marshjazz Also bringing up another point. Should men be able to vote on this issue? If it was to be a democratic thing, should men be able to vote? They'll never have to go through it, so why should they have a say?
IF MEN WERE THE ONE'S GETTING PREGNANT, THIS WOULDN'T BE AN ISSUE. Abortions would be legal hands down, 100% of the time.

Are you tring to say that men are weak, so abortion would be legal? Or that because women are the ones getting pregnent and not men there is a debate because men want to control the women? I understand what your saying I just don't quite understand what you mean. sweatdrop

I wasn't being sexist. It's the truth, men don't get pregnent. It is hard to understand something you never have or can experience. It isn't their body, so ultimately it should be the woman's desion or atleast that is what I think. I'm not saying that a couple shouldn't have equal parts in the desion just that the guy should be the one to fold and understand that it is the woman going through it not him. That is only if it turns into a big arguement, they can discuss it but I don't think a relationship should be broken just because the man wants to keep the baby but the woman doesn't want to have it or the other way around. I'm not being sexist there either, just rational. I personally think there shouldn't even be a debate about this because it is none of anybody else's bees-wax if someone keeps or kills a fetis. Everybody else's world doesn't change one bit if someone kills their own fetis. Furthermore, I never even espressed my answer to the questions. I was simply expressing a question. I actually have no opinion on those questions. On the one side it is the womens body, on the other hand a democratic vote involves everyone voting and men do contribute to half of the fetis. So they should have some say. Just because people ask a question like: "Are females smarter than males?" doesn't make them sexist, it doesn't make them automatically not sexist either.

Not at all, I don't really care much for the battle of the genders, if women are so anti-men they can ******** off and be lesbians or asexual for all I care, just shut up about it *rips hair out* same goes for anti-female men. Only a moron would say that your post was sexist. However, I do agree with Xyloid, in that if men were getting pregnant of course abortions would be legal hands down, since men hold the majority of power over rules/laws/ect whatever. But I don't agree with her if you take into consideration that whole ballot-voting-faux pas democracy thing you've got running over there, since if you think about the people who are anti-abortion, they are pretty much all religious. They are against abortion because their religion says so, even the women, so if you switch it around not much would really change. But if it were up to the people at the head of the government sure, I think that it would be legal hands down... of course that would only work if your government worked the way it was supposed to according to your constitution and was secular... which it is conspicuously not. Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I've got a thumping headache, people on msn are bugging me and my brother wants me to install some game for him. ._. Sorry I made you type all that eek

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE
I'm so moderate on this one it's hard to make a decision. I believe that a woman has the right to make a decision over her body and what is inside it. I believe that if she is going to get an abortion she is going to get one nomatter what. But I'm also very prolife. I believe it could be considered murder. It may not have a gender yet, but it's still living, a fetus is still living.
But I think there are many situations where I could see abortions being verified, but also look at the other options. Why have an abortion when you could have the baby and give it up for adoption so that someone who is willing to raise it can. My sister isn't able to have a baby and she would easily take one someone else didn't want.
So I'll stay moderate.

Sorry I made you type all that eek Oh, okay no problem. I agree with what she said to. I just don't understand the why that would be true. It's really weird and difficult to explain. One of those things where you know it is true but you don't know why it is true. (If that made any sense at all) I wasn't suggesting that things would change (maybe they would, but who knows these things) just that in a way it wouldn't be right for people to make descions on something that doesn't concern them. (Same thing with anti-abortionist, but what can you do?) Also many anti-men women are asexual or lesbian. But I do agree with you that heterosexual people should be sexist. It just goes against common sense. I understood what you said so you don't have to worry about that and I'm sorry you have a headache. Well I'm sorry that I made you type all of that.

Alot of people do have unwanted baby's and put them up for adoption. Also it depends on what you consider living. I don't consider a fetis living in the sense that you and I are living. I consider it to be alive, but less alive than a plant. If your brain can't process pain then your less "alive" than a plant, cause they can feel pain. You make a very good point. I must say though I disagree. Everyone has the right to live(unless you kill.) By doing abortiong doctors themselves are kinda sorta breaking the law. Just imagine how many babys are being killed that could change the world so greatly.

Doctors aren't breaking the law because they are killing a fetis not a baby. And as of yet abortions aren't against the law.

Yeah, AmErIcAnSyKo and I have alot of the same views. sweatdrop I consider a fetus very much alive...within 10 weeks of pregnancy the fetus is developing organs. It has it's brain and its fingers and toes. 48% of all abortion facilities provide services after the 12th week of pregnancy that means that the fetus has a brain it has emotions you can't say that its not a person. Because technically it is. If you get an abortion around 10 weeks or past you are killing a person. If you honestly don't want a baby then use a condom or birth control. I'm sorry I'm so adamant on this subject. Also a lot of people like to bring up rape cases...I stand moderate because I do believe a rape case is an exception. There could be other exceptions...but having an abortion after the baby has begun to develope its brain and organs is very much so murder. <3 http://www.abortionno.org/Resources/fastfacts.htmlwww.expectantmothersguide.com/library/newjersey/fetalgrowth.htm

Again, I do not consider a fetis a person. I consider it a parisite. Quote: American Heritage Dictionary - Cite This Source per·son (pûr'sən) Pronunciation Key n. A living human. Often used in combination: chairperson; spokesperson; salesperson. An individual of specified character: a person of importance. The composite of characteristics that make up an individual personality; the self. The living body of a human: searched the prisoner's person. Physique and general appearance. Law A human or organization with legal rights and duties. Christianity Any of the three separate individualities of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as distinguished from the essence of the Godhead that unites them. Grammar Any of three groups of pronoun forms with corresponding verb inflections that distinguish the speaker (first person), the individual addressed (second person), and the individual or thing spoken of (third person). Any of the different forms or inflections expressing these distinctions. A character or role, as in a play; a guise: "Well, in her person, I say I will not have you" (Shakespeare). http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/personSpeaking with the bold deffinition a fetis is not a person. I think that is the deffinition we should use because this is issue over wether or not it should be against the law. Even if we use what you consider a person we are still only killing a person with no consious that can't even feel the pain. We kill people who are in a coma and can't afford room in a hospital, after a few months if it looks hopeless they are gone, we take them off of life support. It is ignorant to go around saying that an abortion is murder. As of yet, abortion isn't unlawful. Quote: American Heritage Dictionary - Cite This Source mur·der (mûr'dər) Pronunciation Key n. The unlawful killing of one human by another, especially with premeditated malice. Slang Something that is very uncomfortable, difficult, or hazardous: The rush hour traffic is murder. A flock of crows. See Synonyms at flock1. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/murderThe fetis may be developing organs, but it isn't using them. It's brain can't process the information. In other words it doesn't feel a thing. Not everyone gets rid of babies that they don't want, alot of people keep them or put them up for adoption. But it should be their choice with what to do with their property and yes a fetis is property because it isn't consious nor able to care for itself at all. We consider pets property, same thing with a fetis. And once again. You can still get pregnant if you use a condomn or birth control. They just reduce your chances.
