Tekkensennin Icege EndlessDark ok I've got a more specific question..I hope xp Any tips for beating Jinpachi with Jin? that stupid flame move Jinpachi has gets me every time. with some of the other characters I'd knock Jinpachi down, then keep running at him and jump kicking because he was slow in getting up again, but is there an easier way to do it with Jin? you can sidewalk the fireball OR you can do that force block or whatever it is called in the US version... the pose he does and his hands start to glow... works too 3nodding Or you could be Lei and play dead, one of the many more non-needed tactics against Jinpachi. But if you are having a hard time sidestepping (I really can't see how, since it is just one slight tap), then play dead with Lei (D 3+4).

Informative to a T. I was watching your other stuff on youtube and wanted to know who thought that the Asuka move would work. That move just about never connects and is ALWAYS punished...

Jinpachi's not even all that cheap ( I play SNK fighters alot, so I'm used to cheapness). The real problem I have with him is that stun move he does when he makes his hand glow purple and hit you with it. It's not that much of a problem but it's annoying.

TOKYO POP PLAYA Icege TOKYO POP PLAYA Icege http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ePJhxr12Ic Still double tapping, Im not that stupid...If you're not stupid, than you're either blind or in denial. I SIDESTEP by TAPPING up and down. I SIDEWALK by DOUBLE tapping AND HOLDING up or down. Works for you not for me...I try to side step but the character jumps or ducks...It works the same for everybody. Just "tap" it really fast. If you're jumping or ducking, it's because you're holding it too long. Just practice tapping it until they do it.

It's unblockable, has fairly good range, very good, amazing priority, sets up ANY combo (even fireballs). It's that one move that makes him unbeatable, it's not annoying, it's the most broken thing in any fighting game I've ever seen. He can take 3/4 of your life with it and then set up an oki situation leading to another stun.

Basic question. How do you recover from a knockdown position into a crouching block? Ie. My character is doing an okizeme, hitting low but the cpu suddenly recovers crouching and manages a while standing +2?

When you tech roll, tap up to strand straight up, etc etc.

He can take 3/4 of your life with it and then set up an oki situation leading to another stun. He's not unbeatable, for one. I've beaten him several times on the hardest difficult. I guess I was speaking for myself when I said it wasn't that much of a problem, since fighting games come natural to me. The idea is the force him to make a pattern ( not actually make him...), one that you can easy adapt to and use against him. How do you that? That can't be taught.
