Riane got up and took a quick shower. She ran out of her dorm fully dressed, rushing to the Cafe so she could get some food before she had to go to class. She grabbed a pop-tart and rushed to her English Literature class. She got there just five minutes before class started. She finished her pop-tart and threw away her trash. She sat at an empty table and pulled out all her books. She kept one in front of her and pushed all the others aside and began to read.

xantos felt crushed. he thoughtsilently to himself, "why hasnt any ever noticed me? not what i can do....." he trailed off untill he finally realized, it was he, who hasnt noticed them. hethen got up off of his bed, and walked out the door. he walked up and down the halls of the dorm, all day, there was people, and the whole day, he didnt talk to them. it was becasue he didnt know how. hed never startee a conversation that wasnt about the best way to kill someone. or the best defense position. or other fighting related things. he tyed to say somthing one time, but nothing came out. the person stared at him like he was a loser. but Xantos knew he deserved it. he held his head low allthe way vack to his room. he closed the door behind himself. and fell onto the bed. he also realized that hes never dated before, hes never had a first kiss, hes never had a freind. the only thing hes had was death. the didnt want to fight anymore. he didnt want his sword anymore. but he was going to keep it. as to be a remider. a remider of what has happend, and waha tthe will try to stay away from.
for the first time in his life he cryed. he wept silently, because he didnt know how.

after a couple minutes of crying xantos got up off of his bed and stood ther. xantos had never been an emotional person, so didnt feel any happier, but he did feel like he knew himself better. as much as he thought he knew he didnt deserve any body to be a feind, he was still going to try, as usless as it was.

Xantos the Exited his room, walking down the halls. he tryed to talk to one dude, but he only thing that came out was, "how bout nucular war?" the dude looked at him like he was going to kill him, cause after he got done saying that he realized who he was talking to. then the dude rushed into his room and closed the door. Xantos could then hear locks being bolted. he turend nd almost cryed. but he was going to try one more time. he kept walking a bit more until he turnd a corner and saw a girl standing agfainst a door, head hung low, Xantos thought this would be as good as chance as any. so he walked up to her and stood there trying to get words out but he didnt know what to say.

after Aubry's nap, she got up, and came out of her dorm, to see a guy try to pluck up the courage to talk to a girl who had her head up against her door, oblivious to him. she walked up and touched the girl's shoulder.
"hey," she smiled, "i think that this guy wants to say something to you." she told her. she smiled at the boy, waiting for him to speak.

Glad to have someone to talk to at last, she smiled again. "So, when did you get here? I just got here, like, yesterday. It's so confusing, finding all of my classes," Riane said, scared that if she didn't talk to him, he would leave.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, Aubry," Riane said, feeling her cheeks flush. She smiled at Aubry and Xantos as sweetly as she could while her face deepened to a beat red.

Xanots was taking back by her reply, no one has said more thatn one sentance to him exept him uncle. uhhhhh...he didnt know how to repond, so he copied her again, "i got here yesterday, and i found all my classes to, but i also got confused". he didnt know if this was the write answer so he stoped before he started to say somthing about a topic that he did know about.
then somthing else unexpected happend, a girl named aubry, said her name to them. then the girl replied with as sorry, and became red. xantos didnt know thta feeling, a feeling that made u turn a diffrent color.
