I've only had two boyfriends, both of whom were only a year older than me.
I think the one/two year difference works best.
Four years is ridiculous. That's like dating my brother. -shudder- yeah i think the 2 year difference relations are the bes too 3nodding

I think if there's gonna be a big age differnce, it shoulod be when the youngest person is old enough to really know what he or she wants and is just as ready as the older person for a committed relationship.
Ex:
25 and a 35 yr old...
My parents are 10 years apart, and they met when my mom was like 32 or something.
But a few years is no big deal.
But I don't think 11 year olds should be dating, personally.
Also I think she should wait a few years and it's okay to have a few years age difference.
But I don't know how they got along so it really depends on the person and maturity level. 3nodding

A 2-6 year distance isn't bad at all.
Anything further beyond though may be a little edgy in my opinion. But hey, lurf is lurf. heart

The only big age difference I know is a *cough* friend *cough* who's 15 and has a boyfriend who's 18. But it seems like a bigger difference because he's in college and she's only a junior. She insists on calling him while she's at parties to show everyone she has an older boyfriend. I condemn that relationship because I pretty much hate the girl, but it's not that big an age difference.

When your older it seems "ok" but really when your younger you see the difference and you like "wow, a 11 year old is dating a 15 year old" but if they were older, you would be like "who cares, a 25 year old dating a 29 year old" it doesn't seem as bad because you don't notice the difference yet they are other the same number of years apart.

11 is too young to date, 15 can date 14 or up to 16 and no one under 18 should date someone over 18. all that being said,........... after you are 19, age becomes less and less of a problem. heart

I don't think that 11 year olds should be dating, and the guy had to of only been thinking of one thing when he decided to date her.
As far as I go I am currently 21 (Soon to be 22 in Sep) and my fiance *swoons* is 30. *shrugs* What can I say?

11's too young.
I wont date anyone thats in the same year as me because then all your friends know him and then everyone gets sucked into drama.

- Tainted Star x3 - Well I was talking to my cousin the other day and she tells me that one of her friends is dating a fifteen year old. Shes only eleven. ><
And she then tells me how the guy breaks up with her friend because he met some other girl who was his age, leaving her friend all heartbroken and saying things like 'I loved him' and 'my heart is turning into ashes'. gonk
So what do you think of this and what are your thoughts on eleven year olds dating fifteen year olds?

wut i think of 11 & 15 year old: ... well, if the person is a good person and stuff, it doesn't really matter. the girl is too young though to be dating already in my opinion. in my opinion u can start dating someone when u are at least 16. below that, u shouldn't date. 15 is well kinda okay, i guess u could date then maybe... that guy should nvr hav dated her if he was only using her as a substitute for a gf until he found one his age. and also he should no she was too young so he shouldn't let her be his gf. if all he wanted was a gf his age, he could just wait and find one instead of dating her, breaking her heart and then not caring about her anymore. i hav nvr been in a relationship with someone who was much older/younger than me
