Revamp there is no such thing as an innocent. all things are inherently evil. they must LEARN to be civilized. Kids are innocent, at least in the eyes of God, since they don't quite have the mental capacity to really understand much of the differences between right and wrong. If you think that killing is an unfeeling thing, then I would sugest that you should seek some therapy.....because such a thing is not natural. gonk

maybe in the eyes of god, but there is nothing more cruel than a child. they pull the legs off of insects, they trap animals so they can torture them, they beat each other up in groups of 10's or so.
they are pretty evil.

That too, if your religious. But i mean all thing's, from birth, have a naturally evil and cruel disposition. Little babys grab on your finger, you think its cute. They think "i wish i had teeth to bite him with". You see a little kid playing with action figures, throwing them at each other and playing army men. They're practicing for the day they might be president or super strong.
Everything is evil, its just to what degree. There is no innocence, there is no purity. Even the cleanest water contain's things which cannot be taken out. No diamond, no matter how perfect, is ever totally flawless. Even if at only a macroscopic level, that diamond has flaws. Be it the clearity you can see through it, the cut, the hardness, or even the smoothness, it has some form of flaw. And every being is the same. We are all evil, it just depends to what amount. If you deny it, you deny a part of yourself, a piece of your very basis. If you accept it, you can control it and eventually desensitize it. But there is no such thing as innocent. Please don't bring religious views into this, or examples from religion. [froggy especially]
Dont bring views on your "sexuality" into this either [gaybashers or the sexually insecure] , or start rambling about how i'm a twisted wierdo, and my demented thoughts don't amount to anything. [>_> 98% of the people i know...]

Lol. Dude they DO amount to something, and your views show this. Even if they aren't showing themselves now in a dangerous way, it's STILL unhealthy. I'd know since I'm taking Abnormal Psych in class.
There ARE such things as innocent. Evil when you get down to it is doing things you KNOW to be wrong. Basic life ethic applies.....BUT if you are too stupid to understand then they are innocent of any "wrongdoing" that they may do.
Not to mention I believe in my religion and I believe it has a lot to give you, even if you don't like the religious part. It's my firm belief that our troubles in today's society are from turning away from God.....

Rei-chan... I'm sure I can say something in depth about today's society and turning away from God... but I won't touch that... what I will say however is that your are right at the fact that children are innocent... when at a developing age, they have no idea what is right and what is wrong... not untill it is taught.... now here is the clincher.... depending on what is taught... in the eyes of some cultures, even, their "evil intentions" could be something entirely harmless in the eyes of another... so if you think about it... as we grow up and practice and live by what was taught as right and wrong... aren't we all innocent?
but I'm not entirely done... of course.. in any beings book.. killing is wrong.. to take anothers life, be it in the context of intentionally killing the victim, is not an appropriate act... I'm sure there is no culture which allows killing to good... so if you do kill.. I believe you are no longer innocent...

hm... what about the excrusiatingly slow and painful torture of others, or the rapid inflicting of wounds from weapons which wont be described? is that evil or uninnocent?

Revamp I'd say... amusing to the first, and a common activity in my schedule to the 2nd. heh.. yea... torture isn't allways painful, however... unfortunately... the whole forced tickling and all... I'd rather end things quick... suffering is nice, but it takes too damn long...

Well basically doing wrong requires you to KNOW you are doing it. Even if it's a part of culture it's STILL not always the right thing. There's people taught that killing is good, and to worship Satan.....yet they end up not believeing in it. Not to mention it's even happened with racists. In people's heart of hearts they KNOW certain things are wrong regardless of what their society tells them.....they just don't want the slack they'd get for listening to it....or it's ignored.
Remember evil doings are doing harm towards others.....

Judgement... a very hard matter in the minds of all beings... even animal have judgement... would they be considered innocent? And how about loyalty... I am very loyal... would my actions responding to my Loyalty... could they be considered evil? If there were not an evil intention present?

I deal out justice! Vigilanty of the south! I'm kinda like batman and the joker at once. I do it for a certain reason hidden in my past, (alter ego being revamp, mild mannered to a point), yet my punishments are quite wicked and demented.
