Kanda sighed in defeat, "I love you too." He muttered slowly while looking in the opposite direction.

Didrika froze. Her face, if possible turned redder and she looked at him. Her eyes went wide and then she proceeded to let out a small squee. Her heart beat quickened and she hugged him as tightly as she could without hurting him.

Kanda took a step back in response to Didirika's sudden display of affection and hugged her back. He was glad that she was happy, and didn't want to spoil the moment with his usual bitterness.

And so, to go along with everything else, Didrika took the next logical step and kissed him fully on the lips.

Completely stunned by Didrika's kiss, Kanda paralyzed state didn't allow him to do anything about it. For the moment all he could do was kiss her back.

Didrika felt completly happy. And her mommy and daddy were somewhere else, so they wouldn't interrupt like before.

He waited a while before breaking the kiss, and then put the girl down in front of him. Kanda laid one hand on a nearby wall and then set the other against his lips. Flustered he couldn't help but wonder what had just happened, he was blushing and Didrika had just kissed him.  

[Twilight Seraphim]

"A-akuma!" The boy yelled as he propelled himself over the ledge. "Help!" A horde of akuma flew behind the boy who was currently scrambling towards the gates.

Komui spat out his coffee as the scene unfolded on screen. Akuma? He jumped out of his seat and slammed the intercom on.

"Attention, all exorcists. Akuma are approaching the gates. All able bodied exorcists must go to defend the gates immediately!"

The girl climbed up right behind him, barely able to breathe. "They'e been chasing us....!" She cried out, comepletly out of breath.

Before Didrika could dwell on her thoughts any longer, she heard the voice over the intercom. Her eye widened. "An Akuma attack?!" She looked at Kanda.

Lavi had just put Adelheid to bed when the intercom went off. He looked to Allen and Linali. "Let's go."

Linali looked up when she heard her brother's voice. "Akuma? Here?!"

"Ooooh... boy..." Carlotta breathed deeply.

Allen looked back at the two. "Lets hurry!" He gasped.

Kanda paused and looked back at Didrika. "Akuma." He growled before turning to leave. "Lets go."

"Do you know something about this, Carlotta?" Linali asked, watching her. She made sure the she would not escape. She had a sense that Carlotta was up to something.

"Right!" Lavi nodded and started towards the gates.

"Uh-huh!" She followed after Kanda to where the emergency was.  

[Twilight Seraphim]

Vexis perked up at Komui's voice. "Akuma?" he startes to stumble towards the door. "A-ku-ma. . . "

Komui's finger never left the intercom button. As soon as the second person appeared, he yelled into the microphone. "We have two people being chased. Their proection is your top priority.They must have some connection to innocence if they managed to escape to us."

The boy narrowly dodged a bullet aimed towards his head. "H-help!"

The girl scrambled on the ground as the Akuma got closer and the blood bullets got frighteningly close. She let out a shriek and managed to catch up to the boy.

"Heavens no." She answered flatly in defense waving one hand in front of her. Carlotta went quiet, thinking silently to herself. She wondered how hard it would be to get away.

Allen dashed ahead to reach the gate, eager to fight off the Akuma.

"Watch yourself." Kanda warned the girl, he wasn't quite sure it she was 100% fine and would watch to make sure she would be out of harms way.

Linali was still suspicious of her. She seemed almost bored by this whole thing. That was not normal, especially from an exorcist whose home was being attacked.

Lavi ran after Allen. It didn't say how many Akuma there were exactly, and that meant that the battle could take a really long time. Not to mention that there were people in danger in the middle of this whole thing.

"Okay." She nodded. She had to admit, she wasn't completly better and she was still a little tired from her previous use of her Innocence. But now people were in danger and she had to help. Besides, she could always use any Akuma energy to help rejuvinate her if necessary.
