, and pulled out what looked to be nothing more than two scanners. Bones first used the Detronal scanner to get a solid blueprint of Amy's genetics, then input that data from that scanner into the second one. "Old-fashioned stuff; haven't needed to use it in ages, except for the rare bout of cancer. Some concept; stopping the cells from multiplying before extracting the mutated tissue. But in this case we're just using this to slow down cell growth and not stop it completely. You're lucky you managed to stop her around ten; if she'd hit puberty this would've been hell of a lot harder to pull off," Bones said with a nod towards John, then looked at the little girl. "So, she ... meditating? Can she feel anything like ... that? Because I've got to say the feeling of getting cells slown down isn't painful, but it isn't pleasant either."

Hearing the girl was, well, not going to feel a thing made Bones give a low appreciative "damn" at such a 'talent' before turning on the second scanner and vary carefully moving it slowly up and down the girl's still form. He watched the readings it gave him and was ready to keep doing this for a while yet when he heard someone say his name sharply from the doorway. Bones was about to cuss the Vulcan out--this wasn't something he could do half-way and leave fore later--when he saw Jim totally out and cradled in Spock's arms. McCoy blinked, quickly going through the options in his head.

"Get him on a bed," McCoy snapped quickly, then hit a button for another free doctor to come in and finish what he'd started. Bones explained Amy's situation quickly and effectively before hurrying out to another private room where Spock was already getting the biobed scanning for the problem. Bones looked at the scanned picture of Kirk's body and vitals before cursing, quickly grabbing a hypo and sticking Kirk with it. "Damn it Jim you are not going into cardiac arrest on me! What the hell happened?!"

"He fell unconscious with his heart showing signs of tachycardia," Spock answered promptly, trying to get out of the way as McCoy worked on getting Kirk stabilized. <******** tachy--Just damn it all. Jim? Damn it Kirk, can you hear me," Bones was saying while watching the screen showing any changes in vitals. "The one damn time I don't want him sleeping after days of not keeping the damned idiot down--"

John was a bit surprised to hear that things were going to be relatively simple to fix Amy up. He was also happy that he had thought about puberty when Khan and him had frozen her, assuming if they wanted to fix her later it would be harder with her going through puberty, really being a doctor himself probably saved his little girl a lot of trouble. When Bones asked about what Amy was doing John just chuckled and answered him smoothly. "She can't feel a thing and I guess you could say it's like meditation." John gently stroked Amy's hair then watched Bones work before suddenly they were interrupted and he saw a very unconscious Jim in Spock's arms. John watched Bones rush around, asking for a new doctor to work on Amy before running out, it was strange to see Jim so still after only having ever seen him moving around. John could see it though, could see he was sick, and he wondered why Jim was hiding it.

**

Jims heart rate was sporadic when he was first set on the bio-bed, the machine instantly wailing out it's codes, it seemed like it wasn't getting any better either until Bones jabbed him with a Hypo. His vitals stayed at the high rate they were at for a while longer but it started slowing soon after Bones was telling him to wake up. It was still very high and Jim was still unconscious but after a minute of anticipation and holding their breath his heart rate carefully dropped back into place and Jim slowly opened his eyes. He blinked twice before he was vomiting over the side on the bed and holding a hand to his chest.

"Oh god. Who did the tango on my chest!" Jim groaned, being used to throwing up in med bay and just….several other places after drinking or away missions. Jim tried to stay with his upper body mostly handing off the bed, his shoulders at least, and batted away attempts to straighten him out before he gave in and just flopped onto his back. "What happened? I was in the hall talking to Spock and now I am here feeling like I just had a line of tap dancers crush my ribcage." Jim groaned again and this time threw up in a bucket when he leaned over the side because someone was being mindful of the mess apparently.

((omg so short D smile )

After some time between fifteen and twenty minutes of carefully working on the girl, the replacement doctor finished and told John and Hammish they could take Amy back to thier rooms now, and that she might be feeling a little tingly for the next hour or so after the treatment, but otherwise she should be fine.

*

Bones had never been so relived to see someone vomiting in all of his life. Not that it helped his cursing much after he and Spock had managed to get Jim properly back-down on the bio bed. "Damnit Jim," the doctor said weakly, looking worn after the scare he and Spock had gotten. Luckily the Vulcan was getting a bucket and placing it promptly before the Captain was heaving again. "One of these days you're going to give me a heart attack, and then where will we be?" Shaking his head, the doctor waited until vomited turned into painful-sounding dry-heaving until Jim calmed down and looked like he could actually sit still for a second and listen without trying to make his inside come outside through his stomach system. "You nearly went into cardiac arrest Jim. If Mr Jolly Elf over there hadn't gotten you here so fast I'm not sure how bad it could've been. Damn it Jim ... you're going to have to stay in the med bay. Don't you argue with me! Look I'm as happy about this as you are, but if you can't even rest yourself properly enough to keep your heart from going into a very unhealthy overdrive I've got to keep you where I can at least try to keep your a** alive when you push yourself too hard!!"

