Adelaide Jean Stone
Adelaide froze when Cyrus retaliated verbally. Seeing Titus tighten his grip on Cody and a put little more distance between the two disgruntled friends, she felt a bit more at ease. As Cyrus started walking away, she glanced back to see if anyone was going to stop him.
The next thing she knew Cody had knocked Titus to the ground and had darted towards Cyrus. Watching Cody take hold of Cyrus, Adelaide started slowly moving closer to the two. If one of the two made a move towards physical violence, she would step in. Honestly though, she didn't want to have to step up to Cody. Yes, she grew up with brothers and knew how to fight, but Cody had some military training under her belt.
As the girl stated yelling, she watched silently for the slightest twitch or anything that might show the beginning of an attack. Only the attack that came about was not one she'd expected to see. Jaw dropped, she watched as Cyrus's crush kissed him. Then the guy reacted in a way she hadn't thought he would. He pushed her away. She found herself embarrassed for both of them. As Cyrus walked away, she debated in whether or not she should go check on him. On the other hand there was Cody, who no doubt was hurting even more after being rejected. This was why she hated to see her friends get into fights, she never knew who to check on first.

Zek
Zek wasn't entirly sure what had set off the fits of rage in his friends, so he decided to not say anything. Next thing he knew he heard Cody getting off Titus and running towards Cyrus. Then after a bit more yelling it got quiet, a moment later Cyrus excused himself from the group.
Releasing his grip on Bullet's handle, Zek went over to where he heard Cyrus's footsteps and reached out to grab him. It took a couple tries but he then managed to grab his friends arm. Staring at Cyrus with his sightless eyes Zek spoke calmly "Dude, you alright? I can walk back with you if you want." he said then gave a small smile "We foster kids gotta stick together, right?" . He hated when his friends fought, these were the only people that he felt he could actually trust, the last thing he wanted was for the group to split up.
Behind him, Zek could hear Bullet walking among his other friends. Bullet was a smart dog, always knowing when it would be alright to not be right next to Zek, and able to feel the tension in the air. After dealing with Zek, Bullet had learned to tell when someone was upset, and would try to help to the best of his abilities, so long as Zek didn't need him at that moment.

Cody Ivory
I'm a tough girl, and I'll `n e v e r` back down [without] trying.
═════════════════════════════════════════
When Cyrus pushed Cody back, his comment echoed in every fiber of her being. 'Grow up'. She felt her heart strings tighten as she stood completely still like a soldier at attention. A broken down soldier returning from a war she had lost. The tears persisted as she clenched her fists at her side. She'd put all her hopes and dreams into the wrong person. She'd taken a chance on him, and ended up with her heart in the dirt. Cody hadn't noticed Zek catch up to Cyrus, trying to comfort him. She didn't see Ada looking back and forth between her and Cy, nor the dog that wagged it's tail between her friends. Though everything was a blur, she could see Titus as clear as day. She felt terrible for knocking him to the ground and wondered if he was hurt, but she didn't budge to aid him. She reminded herself that he was her first love and the first to reject her. What did he think of her now?
Cody lifted her head to look up at the sky, tears still streaming before she looked back at Titus. "You were right. I shouldn't have come back." She said, referring to the conversation they had earlier that day. She looked between her two friends, never looking in Cryrus' direction. "I'm sorry." She said sincerely before turning on her heel and taking off down the road like a bullet. In the miltary, she learned to keep her breathing even, so she wasn't entirely out of breath when she made the ten mile run to her house. She'd knelt in the grass, puking. Had she not been drinking, she wouldn't have made herself sick after the long run. Clenching her stomach, she heard Jenna, her mom's fiance, pulling into the driveway of the apartment complex. After a few moments, she heard clicking heels sprinting down the sidewalk and towards her. "Cody!" She heard her name, but she was too sick to function. "Sweetheart! Are you alright?" Jenna asked. Cody vomited once more, feeling a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Just get me inside please." Jenna struggled to hold Cody's weight, as she wrapped one of her arms around her shoulders. Joseph, one of the neighbors had seen what was going on and came over to help. Directing her up the stairs to the second floor, they stopped at the front door. Fumbling with the keys, Jenna managed to open the door and get Cody inside. The dizzy spells were intense and Cody didn't know how much longer she would last. Jenna thanked Joseph and closed the door behind him before calling Cody's mom. Cody had managed to take off her combat boots and pull up a pillow under her head. Taking out her phone, she looked at the wallpaper of all her friends before placing the phone down just as her vision went dark and she passed out.

Titus FeaghanEven after everyone else had gone and left, even his sister, Titus just sat there on the pavement in the same spot Cody had knocked him to the ground, staring off into space. Titus felt like he might throw up, even though he hadn't been drinking like his friends had. There was just so much going on in his head that it was making his stomach hurt and his chest ache. It was probably a good half hour before Titus got off the ground and finally moved from his confused thoughts back into the real world. He looked around blankly for a few seconds before picking his feet up and shuffling off home. Making his way through the suburbs of the town, eventually he found his own house and absentmindedly entered the place. His mother immediately noticed and of course came over to ask how he was feeling, seeing the blank expression on his face replacing his usual fake smile. "Sweety, are you alright? How was your day? Are you sure you are feeling well? You don't look so good, Baby..." Titus only wanted to vomit more at the sound of his mother's sickeningly sweet concern. "I'm fine..."He mumbled, pushing his mom's hand away as she placed it on his shoulder out of worry. The last thing Titus needed right now was more of that constant babying his family treated him with, and his mother was the worst offender of all. Before giving her a chance to further her interrogation, Titus ran up the stairs to his room and shut the door, locking himself in. Titus spent the rest of the evening trying to figure out what the hell had happened between him and his friends that day, trying to make sense of it all. The more he tried to figure it out the more confused he got until he eventually got too frustrated and fell asleep curled up on his bedroom floor.

