[The Time Vortex]

Meredith walks down the nature trail, taking in the peaceful scenery of the snowy forest. when suddenly there is an explosion of noise in the bushes a little ways up the path - scuffling, hissing, and a scream of defiance that is quickly cut short. Gosheven jumps in front of her, his ears twitching in alarm, while Nikita looks a little confused and stays behind her new trainer. Suddenly a Sneasel lurches out of the bushes, backwards, falling to the ground and not rising. Clearly it has been defeated by some opponent, which is now retreating swiftly the way it came. Meredith cautiously approaches the fallen Pokémon's side, gently lifting it up once she's sure it's safe to do so and carrying it down the path to where she can better tend to its wounds. Gosheven trails behind her, keeping a wary ear out should the Sneasel's unseen attacker change its mind and come after Meredith, shepherding the sleepy-eyed Swinub along at the same time.

[Hot Springs]

Lex was not one to miss of something free, and certainly not something such as free admissions to a Ski Range. Not much interested in the great outdoors, he had froze his butt long enough about an year or two back, he had sauntered to the hot springs. Hot water and smuggled in tiny bottle of sake sounded like a wonderful time.

He had changed into a pair of well fitting grey shorts with violet trim. Long enough to cover everything, short enough that his koi tatoo on the inside of his thigh played peekaboo, the tip of the fin flickering in and out of sight as he moved.

He was wearing his ' I lost an eye' replacement eye, partly because of the new derma piercing at the corner of that eye and partly because he liked ******** with people. An fully purple eye, no white, no pupils, really messed with people. So with Sideways toting his pokeballs in a harness wrapped around the Flareon, waist. Lex walked out of the changing room, little bottle in his grip and headed to the pool.

Isaac made a pleased noise as he happily sat down nearby, now that Viktor had easily agreed to his presence. he noted with some amusement. It was so nice and interesting to see how some humans got so into the various holidays.

Abel half-turned at the greeting and, seeing it was aimed at him, offered a wave and a "hey" before proceeding to the bar. Perhaps the large man would join him later, or maybe he would join him instead once his company left - he didn't really want to bother them both at the moment, though he had a sneaking suspicion the other blond wouldn't mind being bothered even a bit.

Nicolette nodded and fell quiet a moment, recalling how busy she herself had been. "Everyone seems to be busy," she noted, watching her little Luvdisc coo happily at the attention and bob up and down in the water under Rosie's touch. The small water-type so enjoyed attention.

She, too, raised her head to watch as a girl approached then ran off - in barely anything! - to go catch a pokemon in the cold and snow. Nicolette couldn't imagine doing that, it was much too cold! And then more people were joining them - men this time - and she squirmed a little as a blush crept quickly into her cheeks. It wasn't too bad wearing something so revealing - in her opinion, considering she typically never showed any skin at all - when it was just her and Rosie, but now other people, including guys, were getting into the springs. She didn't really know how to feel about that except being somewhat embarrassed.

The first thing she noticed were his clothes. While she may have lost all her wealth when her family went bankrupt, she could still easily spot quality, expensive clothes at a glance. It helped, of course, that she had been very into fashion in those days and anything too cheap, in price or in quality, had been harshly criticized.

The second thing she noticed was the fact he'd started talking. A quick glance showed he was looking in Dith's direction, and though she raised her glass of water to her lips, age refrained from taking a sip for the moment and instead spoke over its rim, "Pretty sure that one came from Russia."

[Andre, Zacharie, Citrine]

Inked eyes watched as Zacharie moved off in the aid of a girl who had fallen int he snow, making no move to stop him, though feeling the awkward chill of being left alone with his elder brother.
As the man spoke, Jerome moved his gaze back slowly toward the man, not really paying mind as to this Grand Ile place, It was true, he had never heard of it and likely had no reason to ever go there, so Andre's comment was fare enough, but catching the question about where he was from Jerome gave a single jerk of his head in a nod.
"yea- from round the place I met Zacharie." He replied, taking a moment to once again look Andre up and down before he shifted his weight, and looked back over toward his partner, who now seemed to be speaking to the girl.
"Kid got m'self n'some trouble."

that was a bit of an understatement, it was hard to forget the state that Jerome had found Zacharie in before he took him back to HQ.