Bones as panting, glaring at Jim a few quiet moments before sighing and turning to head out and grab a clean-sweeper to eradicate the vomit Jim had deposited on the floor the first time.

Spock was quiet, but took a step closer to the bed once Bones had marched off probably to calm down as well as to get a cleaning implement. "... At our current rate of travel, you should only be confined for roughly forty-eight hours," he said, perhaps trying to cheer Jim up. Not that now was exactly a good time for Spock's lame attempts since Jim had basically just been shouted at for nearly-dying yet again.

Jim felt scolded, honestly scolded, when Bones shouted at him about staying in med bay and the scare he gave everyone. He still felt horrible and sick, he wanted to lay down in his own bed and just drift away, but it seemed he would be stuck in med bay AGAIN for an undetermined amount of time. It was irritating and Jim wanted to protest, wanted to say something, but instead he just watched Bones leave because sighing in exasperation at the thought of having to stay still for so long in the med bay. He hated this place, made the panic worse, so he didn't know why Bones thought he would be able to stay there for more than just a few minutes.

Jim had almost forgotten Spock was with him when the other spoke up about how soon they would be to New Vulcan and how long Jim would be stuck in the med bay. It didn't help, not at all, but he could pretend if he tried hard enough that Spock meant a few minutes more and not hours. "That’s good to hear… I don't want to stay here still though." Jim huffed and shook his head, the option not really his to take, then he crossed his arms and waited for Bones to come back so he could pester the doctor out of keeping him for so long.

**

John watched the procedure, glad that it was going well, and then when the doctor said that they were done he nodded. John gently stroked Amy's hair and told her it was all done just to have her pull out of her own head and look up at him with a smile. "Am I better now?" John nodded with a grin and helped Amy to the ground. Hamish walked behind the two as they headed back to their rooms, happy they didn't have to worry about Amy's ageing anymore, and when the little girl got back to her father she ran in and hugged him tightly. "They fixed me! No more aches! I feel tingly but all better!" Amy smiled up at Khan and John just chuckled before he flopped down on the bed.

He was feeling tired unlike the rest of his family, today had been eventful, and while the other three didn't need to rest every day John was still woefully mostly human so he needed his rest. "To much excitement in one day. I am starting to feel my age so time for me to sleep." John chuckled a bit and Hamish just shook his head looking around the room for something he and Amy could do. Soon the two were sat at the table playing with the cards and making card houses to entertain themselves.

"So sudden cardiovascular distress and unconsciousness along with the possibility of severe bodily harm without warning is preferable to you?" Spock asked as tactlessly as ever when Bones returned, the doctor taking one look at Jim and just said: "No," Before Kirk even had a chance to open his mouth first.

"Look Jim unless you can convince some poor idiot to keep constant watch on you for however the hell long it takes us to get to New Vulcan I swear I will restrain you down on that bed if I have to," Bones sighed, taking care of the mess quickly before putting the broom-ish contraption off tot he side. "And it ain't going to be me; I need some damn sleep too, in case you haven't noticed."

((Que puppy eyes likely aimed at Spock))

*

Hound had been de-briefed, and also gotten the stuffing kicked out of him by Khan before the little family returned. So currently Van was snoozing in his room, Fox was nursing a grouchy Hound, Sam had gone MIA to likely try hunting down some poor man (not too surprising), Vincent and Daniel were holed up trying out the odd 3D checkers board they'd found, and Khan was waiting patiently in his own room when John and the kids came back. The deadly human being smiled that rusty smile; the kind of smile one had when they hadn't been doing so often, and pat Amy on the head. "That's great news."

Though as John went over to the bed and the kids started entertaining themselves, Khan walked over to John to just lightly stroke the other's hair a moment. Silent and just wanting the reassuring touch before turning to head back to his mess of wires and the hacked screen. And sighed when he spotted Sam flirting with some very confused security officer, before looking for more important information. Though he'd already gathered quite a lot, but information was a great weapon to have just in case things went south.

Jim groaned at Spocks words and nodded "Yes actually it would be preferable to staying in the med bay Spock. Believe it or not I don't actually like this place, even though I end up here all the time." Jim chuckled a little and when Bones came back he almost pouted at the others complete refusal to let him out unless… well Spock did seem the willing type and maybe Jim could convince the man… hmmm. Jim looked to Spock, knowing the other would catch on, and gave him one of his "Please help me?" smiles he found often worked on the Vulcan.

