Before Theo had the chance to direct himself and his wife somewhere, they were approached by a young man with a lovely young woman by his side. Though she might not have noticed, all but two of the people in the room looked young. "Ah, Sire, it is so good to see you finally settling down," the young man said. Theo just smiled and nodded to him.

Elizabeth adverted her gaze from Theo to the young couple. She couldn't help but blush slightly at his words. She smiled at the young women, not knowing what to say to the two, so she simply stayed silent.

The young couple didn't stay long, just long enough to compliment Elizabeth on her dress. Theo rolled his eyes. He trusted the politicians as far as he could throw them. He quickly led Elizabeth over to his mother who was talking with another young couple, Donovan standing beside her looking bored out of his mind.

Elizabeth steadily walked beside Theo over to his mother. She lifted her hand around her waist and waved to her, tring to capture her attention. Her eyes adverted slightly over to Donovan, noticing his bored expression. She mentally rolled her eyes and slowly turned her attention back to Marie.

"Ah, and here's the happy couple!" Marie smiled warmly and gave Theo a hug before giving Elizabeth one. "Where have you two been? ...On second thought, don't answer that." Theo smiled and said, "I didn't plan to."

Elizabeth covered her mouth to stiffle her giggles. She finally took control of her small laughter and she lowered her hand to give Marie a bright smile. Good thing she decided that she did not want the answer.

Marie looked over at Donovan, her eyes narrowing. "Isn't there something you would like to say to your brother?" she asked, more like demanded. Donovan sighed and stepped forward. He didn't looked Theo in the eye, obviously being forced to speak. "Yeah, uh, congrats on getting hitched, hope you have a long and healthy life together, blah, blah, blah." He let out a grunt and grimaced when his mother elbowed him in the side. Theo smiled weakly. "Well, thanks anyway." "Yeah, whatever."

Elizabeth's smile twitched as she tried hard to keep it up. "Yea, thanks for the congrats." she said with as much happiness she could musture. Donovan was just to cooky for his own good. She took a deep breath through her nose and she looked over at Marie. "So, who have I not met in the family?" she asked, her head tilting slightly to the side.

Both of the twins got a panicked expression on his face when Marie smiled and called over her parents. It was one of the few times they looked exactly alike. They both bolted, running in different directions, leaving Elizabeth alone to handle the grandparents.

Elizabeth was taken by full surprise by the sudden leave of the twins. 'Weird. Whats gotten into them.' she thought as she looked over at the grandparents that were heading her way. She smiled toward them, her eyes shining brightly in the lights of the ballroom.

Even their grandparents looked young. They didn't appear to be much older than Marie, or even that much older than Elizabeth. The grandmother hurried over to Elizabeth and gave her a huge bear hug, lifting the poor girl right off the ground. "Oh! Finally! When am I going to get some great-grandbabies?!"

Elizabeth's eyes widened as she was lifted into the air by the young looking grandmother. "Great... G-g-grandbabies? Don't you think it is a bit earily for thinking of kids?" she asked shyly, her face reddening more by the moment.

"Nonsense!" The grandmother put Elizabeth back on her feet. "Never too soon! There is no greater gift than a child!" She was completely serious but even her husband appeared a bit uneasy about the topic.

Elizabeth took a well needed breath of air as she was set down onto her feet. She then looked at the grandmother. "When I am ready is when you will be getting your great-grandchildren. So until then you are going to have to wait." she said, jer stubborness starting to kick in.

The grandmother raised an eyebrow and looked like she was going to get angry before a grin broke out on her face. "OOOH! You're just like me when I was your age! I remember when Earl and I got married. Oh, it was the most romantic day of my life. And the honeymoon. Hawaii was amazing! Wasn't it Earl?" "Sure." The grandfather obviously wanted to change the subject but didn't have the will to do it himself.
