"It's... fine..." Jounouchi replied, now feeling quite concerned. He knew that expression Malik had... that weak smile... it was a mask, a game, an act. Jounouchi knew it all-too-well, because he used it all the time. Thinking back, he could see the possibilty that Malik used it all the time as well, well at least when he wasn't being a jerk... But now that he was so disoriented, he could notice the mask. Jounouchi had long-since perfected his mask, and Malik must've as well until now... Jounouchi quickly shook his head, suddenly grabbing Malik by the arm, though not roughly, "Here, you should sit down." he said, beginning to lead Malik over to a sofa without bothering to close the door.

"I'll be fine." Malik muttered irritably, using all the strength he had to push Jou's hand from his arm. That's when he noticed that Jou's hand was covered in blood. "Your-your bleeding!” He shouted, pointing to the other’s arm. “What happened to your hand? I thought the light bulb had only hurt your leg...” He was hoping that this would avert the attention away from him, and perhaps Jounouchi would eventually forget the glimpse of Malik’s true nature he had just foolishly displayed. He hated being caught off guard like that.
And that vision. It was odd for him to be seeing such things in the daytime. It made him extremely nervous - how was he supposed to maintain a normal life, so fearful of being haunted by his dark memories?
Never mind that. At the moment, his main concern was working on masking his vulnerability. And he still had the matters of fixing the other's leg (and now hand) to deal with. He'd worry about his own psychological problems later... when others weren't around to get involved. That was the last thing he needed.

Jounouchi looked down at his hand blinking, then realized he wouldn't be able to explain the blood without sounding crazy. "Oh... this...?" he laughed nervously, "Yeah um... there was some broken glass in that elevator..." he said. At least it wasn't a total lie. "Anyway, it's nothing. He really should sit down or you might get dizzy or something." Jounouchi said, nodding oh-so-intelligently. "I'll get you some water too, so just take some time to calm down." he said with a nod, suddenly walking over towards the open door leading back into the halls.

"I don't want water." Malik replied bitterly, folding his hand over his chest, as he cut off Jou on his way to shut the door. "I told you I'd care for you, not the other way around. Besides, you can't just serve me in my own household, that is completely idiotic, not to mention rude. You don't even know where anything is." Malik threw the other a very cruel smirk, as he flung the door closed. He didn't realize how much energy this would expend, till it was to late, he let out a slight cry of pain, and he could feel his legs collapse from under him again. "Damn it!" The Egyptian cursed, grabbing hold of the door for support. "Why... won't my head stop spinning!" He growled, frustrated that he could hardly maintain control over his own body.

Jounouchi huffed, instinctively reaching his hands out to Malik to support him, "Well I'm perfectly fine and you can't even close a door without freaking out! You're being too stubborn for your own good; can't accept help from someone else. I may be rude going around serving you here, but at least I am capable of it right now. Besides, when was I ever polite? And since when could you lecture me on being rude when you're also rude?! Now go sit down or you're gonna pass out!" he demanded, not wanting Malik to get any worse.

Malik complied merely because, well, his body wasn't listening to him, and he needed the support to stand up. He took the other's hand, pulled himself up, and wrapped his arm around Jou's shoulder so that he could be led to the couch. "I'm sorry.." Malik muttered, simply out of the energy to argue anymore. "But, I'll be okay. It's just a headache. I get them all the time, so you really don't have to freak out... I'll be fine in due time."
(Oh, I wanted to know what day of the week it is... I was thinking Saturday perhaps? Because I know I want Malik to have a job during the weekdays, and I was figuring Jou would have school and a job as well... unless you wanted it to be summer. Either way, it doesn't matter to me. ^^)

((Saturday is fine with me. Hmm... I was thinking the rp had sort of a summery amosphere so far, but any time of the year is fine with me. And yes, Jounouchi does have a job whether it's summer or not.)) Jounouchi sighed, "Fine then..." he said, leading Malik over to the sofa, "Maybe we both just need to calm down before we figure out all what the hell is going on.

(Okay, well, how bout, it's June then? Close to the end of the school year, might be good. =3)
Malik took a seat on the coach, kicking off his shoes. He had been so distracted by his mental problems, he had forgotten how bad it was to leave his shoes on in his home. Oh well, now it was nothing compared to his current problems. On top of the visions and the massive headache, Jounouchi was in his house insisting on caring for him. He didn't mind the whole idea of getting served on, it was the fact that Jou had told him what to do that irked him.
"I'm perfectly calm." Malik said, crossing his arms arrogantly, as he leaned back into his sofa for comfort, "And there is nothing to 'figure out'. I told you, it's just a headache, I'll recover just fine. Go fix your hand before you bleed all over my clean home."

((That's fine. ^^)) Jounouchi quickly took off his own shoes when he saw Malik do so, realizing he had been in such a rush he had forgotten. Not like he ever bothered to do so in his own apartment (too dangerous with the broken glass anyway) so... he sometimes didn't think about it. Jounouchi huffed, "I didn't mean what was going on with you... well I mean... you think there's something weird going on right now too, right? Am... I the only one suddenly seeing your other self...?" he asked before thinking about it. He quickly cursed to himself afterwards, not wanting to seem any more messed up than he already had.

