Our professor gave a printed copy of the piece, so that's why I'm not posting any quotes here. At least for this piece anyway. I may do some for the other two pieces I'll have to read.

It's a little weird writing in third-person. I'm doing the CR peer review for my own CR I wrote for English Studies... and it just comes out easier for me to explain what I feel needs to be worked on and what not in third-person. It's probably the way the questions are being asked that influences the styling of my responses.

Now to write a CR discussing the Ashbridge piece I read.

I didn't originally plan on doing a CR for this bunch, but I actually was quite intrigued by Ashbridge's narrative... and I feel like talking about it. So yeah...

You know you've seen a film too many times when you listen to the soundtrack for the said movie and are able to imagine the scene that occurs... and even say the lines word for word in perfect timing of the music.

*laughs* That's the case with me and the movie The Holiday. I'm listening to the soundtrack right now, and everytime I hear Track 9 "Something Unexpected," my mind always pops up with Jude Law's line.

"See! You're a lot better than you think you are."

*sneezes* Meh... I really hope I'm not catching a cold or anything like that. This whole day my nose has been bugging me slightly... like the early symptoms of a stuffing nose. Hopefully it's just a random spur of the moment thing. I don't want to get sick right now.

I'll be leaving soon at some point to go have dinner out with my Dad and to get some groceries.

On March 8, Mardi Gras, I'll be doing a special occasion with the coloring for my text. Instead of the pink/purple gradient I've been doing, I'll be specially doing a purple/green gradient in honor of the festivities. *shrugs* I thought I would change things up for the occasion... and potentially start a trend for future holidays.

After lunch I'll be finishing my reading homework for 17th/18th C. Lit. class... and then depending on time - and my mood, I'll either watch a few more episodes of Ellen... or make some dollz. *shrugs* We'll see...

But as of right now, I'm going to go take a shower. Be back in a bit.

So awhile back my Dad had informed me that our local theater was reopening and were accepting applications for the positions they were offering. I had dropped off my application. Based on what the guy had said, I would be hearing from them pretty soon.

I was just looking at the website about the employment, and based on how everything is worded, if I am one of the chosen applicants, I should be hearing from them either this week or next week to set up an interview. *shrugs* So... we'll see whether I receive a call from them or not.

It would be nice being able to get a new job, especially when there's the possibility of me being out of work this summer when my Aunt moves. *shrugs*
