"Okay this has gone on long enough." Kagu groaned, flying out ahead of them both and stopping in front of Hael. "Ello~"

Deras continued to run straight ahead, picking Hael up and running over Kagu. He then turned 180 degrees around, while still on Kagu, and ran back towards the house.
"I TOLD YOU IT WAS THE WRONG WAY!!"

Hael just whimpered, looking up at Deras with a saddened expression.
"WAIT!" Kagu exclaimed, tripping Deras with her scythe before the two could get far. "I mean no harm!"

Deras kept his arms up, keeping Hael from hitting the ground. He then hopped back up and turned to Kagu.
"...And why should I believe that..?" he asked, keeping Hael behind him.

"If it makes you feel better though, I'll give up my scythe... to her." She said, holding out her scythe.

"Because I want to help!" Kagu pleaded, ramming the botom of the scythe onto the ground. "I'm getting tired of being Recht's pet and if helping you guys gets red of him then so be it!"
Of course, everything Kagu was saying was a complete lie. But it was impossible to tell. She had centuries of practice to master the art of lying. She was just curious to see if her scythe could be passed onto Hael. If not, then she'd return to her usual goal.
Hael then slipped her head out behind Deras, staring at the scythe, becoming fixated on it. "...Should we take her back to Zige?"
