Anime or Manga?

Yeah... I think I always like it when one has something the other doesn't... I like the first seven books of the manga, but I like (most) of the filler in the anime... I also like to see things animated and in color and with sound, but I like Takahashi Sensei's style reflected in the manga. And then a lot of times their plots/events will differ slightly, and I sometimes prefer the anime and sometimes the manga. ^^;;

Anime would be my favorite. I like watching it every weekend.

Anime is probably my favorite as well, better character depth. Currently started re-watching the original series with my bf. He used to duel a bit and has a deck, but never actually watched any of the anime series. It's been a fun burst of nostalgia with me and great to share the series with a new person.

For the most part, the manga. I love how the Pharaoh was a total sociopath in the first seven volumes and wasn't above blowing people up, blinding them, etc.

In some cases, I thought the anime version of things was better, like the arc where Yugi's Puzzle is taken and smashed and he has to duel to get it back. In the manga, that duel lasted for about ten plus chapters. In the anime, it was solved in about three episodes.