Malik's eyes widened with the sound Jou's words,
Am... I the only one suddenly seeing your other self...?
What did Jou mean?! Was he having visions too!? But... how could that be... it didn't make any sense! His other self didn't have anything against Jounouchi... why would he be getting haunted?!
"What do you mean Jounouchi-kun!?" Malik shouted, flinging up from his position on the coach, and grabbing Jou's shoulders. His voice tinged in both fear, and shock all in one, as he demanded for an explanation. "What do you mean that you saw, my dark half as well?!"

Jounouchi's eyes widened in surprise as Malik grabbed him. He was about to respond by throwing Malik off angrilly, until he saw the look in the Egyption's eyes. It wasn't anger, bitterness, or hatred as Malik's actions had illustrated, but instead fear, shock, and confusion that Jounouchi saw. So instead he swallowed his pride, cooled his temper, and responded as calmly as he could, "Since this morning... I've been seeing flashes of him... and sometimes I see him standing behind you..." the blond replied, then looked at Malik seriously, "You're seeing him too, aren't you? I'm not just being insane...?"

"This morning....?" Malik repeated quietly, letting go of his tight grip on the other’s shoulders, and raising a finger to his lip in speculation. "That doesn't make any sense. I figured there'd be at least a correlation between our visions..." His eyes averted upward, as if he was racking his brain for a solution to this puzzle.
Without a solution he looked back to Jou, meeting his eyes with his own, a huge depth of seriousness lying beneath those mysterious lavender orbs as he spoke in a hushed voice, "I started having visions of him awhile back. That's why I moved back to Japan. I figured it might be healthier for me, to be away from the place where... he was born. But, it's really odd, that you are seeing him as well... I can't seem to... comprehend, why."

"I don't know either..." Jounouchi replied, "But if we're both seeing him then... is it possible he's back...?" he asked, being as serious as possible considering the possibilities of what their visions could represent. "But... it did just start this morning for me. I was just walking and suddenly saw a flash of him. I saw more flashes when I saw you earlier today and there were a couple times where... I actually thought he was really there..." Jounouchi finally admitted quietly. He then looked up at Malik, "I hate that guy..."

Malik let out a weak chuckle, “I suppose we have more in common then I would have originally suspected... for I’m sure you can only begin to imagine my feelings of loathing towards him.” He let himself smile with the last comment, however the grin ceased when he met the other’s deep amber eyes.
They looked pained, confused... and even a little ashamed. Something compelled him to stare at them intensely, they were soft, yet at the same time full of strength. Malik felt a deep sensation from within the depths of his heart, moved by the bright glow of such a strong soul that seemed to shine from Jounouchi's eyes. The more and more he looked at Jou, and into his wonderful eyes, the more and more he could feel Jou's pure heart filling him with warmth. Malik's heart begin to pump fiercely against his chest, full to bursting with this great amount of love and loyalty the other blond's eyes seemed yo emit. A feeling so pure, a feeling so deep, a feeling.. the Egyptian had always longed to know.
What is this feeling....!? His inner being shouted. After all, Jounouchi hadn't said anything brilliant, nor striking... so why... did he feel so compelled by it all? Malik shook his head, dismaying the strange emotions as a fluke in his hormones, washing them away from his heart for the time being.
He approached Jou and put a comforting hand on the other’s shoulders. “Take a seat. And I’ll make some tea. Then we can discuss our.... 'little problem.' So... just get comfy, and feel honored. Your the first guest I’ve ever had here, after all.” The Egyptian said with a calming smile, as he began to head off to the kitchen to boil water, picking up his and Jou’s shoes to bring to the front door on the way.

"Yeah, whatever..." Jounouchi mumbled his simple response as he sat down on the sofa. He then looked down at his leg, quickly shaking his head before beginning to pick shards of glass out using his finger nails. Jounouchi wasn't the cleanliest or most concerned person. He was happy to just get the glass out and have the blood flow stop. As he continued his work on the leg, he quietly wondered to himself why Malik's moods seemed to change so much. He went from jerk-to freaked out-to kind-to humorous... just everything. Malik was definitely complex, and something about the other boy did in fact compell Jounouchi in a strange way. He wanted to know more about him, find out his past, his plans for the future, just anything. Jounouchi told himself that it was because he was a foreigner; foreigners were interesting by definition. Of course a typical Japanese teenager would want to learn about them! I mean, foreigners were so rare in their country after all... Realizing he had gotten all of the glass out of his leg except for a couple shards that were too deep for him to get, he stretched and sat back on the sofa. Without even thinking about it, he suddenly called, "Hey, Malik! Do you need any help in there?" Why had he suddenly offered to help with the tea? That wasn't natural for a first-time guest to offer, and Jounouchi wasn't a very offering person anyway. Strange...
