XXXXXXX☪ ⊱ Les fleurs du mal se dérouler ✾xxxC o m m e l e s f l e u r s d u m a lxxxxx xxxxxU n a m o u r f a t a lxxx✾ Fleur could barely lift her head let alone have enough strength to continue to be in the position she was on her knees. She was just about to collapse over on to the floor when she felt arms gathering her up from the ground. Her eyes widened in surprise and she looked up to see the boy who had followed her. In her state she had almost forgotten that she wasn't alone. It was comforting to know that she had someone she could depend on even though that someone was a complete stranger. She nodded when he said that he would do his best to help her and then the tiny girl leaned her head against his chest. She closed her eyes and concentrated on trying to slow her breath herself but it didn't seem to be working this time. Too much stress.
She wasn't even paying attention as to where he was heading with her but she did hear his question. After a couple of painful breaths she answered his question with a small smile, "Fleur-De-Lys..." She leaned her head back into him and sighed, "Merci, thank you for helping...Chance."**ooc: Translations in order,...**

Raven glanced over at Amelia for some kind of reassurance. When Amelia did not react, Raven sighed and looked forward. She was the center of attention, and all eyes were on her. She had to quickly decide, but Raven only had a faint idea of what she wanted to perform. Her mind came up with Swan Lake. She was no ballerina, and she was hardly interested in dance. Heck, that was Amelia's field. Yet, she was only a little familiar with Swan Lake. In her other ballet classes, they had practiced some of the dances from Swan Lake to give the class an idea of professional ballet. One performance had stuck with her,
She would have to perform it and hope that Alexander knew the music for it. So, she began to dance. Her black skirt swirled around her as she began. Raven was hesitant at first. Soon, she became Odette rather than playing her. The steps came more fluidly. She remembered Odette's story. Sorrow filled her heart for the poor princess. Her face contorted into a pensive and painful expression. What human deserved such a bitter end?
When she was finished, Raven sank down onto the floor. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes.OOC : ----

She crossed her arms and leaned her weight on her leg left. Her eyes never left Raven as she started dancing, her expression turned analytical. The vampiress had to give it to her though, she was good. Though not perfect. She smirked as she realized this. She would show Raven what perfect looked like.
When Raven finished and sank to the floor she made to step forward and begin her analysis but a sound had stopped her. The sound of a pair of hands joining together over and over again. Clapping. Soon the rest of the class slowly joined in and Milly turned her head to see who had started it. Alexander sat at the piano with a smile on his face. His eyes were fixed upon Raven as he nodded his approval at her. Her blood boiled as she gritted her teeth together. She hid her emotion well though and finally turned to Raven. She raised a hand to silence the class. "Well done Miss Raven. You truly grasp the emotion it took to become Odette in the moment. Though keep in mind that sympathizing with the character is not enough," she smiled sweetly and walked around her with silent, fluid steps. "In technical terms of dance you are still an amateur. Your center was off a lot and there are countless other things you need to work on. But still, you're not bad."
Milly stopped and turned back to the class, "Next please, let us move this along quickly." She wanted to get this class over as fast as possible. She couldn't stand seeing Alexander look at that pathetic mortal anymore. Her eyes were cold as she watched student after student dance.**lol Alexander is getting Raven in trouble XD Also I'm going to wait for Amelia to post to end the class if that's alright.**

The girl had always told her dancing was more Amelia's thing than her's, but Raven was amazing. Amelia knew the dance well, hell she had learned it last summer, purely for fun, she didn't want to dance the swan princess, but something in the way Raven danced was captivating. It all ended too soon however, and she found her hands joining in on the clap, only to stop moments later and almost glare at Milly. That was harsh. Amelia could already tell she might not like their new teacher.
Other dancers went and went, and every time someone looked at Amelia, she shook her head, she would go last, it would give her time to decide on what dance she wanted to do. She could do something from the Nutcracker, or maybe just randomly make up stuff on the spot. Those were her narrowed down choices that is. Then again, she'd been working on a dance solo just for fun, she could always do that.
Soon enough, everyone had gone, and Amelia was pushed forward lightly, she smiled softly at her assistant, smiled at Raven, smiled at Milly, then slowly walked to the music player, her iPod was still in it, so she scrolled quickly and found the song. "Could you press play for me?" After asking, she walked to the center of the floor and took a deep breath.
The music started, and Amelia began to dance.
As soon as the last chord struck, Amelia waited a couple seconds before pushing off of the floor and smiling lightly. She didn't keep standing there o wait for Milly's comment, probably looking as if she thought she was perfect and didn't need it, but she knew she was flawed, but, for peak's sake, the woman was rude to her friend, and gave her a god dammed head ache. Amelia wasn't the same when she had head aches, and certainly wasn't the same with the nightmare she had been having. However, she walked over to stand next to Raven and looked to their teacher to see if they were dismissed. ════════════════════════════[ poooosted(: ]

