SQUOOB A DOOB!
SQUOOB A DOOB!
SQUOOB A DOOB!
Melancholies how are you this lucky
SQUOOB A DOOB!
SQUOOB A DOOB!
SQUOOB A DOOB!
screamingshark The pasta bag ripped as it arced over the crowd, scattering hard little pieces, somewhat mirroring the confetti that was tossed by the blueblood. She hoots in approval, then leans forward in the booth, arms outstretched. Looks like your prize this time is a hug. Awww. As she pulls back from it, you feel little legs scuttling over your shoulder and down your arm, and the smallest, fluffiest spider imaginable peers up at you from its perch on your sleeve. The blueblood points and laughs. * *original art - this spider will grow to unimaginable sizes as an adult if it survives.
Taki-di The blueblood stares at you for a full minute, before raising another rubber chicken and squeezing it in responce. The cry is both mournful and wistful, as though remembering a love lost. She then begins to squeeze it thoughtfully as she digs through piles of trash - er - prizes, selecting one for you. Somehow the magic of that first chicken honk has vanished, just leaving a startling noise. Eventually she hands you a dusty, dusty bottle. The label is beginning to peel at the edges, but you can see what looks like a preserved food mixture floating around listlessly inside.
nepsah Barely had the boat been trampled to oblivion under the feet of passing trolls when the celebratory alarm rung out. The blueblood, flailing with appreciation at your masterful ability to both hold AND throw a paper object (setting the bar at a truly impossible level for other trolls to reach) hands you a dusty, dingy jar. Wow. Much prize - very appreciate. There seems to be faded illustrations of vegetables and herbs on the label...?
All other squoobers today: The blueblood rummages behind her stall, and before you have the chance to disappear into the crowd, she tosses you one of the items below:

Nictor Sabbat Doob: A five pronged spatula Squoob: Smack some of the things nailed to the booth with it. [1d10]
Nictor hadn't even meant to walk by the booth today. He'd avoided it on the trip to see if he could find Polair because it was so distracting and he was so bad about keeping focused. as he was futilely trying to wipe remains of paper-mache off his hands while not getting more glue on them, his muscles attempted to tear themselves, his skeleton, and all of his assorted organs out of his skin when a loud "SQUOOB A DOOB!" came right next to his ear. His hands jerked, one making a grab for his belt, for his staff,a nd the other tightened it's grip on a spatula.
A what now.
Nictor blinked hard, swaying to a halt in his retreat from the mysterious booth owner.
When did this spatula get in his hand. How. The strange troll's eerie gaze flickered between him and the device, so....maybe she had something to do with it? How fast was she if she managed to slip that into his hand while he was recoiling? It was somewhat unnerving but a more immediate concern- this spatula had five heads.
Heads. what are those even called? The spatula portion of the spatula? The flat bit? The end? The flipper? This was the fourth night and he was still no closer to knowing what was expected of him. Given the behavior of the troll behind the counter he...din't think there;d be retribution for playing the game wrong. So that just left him more baffled than anything.
Maybe. Uh. Okay, so handing the sock back had failed maybe he could just. Return the spatula from whence it came, stick it into the miscellaneous wall of stuff that built the booth? He just needed somewhere to stick it...
It took some finagling and one of the...uh, prongs? got bent backwards and a bag full of BB's scattered on the ground and he didn't understand why there were so many metal cans on the wall. but well, the spatula eventually was snuggle tangled in a wind chime and Nictor was free of the mysterious obligations that came with holding it.