"It will do me more harm to stay in the med bay so maybe you can… you know watch me and stuff? Make sure I don't have another cardiac arrest?" Jim could find logic in it, but then again he just had a relative heart attack so maybe he wasn’t thinking clearly, he didn't really care though because the last thing he wanted to do was have another panic attack because he woke up in the med bay. Didn't matter that it was safe, that it was just a nightmare, he didn't like the anxiety that built when he stayed in the too clean, bright, area for more than a few minutes.

**

John was a bit surprised by the soft touch from Khan, the stroking of his hair reminding John of many times before when Khan had done that, he chuckled and gave Khans hand a gentle squeeze before letting the man wander off. Sometimes it astounded John just how gentle the lurking beast could be, weather it was with him or their children, it was just so strange to see. Then again John had always known that Sherlock could be gentle despite his edges, there had been incidents while chasing Moriarty that John had needed that gentle nature and Sherlock had delivered happily.

John looked even that far back and he felt a fool to think that it took them so long to make that final step to where they were. They waited so long to finally admit that they loved each other and it made John feel almost ridiculous that he had ever thought Sherlock, or Khan, had not wanted more than what they had. John sighed as he drifted off to sleep, his mind thinking over all the times that Khan had found him bruised and broken then just held onto him because he was alive.

It was hard the first time, that very first time, and it took John a long while to recover mentally but Khan had held out patience. It helped them both that John only allowed him close, that for that time John was dependent on him, it would have been easier if John had let the barrier down and just allowed himself to love Khan like he wanted to.

Spock could not see what possible logic Kirk had with disliking the med bay, besides perhaps greatly objecting to all of the hypos that got stuck into him while he was here. But even then surely some poking and prodding could be put up with in the greater interest of preserving ones life? The Vulcan turned to Bones as the doctor all but stormed in, McCoy of course not wanting Kirk to illogically leave the med bay after the episode he'd just had.

But ... then Spock felt Jim's eyes on him and turned his gaze back to the bedded Captain, only to see that usual pleading smile on Kirk's face. As the Captain of course put forth the suggestion Spock could play 'house nurse' for the next two days or so until they got to New Vulcan, of course Spock went through the pros and cons of actually giving in to such demands through his head. Kirk would be best left here where well-trained medical assistance was readily available. 'Liking' or 'not liking' being in the med bay was irrelevant when Kirk's health was in such an erratic state.

... Then again Kirk was still giving that stupid 'save me' smile, despite the fact that Jim was currently in the safest place on the ship he could be in his current condition. Spock did not sigh, but it was clear if he was prone to often making such displays he would be doing so right now. Heavily. "Doctor McCoy, in the interest of insuring both you and the Captain get the necessary rest required for--"

"If you say anything along the lines of 'frail human beings' I am going to punch that stupid flat face of yours," Bones replied, waving a finger in Spock's direction before throwing up his hands in defeat. "I'm going to actually sleep and if I get some damned comm ping about you" a glare Kirk's way, "managing to somehow make yourself worse so help me I'll inflict the horrors of 21st Century medicine on you!" With one last hard nod, the doctor turned and left, leaving Spock to look at Kirk.

"Considering Doctor McCoy's numerous complaints, it's rather odd he still has not put in a transfer request," Spock commented, thinking a man who seemed to so clearly hate himself at at many times Kirk (and flying on a ship in general; Bones had voiced his aviophobia several times to anyone who cared to listen) would eventually move to a different line of work.

Spock did not wait for Kirk to get to his feet. Instead the Vulcan walked over and proceeded to pick the Captain up, despite any protests. "Would you prefer I retrieved a hoverchair for you?" Spock asked, knowing Kirk would decline the more obvious show of being injured. After such a cardiac event, Spock was not about to let Kirk walk around and possibly undo the work of whatever drugs Bones had pumped into the Captain had done. So, the Vulcan carried Kirk easily through the med bay, halls, and to the other's room, also easily ignoring any looks they got for it.

Spock went to Kirk's bedroom and put the Captain down there, before holding out his hand with a small, electronic device on it. It was a heart-monitor of sorts with a little alarm that would go off if the wearer's heart-rate or blood-pressure altered dangerously. "It attaches to your neck," Spock informed Kirk, before walking around the bed ... and laying down next to Kirk without a word, as if such action was to be expected. Spock just make himself comfortable while moving a pillow behind himself to more easily prop himself up as he pulled out a small pad to do some paperwork ... particularly regarding the human damages caused and such.

((Hm~ Shall we skip to next day or when we reach New Vulcan? Either way I wanna make Van being a little stir crazy once he's used to the 'new environment' and perhaps Sam and/or Arron prowling the ship halls. Perhaps running into a poor Chekov~ Or Chekov talking to John; which leads to perhaps talking to Hammish, seeing as their both the same age and smart boys =D ))