Taking a step back, Jerome too strolled away from Andre, and over to where Zacharie and a young girl with green hair was standing.
"yo" He muttered to the younger man.

Rosie gave Nicolette a kind smile at her comment, catching the quiet tone she held with it "Its a good busy though, its nice that things are going pretty good recently, yeah?"

The blond too took notice as more guests started to join them in the hot spring.
sitting up a little more, her hands falling back onto Vahy'n's shoulders, prompting the water type to tilt her head through the water to look over at who was joining them.

Large blue eyes blinked in sudden surprise however as one of the men in particular, with red hair caught her attention. "Oh-!" She explained, leaning forward a little. "You're Dith's friend, aren't you? I believe you went to his birthday party last year."

Adam had never been to a Ski resort, and since it was free, now seemed like the best time to explore the world. He did feel a smidgen bad that Izaya was stuck at the room. Maybe next time he could convince Faleen to let him take Izaya with him. Maybe handcuff them together? Well, that'd make bathroom time weird.

He walked along the nature trail, enjoying the cold against his face and nose.

When the trail became a bit boring, Adam moved to the ski lodge to grab skis and the necessary gear and joined a group of learners. Heading for the slopes, he whistled softly. It was lonely going out on your own, and he secretly wished he had bothered someone he had known to join him or let him join them. Well, being late to the party didn't help the matter much, really.

"...Ah-CHOO!" The brunet trudging his way up the mountain trail was noticing it was gradually getting harder to breathe. That in itself was explainable by the altitude, but as if that wasn't enough, he began to get the frequent urge to sneeze. "Ah-CHOO! Ah-ah-CHOO!"

Sniffling, he frowned. Had he always been this sensitive when Happa wasn't around? As far as he could tell, there was just snow about him, and he knew that wasn't enough to irritate his nose. The farther he went, the more agitated his sinuses seemed until at least he was sneezing almost constantly. He had to stop and sit down.

"Ugh..what in the world...?"

Then the cause made itself known. A little tan creature covered entirely with fur sniffled its way up to Akira. "Swin, swinub," it said, pausing in front of the trainer and looking up at him. Little did it seem to know that its fur was aggravating his allergies like nobody's business.

In between sneezes, he realized it must have wanted his food. "If you'll - ah-CHOO! - go away, then - ah-CHOO! I-I'll give you so - ah-CHOO!" He moaned, wondering if he dared take Happa out in this freezing weather. Even if his Leafeon didn't want to battle, at least he could clear the air of the pig-snouted pokemon's hair, but Akira was also unsure of how the Grass-type would fare in such a terrain. At last, he decided against it and brought some of his snacks out instead.

"Here. Ah-ah-CHOO!" he sneezed, offering the furry pokemon a nutrition bar. "Now...you go - ah-CHOO! - your way and - ah-ah-ah-CHOO! - I'll go mine!"

As he zipped up his bag and got ready to go, however, the Swinub began to follow him, perhaps because he fed it. Akira frowned, not having foreseen this turn of events. "N-no, you - ah-CHOO! Y-you go the other - ah-CHOO! - the other way! Wh-WHOA!" When he'd turned around to face the little creature, watching it as he walked backward, the brunet didn't notice where the path ended and tripped over a stone.

Falling backward, he slid down the mountain a ways, hitting a few obstacles in the snow along the way until he finally collided with a tree trunk, which broke his fall. Unfortunately, it also knocked him out.

"Swin?" the Swinub said, peering down the slope where the young man had fallen. Eventually, it slid down after him, though with much more expertise and purpose than that of its predecessor. It soon found him in the middle of the wilderness out cold with a bump on his head. Settling down next to him, it huddled close to keep him warm until he woke up.
