"Just take a guess at whatever feels closest." Edge called out. As she heard another walk in, she rolled her eyes, suspecting it was simply Tango.
"Please, I don't need an escort in here. Just picking up my armor.." She mumbled, grabbing her helmet as it was the closest.

"Oh. But we all need one." A familiar voice told her, as the sound and smell of gas seeped into the factory, all around Edge.
"When humans and Reploids meet their selective makers, and escort is needed." they added, before a jet of flame was then shot right at Edge.
Something pushed her out of the way before she was hit, fortunately.
Tango shoved her out of harm and took the flame instead, giving a pained growl.
"...Interesting development, to say the least..." the Maverick from before said, staring at Tango, their hand raising, and pointed right at the weakened robot.
"No matter. This fate was destined as well." he told him, shooting what looked like a concentrated ball of fire right at Tango, breaking through a good portion of his armor.
As Tango was hit, he fell back, taking his rifle out from behind his back and shooting the Maverick, but to no avail, due to both the pain, and lack of sight from the fire as he hit the ground.
"The Master's wish, as well as my compatriot's desire to see you in pain for his arm, all fulfilled..." he said, before slowly looking over at Edge.
"I could easily reduce you to cinders for what happened to Sphere, but I feel being helpless while your friend burns will be enough for now.." he told her, before his hands pointed to the ground, shooting fire between the two of them, and disappearing in the chaos, long before the fire dissipated.

Edge stiffened for a moment as the dangerously familiar voice spoke to her. She turned around, looking at the Maverick with total surprise. How the Hell did he get here..? Her eyes darted around in panic, unable to ignore the gleam of the gasoline surrounding her. And how could I have missed that?
Something bright then flared up, bringing her attention to the flames that raced towards her. Edge stood helpless like a deer caught in headlights at the flames. She was too busy looking at what was possibly death to even notice Tango come back into the factory, not until she was forced out of the way from the flames and away from her armor.
She tumbled on the ground, looking over in shock. Things were going on too fast she could barely react. "Tango." She scrambled onto her feet, going to the other but just as she started to move, there was another blast of fire, making her stop in hesitation. She stared down at him, falling more in panic and shock as the Maverick decided she wasn't worth killing. She had been startled by the fire created between her and Tango, and hesitatingly backed up. Edge looked back at what last to be known as Tango though and felt her gut sink.
She bolted, going through the fire that divided them and straight to her discarded helmet first.
"Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!" She called out on all channels. "This is Edge. I have a downed Hunter, fleeing Maverick, and a fire. I need back up." She kicked the rest of her armor aside away from the fire before she went to Tango, confused as to what she should or could do to help.
"I repeat, I have a downed Hunter and a fire in sector K-20," her eyes darted around, seeing a fire extinguisher by a doorway. "I need back up NOW." She made another dash through the flames, going for the fire extinguisher. She practically ripped it off of the wall before she made a run back to Tango.

Tango slowly looked over to Edge, seeing the fire around him, and weakly pointed to the back of the room; the container from before. Silently telling her to make sure that wasn't destroyed.
He slowly began an attempt to stand.
".....There aren't any other hunters deployed in that area, ma'am. Verification is required!" a voice called back into her helmet.

"I'll get to that in a minute." Edge growled as she starting spraying Tango with nitrogen. Once the fire on him was taken care, she tossed aside the extinguisher, giving a growl of ******** VERIFICATION!" She barked as she went into the room, grabbing Tango's container. "DO YOU HEAR ME? I HAVE A HUNTER DOWN AND A FIRE IN SECTOR K-20! NOW UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE TWO VERY GOOD HUNTERS IN A FIRE BECAUSE YOU MONKEYS CAN'T SEND SOMEONE, THEN PLEASE, ASK FOR VERIFICATION AGAIN! IN THE MEAN TIME, I NEED HELP!"

There was a pause on the other end of the Comm.
"..........................An evac crew and fire team have been deployed and will arrive in three minutes...."

"Fine." Edge growled, going back to Tango, the box tucked securely under her arm. Three minutes was far too long for her liking, but at least help would be arriving.
"Tango, come on." She grabbed his arm with her free hand, helping him up. "We need to get out of here. Help is coming."

".....Guess that condition is bust...." Tango groaned, his voice sounding damaged.
As she helped her up, he looked to the exit.
"Need to make a break for it, Hunter. I'll be fine.."

"I'll get your factory fixed, don't worry." Edge grinned, before starting to cough. While her air system could last longer than a humans, even she wasn't immune to smoke.
"Come on." She tugged on his arm as she went to the entrance (the closest exit she could see), hearing the damage in his voice. "We need to get going.

"...So be it." he told her, following her to the entrance.

"I'll get you a new one then." Edge grumbled, continuing to press forward until they were fifteen yards away from the building, where her armor laid, charred but functional.
"You may want to drop your EMF." She coughed, setting down Tango's box and releasing his arm so she could put on the rest of her armor.
