Aiden pulled himself momentarily from his thoughts to look up at the man who had reentered the room with cake. "Whatever," he said simply in reply to his question of food. His mind was on more important things at the moment. Not to mention, he had been living on the streets for some time, getting little more than chips and snacks from corner stores for dinner. He would honestly be fine with whatever food he was given. "Oh, what's your name?" asked Aiden, looking to the man for his answer now.

Aiden smirked slightly when Sullivan mentioned his nickname. What an adorable nickname it was...Sully. The thought of this man going by such a ridiculous nickname was entertaining to the child. Still, he tried to hide his smirk by tilting his head down quickly. When Lilly spoke up about dinner, Aiden looked up at her, his smirk gone again. A nice homemade full dinner would be quite amazing, he thought to himself...but he could settle for cake if that was all they gave him. The boy glanced to Sully now, secretly hoping he'd approve of Lilly cooking dinner. He was quite happy, of course, to hear the man's approval. Aiden looked down at his own body at the man's next words. He called him empty looking? Sheesh...he knew he was hungry, but did he really look so starved? The child looked back up to Sullivan with a rather blank expression. He wasn't sure how to react to the comment. It almost sounded like an insult...but he really was quite hungry. Whatever...he was getting a real dinner, so he'd let it slide this time. "Hmph..." The boy actually was a bit happier now.

Aiden's eyes darted to Lilly when she approached him. He didn't like her referring to him as 'sweetie'. He frowned slightly, showing his disapproval. "I'd prefer you not call me that..." he sighed in irritation as he shifted positions from leaning against the counter to standing up straight. He glanced to Sullivan and back to Lilly. "...I do like mashed potatoes though..." he mumbled softly, turning his eyes away from both of them. Then, the boy looked quickly back to the couple. "Oh yeah. My name is Aiden," he said, remembering that he hadn't introduced himself.

Aiden watched the woman head to the kitchen. He looked back to Sullivan when he spoke. It only figured that the first people he would try to scam like that would be thieves themselves. "Hm? How long?" the child looked away from the man as he thought. He wasn't really sure how long he'd been a thief. "Well, I guess its been about half a year...but I stole a lot before," the child was trying not to say too much. He didn't plan to tell this man much about his past. "I've only done pickpocketing though, and stealing food and stuff from small stores like gas stations." The child sat down on the floor now, his back against the counter. He looked up at Sully. "What kind of work will we be doing?"

We steal things people wont miss...but other people will love to buy here...Or they themselves tend to buy back then we steal again...But if there is a job you want to do...1 out of every 3 jobs you can decided on what to steal and how we do it..

He leaned against the counter and looked down at Aiden...

But keep in mind...nothing they will come looking for...that is never a good thing...besides...Items people love to have and have no use or sentimental value for...it almost feels like it's not a crime...

Aiden nodded in agreement to the man's words. He could see that this man was not stupid. He'd be a good coworker...if he didn't attempt betrayal. Aiden still didn't really trust the man, as was his nature. However, this alliance would be a good source of money. He even got shelter, a gun, and dinner for joining this guy and his wife. "So when and where is our first job?" asked the child, leaning his head against the counter as he looked up at the man.

"Let's do it. Is there a plan I should know about?"