Adelaide Jean Stone
Seeing the group beginning to disperse, Adelaide let out a heavy sigh and decided it best if she just go home too. Readjusting her backpack, she turned and headed home. As she walked away, she pulled a cigarette and lighter out, puffing on it as she walked home. It seemed too soon that she was walking into the door of her house.
"You need to stop smoking Adelaide. That stuff'll kill ya. Not to mention, I can smell you from here" There was a thin, golden haired woman sitting in the living room watching some crap cable tv show.
Adelaide rolled her eyes, both at being called, 'Adelaide' and that she shouldn't smoke. Growing up the house had been full of activity. The boys horsing around, playing games. Now it was just Adelaide and her mother, and on a very rare occasion, she'd see her father coming in between jobs.
"Luke's coming home."
The words made her freeze. Her breath hitching in her throat. Finally she let out a heavy breath and took a few wobbly steps to her room dropping to her bed. Her breathing was uneven, and she was beginning to sweat. She stayed like that in her panic until she eventually passed out.

Cyrus Alman
When Cyrus and Zek finally made it back the heavy silence was broken by sounds of kids playing football in the big fenced in yard. They both walked up the steps to the porch passing the kids where some waved in greeting, but Cyrus didn't see. His hands were tucked into his hoodie pockets, and his eyes were glued to the ground in front of him, but his mind was a million miles away. Once inside, he watched Zek upstairs to their room, but he decided to sit at the kitchen table instead. It had been a longer day than he'd realized, he thought as he pulled out his sketchbook from his back and began to finish his drawing. It was of Cody's face, but as he continued on it he was sure to add the tears and blotchy complexion that was imprinted on his mind from their awkward kiss. He hated that she had to cry, and he hated that she drank so much. Couldn't she have thought of any other, better, way to say something like that to him? With a sigh, and an hour's past, Cyrus shut his sketchbook ad headed upstairs to his bed. It was comfortable in a room sharing with five others including Zek, and once he laid down he was out for the count.
((OK Next person can timeskip to tomorrow morning!))

Cody Ivory
I'm a tough girl, and I'll `n e v e r` back down [without] trying.
═════════════════════════════════════════
Just a single crack of light passed through the curtains in the living room when the sun rose the next morning. The light had passed over Cody's face, waking her up earlier than she would have liked. The sun didn't want her to be late for her hangover and thus began the usual routine. Cody could hear Jenna was up and making coffee and toast in the kitchen. She sighed, not remembering much from the night before. Only the look Titus gave her and distinctly remembering that Cyrus was mad at her. She didn't blame him. She'd been so smashed last night, she was barely even herself. She wasn't one to ever get emotional about anything. Jenna would cry at puppy dogs and rainbows while Cody would laugh hysterically during horror flicks. It was a wonder how they got along so well. Kicking off the blanket and onto the floor, Cody sat up on the lumpy couch, only wearing a band T-shirt that went half way down her thighs. "Morning," Jenna said. Cody saluted her clumsily as she finally got the urge to take care of herself before she was buried in the backyard. Standing up, she walked to the fridge and raided her supply of energy drinks, the only thing besides water that helped move the hangover along. Opening the cap, she popped a few aspirin in her mouth and swallowed. "I hope I didn't worry you too much." Despite the fact she was marrying her mom, Cody liked Jenna. She was sweet and always reliable. She even kept Cody's drinking a secret from her mom. Jenna smiled and offered Cody a plate of fresh french toast. "You're stronger than you think sweetie. I know it's tough, but there are better ways of dealing with your problems." She placed a gentle hand on Cody's shoulder. "Please. Will you finally come to yoga with me? It's a great stress reliever. No need to worry about anyone judging you." Cody smirked, taking the plate of food to the bar and sitting on the stool. "I'd be judging them."Jenna smiled and sat on the stool next to her. "Your mom is working all day, so I thought we would spend the day together, unless you have plans?" Cody tried not to laugh, but the built up sound escaped with a snort. "When have I ever had plans? I just run with the wind and hope it takes me somewhere other than over a cliff. Right about now, that doesn't sound too bad." Jenna shook her finger at Cody. "We will not have that kind of talk in this house young lady." Jenna took a sip of her chamomile tea. "We are going to have good attitudes and pleasant thoughts today. So hurry up and get rid of that hangover." Cody smiled. "Okay. Okay. But let me try a sip of that." She said, snatching the tea and taking a gulp. "Woman. That stuff is nasty." Jenna tossed her hands up in the air. "Yet you enjoy beer?" Cody snickered as she ate her breakfast. It took a few hours and Cody still wasn't quite back to her old self yet. She still had a headache, but at least now she could think clearly. Jenna had raided her closet and found an outfit for Cody to borrow and she just snuffed her nose at it. "I never wear pink." She said, looking at herself in the full body length mirror. "But it looks nice on you." After preparing, Jenna drove Cody to her favorite hangout spot at the dance studio. Here, she had lots of friends that enjoyed doing yoga as much as Jenna did. Once they pulled up, Cody rose an eyebrow at the building. "Alright. Let's get this over with."