Milly tore apart their performances and gave each one harsh but constructive feedback. What could she say? She was brutally honest and saw no reason to p***y foot around situations that required nothing but the total truth. Once student even thought they were going to walk out on her class because they were not satisfied with her remarks. She gave them this answer, "By all means please do leave but don't expect to ever come back." She placed her hands behind her back and walked slowly back to the piano where Alexander still sat while she spoke, "If you can't take constructive criticism then how do you expect to be treated in the real world? Do you think everyone is going to automatically worship you like some sort of dancing god slash goddess? No. You are always going to have things to work on to better yourself. Better to know them now than suffer for it later." The student stopped and blushed red then ended up returning to his place.
Soon Milly had seen all the performers except for Amelia. She honestly had to say that she was impressed by her performance. This girl obviously put effort into her dancing and took it quite seriously. "Beautiful performance. You might want to work on relaxing your body though as you dance. I sensed a bit of emotion put into it but not enough to make me believe it. I am assuming that this is a choreographed piece of your own making? Nice attempt but the flow of transitions between movements could be a little smoother. Other than that continue to practice and improve." Still this girl was no where near her own level. What human could possibly compete with a vampire?
She stepped in front of the class once more and raised her head to look at the lot of them in the eye. In that moment she was not simply out to get Raven nor was she even thinking of Alexander. She became the dance instructor and nothing more. "All of you seem to be having difficulties not only finding a balance between having the emotion in your dance balance out your actual skills but in your technical elements as well. I thank you all for showing me what we are working with in this class. Tomorrow there will be more of a lesson rather than just free dance. Before I dismiss you though I'd like to take up Amelia's suggestion of showing you exactly what makes me qualified to be the harsh teacher I am." With that she took her beginning pose and signaled to Alexander to begin her music. She danced. No flaws. No missed steps. Beautiful extensions and movements. This was what being a vampire meant. You were perfect...but that perfection came with a price. Once they all must pay in the end. A blood price.
When she finished she was not even out of breath. She bowed her head to the delighted clapping of her students and waved her right hand at them, "You are all dismissed." With that she returned to where Alexander sat and struck up a conversation on their performance. Her smile was radiant as he paid attention to no one but her. She knew she had impressed him as well and she was happy for it. To anyone else they looked like a mere student and teacher conversing about the class but to her she had gotten her Armand back if only for just this moment.****

Her sheer black skirt was draped over her thighs and knees. Raven had put all of her talent and emotion into the dance. She had been telling the story of a girl who was cursed, something she felt that she could relate to. She did not expect anybody in the room to applaud or to boo; the dance was what it was. Yet, she was extremely surprised when she heard the sound of applause from around her.
Slowly, Raven lifted herself to look about her. The entire room, save for Milly, was applauding her. Carefully rising with pointe shoes on, Raven shifted to her front leg and rose as gracefully as she could manage. She smiled and curtsied to her impressed audience. Even though the class applauded, Raven did not think much of her performance. Partially it was because her passions lay in art of the hands than of the body. The other half was simply because she did not think herself perfect, and Raven knew that she was not.
She turned to the teacher and listened to her feedback. Raven's face remained impassive as she took in Milly's criticisms. Only a tiny part of her balked against the teacher's harshness. As a writer, Raven was a harsh critic of other people's writing. How else was improvement going to be motivated? She understood that harshness was key, though Milly could have stressed the positive as equally as the negative. Raven bobbed her head in understanding and went to stand beside her friend. She and Amelia watched the performances--Milly harshly commenting on all--until it was Amelia's turn.
Raven's face lit up from its impassiveness with a bright and hopeful smile. She clapped softly as Amelia ascended to the front to dance. Amelia's dance solo was fluid and breathtaking. With every step and movement, the girl put everything into the performance. When she was finished, Raven furiously applauded her friend. As Amelia returned to her, Raven wound her arm through hers and squeezed affectionately. "I am officially amazed, Amelia. That was so beautiful." She glanced up at the teacher and then back at her friend. "Don't mind her. You were extraordinary. no doubt about it."
At the end, Milly performed for them. Raven directed her attention up front. Right off the bat, Raven could tell that Milly was in no way humble about her performance. Vanity and the guise of perfection oozed from every orifice of her dancing. The girl feigned a delighted smile as she came to her final steps. Her dancing was shallow, without depth, which Raven would have liked to have seen. The teacher was only focused on appearing perfect. Raven did not say any of these things out loud. She was relieved when they were dismissed.
Raven filed into the girls' locker room to dress in normal attire.
_____
Raven leaned against the wall outside of the dance classroom. From that one performance, she had worked up quite the appetite. Her stomach was grumbling and complaining for dinner, but the school would not be eating for a while. Snippets of phrases floated through her mind. Raven smiled and slipped her poem book out from her backpack. She retrieved a pen and began writing as she waited for Amelia to finish.OOC : ----

↘↘ ▄Amelia just looked past Milly, more looking at the wall behind her. She knew her dance was flawed, and this woman could insult her all she wanted, but her mother had helped her choreograph the dance, and her mother was an amazing ballerina. Nothing Milly said registered in her mind, though she did hear the comment on being smoother, and emotion, which almost made her smirk, though she knew it was true, she hadn't really put any emotion in it, or tried to make it fluid. Amelia was just in a bad mood, she really did need to be nice to their new teacher.
↘↘ ▄Amelia smiled brightly at Raven when she spoke. "Aw, thanks Raye, you were amazing too, you looked like a real ballerina, a perfect Swan princess." She knew Raven was complimenting her, but she didn't really think she'd done that amazing, as a reply to the compliments, she smiled at her friend and leaned on her for a second.
↘↘ ▄As Milly danced, Amelia watched her face and her legs, she was good, Amelia would give her that, but she was biased, in her mind, her mother was one of the best ballerina's she'd seen, but their new teacher was very good.
↘↘ ▄Following the heard of girls into the dressing room, Amelia quickly changed out of her dance attire and into what she had been wearing before, then slipped out of the room to find Raven waiting for her. "Hungry?" She herself wasn't all that hungry, perhaps enough to have a snack, but she wanted to go with Raven. Her mood was brightening to an extent, but she still felt that creeping looming feeling.
