Can't forget Fist of the North Star, only anime with more head exploding than Akira, another good one as well. Along with Hellsing, Chrno Crusade, Bleach, and Teh Hina...

My absolute favorites are Hellsing, Gundam, Eureka 7, Elfen Lied, and Love Hina (Shut up! I came across it and it looked funny so I watched it!)
