I like Ford. He is just so funny.. His clothes in the TV series are odd, too.
Well, I like all the characters. But Ford the most. My friend told me I should marry him.. ^^;

I love them all...and that's all I can think of off the top of my head! I could never choose a favorite, but I know I don't really like Fenchurch, she's not different enough. Nor do I especially like Zarniwoop...but most other characters were amazing.

C'mon, you know when Eddie was trying to make tea was really funny. Oh, yes, and how Zaphod Beeblebrox the 4th (his grandfather) approved of it.

I like Arthur because he is the only main character I have seen in any book that is totally normal. All other books the main character has some stupid special power, but Arthur represents a much more dull side of humanity. But Marvin is also cool. And Slartibartfast. Fjords!

... And Zarquon!... And that immortal dude that insults everyone, alphabetically. Forgot his name.

For secondary characters, I'd have to saaay (This is only on the first 2 books, I'm only starting the 3rd) the sperm whale and the bowl of petunias, Eddie (I LOVE the tea thing. Shutting down the whole ship to make a cup of tea. hilairous stuff) and the Guide itself.
